Beechcraft jets in business aviation
Founded in 1932, “Beech Aircraft Company” was established by Walter Herschel Beech in Wichita, Kansas. The biplane Beechcraft D17 Staggerwing, introduced in 1934, was a legendary flying machine that served as a reconnaissance aircraft during the Second World War. Beechcraft D17 Staggerwing was popular among businessmen and farmers. In 2012, Aviation History magazine ranked this elegant biplane fifth in their top 12 list of the “World’s Most Beautiful Airplanes”. Beechcraft D17 Staggerwing was called an art deco classic.
The company entered the XXI century as an international aerospace concern “Hawker Beechcraft Corporation” (HBC). The most popular products of the company are business jets Beechcraft and Hawker (including a single-engine turboprop Beechcraft Bonanza, twin-engine turboprop Beechcraft Super King Air and a light business jet aircraft Beechcraft Premier I). The mid-size jets Hawker 800 and its larger version Hawker 4000 Horizon were also popular among the customers. However, “HBC” didn’t survive the financial crisis of 2008. In 2012, the company’s management filed for bankruptcy.
In 2014, the auctioned production facilities of the bankrupt company were purchased by the industrial conglomerate “Textron”. The company created a corporation for the production of business aviation jets “Textron Aviation Inc.”, which included “Beechcraft” and “Hawker Aircraft” (as subsidiaries). These companies were also purchased by “Cessna Aircraft Company”.
United under the parent firm, the brands “Beechcraft” and “Cessna” stopped being fierce competitors. Instead, they started to complement each other.
In 2014, “Textron Aviation” took Hawker off-market. However, it continued to provide technical support and supply spare parts for the current air fleet of these business jets through the existing network of service centres.
Today, Beechcraft’s lineup includes light turboprop, piston and jet aircrafts.

Stages of flight preparation
A business jet flight is carefully prepared. The whole organization of the flight consists of several stages:
- Planning. At this stage, the request received from the customer is processed, the most suitable aircraft are selected, legal issues and flight safety issues are resolved;
- A contract is concluded. The contract specifies the obligations of the parties, the route schedule, departure dates, and cost. The agreement is drawn up in two copies, the first remains with the air broker, the other is for the client. The payment is possible in any way that suits the customer;
- Ensuring the flight. This is one of the most important stages of flight organization. The air broker coordinates the receipt of slots, submits requests to the aviation services for departure and landing, looks for suitable VIP terminals;
- Flying in ideal conditions. After signing the contract, passengers of charter flights are only required to arrive at the airport on time, board, and spend time in the sky in a pleasant atmosphere.
If necessary, air brokers will arrange a transfer from the arrival airport, book a hotel or find the best accommodation in the private sector.
How to rent a business jet with a crew
5 main stages:
Sending an application
Clarification of details and search for options
Preparation and coordination of optimal options
Registration of documents. Payment of the invoice.
Departure on the route.
The prototype of the light, twin-engined piston aircraft Beechcraft Baron, was introduced in 1961. Various modifications of this successful jet are still in production. Scope of application: short and medium-haul private, business and leisure flights. By 2020, about 7.000 models of this business jet have been built.
Dozens of Beechcraft Baron’s patrol and training planes are used by the Royal Air Force of the US, Spain, Turkey, Mexico and several countries of South America.
Modern models are powered by two 260 hp six-cylinder Continental IO-470-L engines.
Main characteristics of Beechcraft Baron
- crew: 1 pilot;
- passenger capacity: 4-5 sears;
- wingspan: 11.53 m;
- takeoff weight: 2.313 kg;
- cruising speed: 330 km/h;
- range: 1.745 km;
- altitude ceiling: 6.000 m;
- takeoff run: 511 m;
- landing run: 560 m.
Comparable models from other manufacturers: Vulcanair P68 (Italy), Piper PA-34 Seneca (USA) and L-200 Morava (the Czech Republic). In 2011, the market of very light business jets expanded with a cheap Polish jet EM-11C Orka, powered by turboprop engines in pusher configuration, mounted behind the wings. Its small cabin is no larger than the interior of an SUV.
Beechcraft King Air
Large and spacious twin-engine turboprop Beechcraft King Air has been serving private pilots for three generations. The jet has been produced since 1964. Today, 90, 100, 200 and 300 series are available on the market. Each of them has several modifications.
Many models of such jets were made for the United States Department of War. These versions have their own names - VC-6A and T-44 Pegasus. The most popular model, U-21 Ute, is used for the transportation of top officers and other VIPs, as well as aerial photography and mapping equipment. The jet is included in the fleet of the U.S. Coast Guard. Beechcraft King Air Jets are powered by two 715 hp Garrett TPE-331 engines or two 750 hp PT6A-135 engines.
Main characteristics of Beechcraft King Air C90GTi
- crew: 1-2 pilots;
- passenger capacity: 6-8 seats;
- wingspan: 11.3 m;
- cruising speed: 500 km/h;
- altitude ceiling: 9.140 m;
- takeoff weight: 4.581 kg;
- range: 1.539 km.
Beechcraft King Air Jets are increasingly squeezing the modern turboprops (for example, Italian Piaggio P180 Avanti with dual push props, an American family of single-engine Piper Malibu Meridian, Piper PA-46 Malibu and Matrix, Swiss Pilatus PC-12 and French Daher Socata TBM) out of the light and very light jets market.
For almost fifty years, Beechcraft King Air was the jet number one in its class. But in this century, it faced strong competition from the modern turbojets (such as Embraer Phenom 100, Honda HA-420 and HondaJet).
Beechcraft Premier 1A
The major achievement of Beechcraft was a successful model of a light business jet Beechcraft Premier 1A, powered by two Williams-Rolls FJ44-2A two-spool, turbofan engines. Although this jet has almost the same size as its analogues from other aviation brands, it has a more spacious cabin, a higher speed and 8-11% lower operating costs per one nautical mile. For now, it’s the only jet in the lineup of Beechcraft. Beechcraft Premier 1A made its first flight in 1998 and was certificated in 2001. Dozens of different cabin designs are available.
Main characteristics of Beechcraft Premier 1A
- crew: 1-2 pilots;
- passenger capacity: 4-7 seats;
- takeoff weight: 5.640 kg;
- range: 2.519 km;
- cruising speed: up to 854 km/h (max – 910 km/h);
- altitude ceiling: 12.500 m;
- takeoff run: 1.156 m;
- landing run: 966 m.
The modern electronic equipment installed onboard Beechcraft Premier 1A provides a high level of flight safety.
Comparable models of very light business jets: Bombardier Challenger 300, Gulfstream GV and Hawker 800XP.

Traveling on a rented business jet is convenient, fast, and comfortable. You can further improve flight conditions and safety in the sky by ordering a number of additional services, such as:
- Catering – individual meals on board. The passenger can tell us the wishes for the menu, and we will fully fulfill them;
- Internet - we organize a stable connection throughout the flight;
- Comprehensive service in VIP halls;
- Transfer at any airport on the type of transport that suits the passenger – a car, a helicopter, a yacht;

How to pay for a flight and refund money for a failed flight
Payment for the aircraft lease is carried out after the signing of the contract. You can deposit cash or make a wire transfer. In some situations, an invoice is more convenient, but in any case, our company allows the client to choose the payment method that is more profitable for him/her.
If the scheduled flight is canceled at the client’s request, the funds won’t be returned in full. This is quite understandable since certain costs for the organization of the flight were already on the part of the air broker. However, our company tries to make sure that the client loses as little as possible. In those situations, when the lease is canceled due to our fault, which fortunately happens extremely rarely, the funds are returned in full.
You can find out all the conditions for renting business jets by phone or by sending a request to our company's email.
