Private jet charter in Singapore
A private jet leaves a London airfield and reaches Singapore in about 15 hours 25 minutes with one stop in Dubai, and the first decision on arrival is which of the island's two airports will take you. Private Jets UK builds a Singapore charter around three early choices: Seletar or Changi, the permit and the arrival window that go with it, and the way the party covers the last miles to the hotel. Our customers have access to 6,500 jets of all types and configurations available for rent. We will help you choose the best option based on your needs and objectives. Our catalog contains the models from the largest manufacturers: Gulfstream, Dassault, Embraer, Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, Learjet, Cessna, Beechcraft, Pilatus, HondaJet, etc. We have established partnerships with the world's largest airlines and VIP terminals, which means we can offer you favourable flight conditions and a high level of service. Our experts will manage the organization of your flight - starting with paperwork, agreements, etc., and ending with a transfer and meeting at the airport. Our company provides a full range of business aviation and concierge services. In Singapore that usually means a business aviation centre at Seletar, about twenty minutes from the towers of Marina Bay, or the private terminal beside Terminal 2 at Changi, and for a party that carries on to Kuala Lumpur, Phuket or Bali a second aircraft chosen to match the next leg.

At your request, the aviation consultants of Private Jets UK will help you choose the jet with the suitable technical parameters (production year, flight hours, and home base). The cost of the private jet charter in Singapore depends on many factors, such as the model of the business jet, the number of passengers, departure and destination airports, type of flight, duration of parking, additional services, etc. Therefore, we calculate the price of each order individually taking into account your wishes. You can use an online calculator to get an instant charter quote. Please indicate your real contact details to get the final calculation.
You can calculate the cost of your flight in several ways:
- using an online calculator on the website (however, it shows only the approximate price);
- via Messenger (WhatsApp or Telegram);
- by landline or cell phone;
- via e-mail (jets@private-jets.co.uk).
Please note that the above-mentioned price is indicative only. It is calculated on this basis: a departure from London Biggin Hill, a Bombardier Challenger 605 to Singapore Seletar with one technical stop in Dubai and two passengers aboard. If you want to get a personal quote, just fill out the online booking form below. Our aviation consultant will make the calculation within 20 minutes, and then contact you to specify the details of the flight.
How long does it take to fly to Singapore?
Singapore keeps Universal Time plus eight hours all year with no change of clocks, which puts it seven hours ahead of Britain in summer and eight in winter. A morning departure from a London airfield lands on the following afternoon or evening by the local clock, depending on the aircraft. These are the planned sectors on the lowest-priced aircraft that can fly each of them with the single stop in Dubai, gate to gate, including about an hour on the ground:
6,341 nautical miles planned, the business aviation airfield in the north-east of the islandabout 15 h 25 min
6,350 nautical miles planned, the international airport on the eastern tip, nine nautical miles farther onabout 15 h 30 min
6,371 nautical miles planned, the other London business aviation airfieldabout 15 h 30 min
6,450 nautical miles planned, the northern English departure on the same aircraftabout 15 h 40 min
6,518 nautical miles planned, the Scottish departure, still inside one stopabout 15 h 50 min
6,592 nautical miles planned, the Northern Irish departure, the farthest of the sixabout 16 h
Why most flights stop in Dubai
The straight line from Biggin Hill to Seletar is about 5,900 nautical miles on the chart and 6,086 as planned once the allowance for airways is added. The planned run through Dubai is 6,341 nautical miles, split into 3,067 from London and 3,274 onward to Singapore.
We plan each leg at no more than about 85 percent of the published range. A Challenger 605, rated at 4,000 nautical miles, stays inside that margin on both legs and is the cheapest aircraft that can make the trip. A Global 6000 or a Gulfstream G550 cannot hold the margin over 6,086 miles in one go. The Gulfstream G650ER and the Global 7500 plan the sector at about 81 and 82 percent of their rated range, so they can fly it nonstop in around 12 h 30 min, for about £192,850 and £207,850, provided the operator confirms the payload in writing.
The runway at Seletar is 1,836 metres long. For a full-fuel departure on the longest sectors the operator checks take-off performance first, and the handlers' own advice is that Changi, with its longer runways, suits a maximum-length departure better. That matters most on the way home.
The exact flight time depends on the model of the business jet, as well as the speed of the tail or head wind. Our consultant will make a detailed calculation of the flight time for the chosen business jet.

Prices for the private jet flights to Singapore
Typical one-way prices from Britain, cheapest first. A Challenger 605 sets the floor for every British departure in the table, from Biggin Hill to Glasgow, while the Falcon 900LX, the Gulfstream G450, the Global 6000 and the Gulfstream G550 show what a larger cabin adds. What these figures leave out
– The choice of airport moves the price very little. From London Biggin Hill a Challenger 605 reaches Seletar for about £125,650 and Changi for about £125,800, a difference of £150, because the two are nine nautical miles apart. The headline price is for Seletar, the airfield most business flights use. The real difference is in handling: ground handling is cheaper at Seletar, while fuel is cheaper at Changi, where airline volumes keep the price down;
– Landing and handling charges at Dubai, the Singapore permit and the handler's fee are quoted on top. The figures are one-way, and on a sector this long a one-way price includes the empty flight home, since an aircraft that delivers a party to Singapore seldom has a passenger waiting to fly back. A Falcon 900LX from London Biggin Hill costs about £155,950, a Global 6000 from Manchester about £172,950 and a Gulfstream G550 from Edinburgh about £182,950.
Private jet flights from Singapore to its neighbours
Singapore has no domestic flying to speak of. Seletar and Changi are 9 nautical miles apart, and the trips we are asked for are all regional. Kuala Lumpur is 180 nautical miles from Seletar, Jakarta 515, Phuket 542 and Bali 947, and Johor Bahru lies just 19 nautical miles away across the strait. The table gives the sectors that clients add to a Singapore stay, each flown from Seletar:

Before you plan a regional loop
– Seletar closes to flights for the night. The noise rules bar movements from 22:00 to 07:00 local time (1400 to 2300 UTC in the aeronautical publication) except for medical and emergency flights, so a party on a day trip has to be back on the ground before 22:00 or land at Changi instead;
– Each country along the way keeps its own permit system. A landing in Malaysia needs approval from the civil aviation authority at least three working days ahead, and the Indonesian and Thai fields have their own lead times, which we confirm in writing before the quote is final;
– Johor Bahru looks like a short drive from Singapore on the map, but the border road crossing can take two to three hours in busy periods, so a jet to Senai is a way to reach the Malaysian side and not a shortcut into the city.
We can arrange the flights from any cities in the UK (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) and European countries. Due to a large database of available business jets, we can help you find an optimal jet and crew. If you have any questions about the departure or the flight itself, you can ask them using the form below:
Prices depending on the type of business jet
We can clearly show the high dependence of the cost of the flight, on the type of aircraft - we have collected approximate data, at the price of 1 flight hour, for various types of business jets:

The cost per hour indicated in the table is preliminary and does not constitute an offer or a commercial offer. Exact prices are available from the managers of the company.
Online Calculator
If you want to make an urgent calculation of the cost of a private plane flight, use our online calculator. Just fill in all the fields of the form with a note that you are interested in a specific model of the aircraft and get the final price. NB! - the figures are sent to you by email or messenger, please carefully fill in the contact details to get the calculation.
All our calculations are as transparent as possible for you. After receiving the request, we will prepare a beautiful offer - where the costs and the final price will be clearly described. The exact price is agreed in advance and is written in the contract, so you can be sure of the final cost.
Private jets are ready to take off
Our database contains over 6,500 business jets (about 3,500 in Europe and 3,000 in the rest of the world) of different configurations and production years. The list of models is constantly updated. Unfortunately, we can't post a full list of available jets on our website due to confidentiality issues. Please contact the managers of the company for more accurate information. We will help you choose a suitable model taking into account your wishes. These are the typical choices for Singapore:
Long range and ultra-long range
The cabins that can plan a nonstop flight from London and the largest parties with one stop. Twelve to fifteen hours in the air is long enough that a flat bed and a quiet cabin decide the choice.
Large cabins
The right size for a family or a delegation of ten. The Challenger 605 is the lowest-priced aircraft we plan to Singapore, and the Falcon 900LX and the Gulfstream G450 are the next step up.
Super-midsize
Not for the journey from Britain, but the aircraft for the region once you are there: Seletar to Kuala Lumpur, Phuket, Jakarta or Bali, where a runway of 1,836 metres is no obstacle.
Light jets
The aircraft for a short hop to Johor Bahru or Kuala Lumpur, or for a single passenger in a hurry. A light jet lands at either Singapore airport.
Turboprops
A Pilatus PC-12 or a King Air takes up to nine on short regional sectors, but Changi does not admit propeller aircraft, so these work from Seletar only.

For a sector this long we look for an aircraft positioned in the Gulf or in South-East Asia as well as in Britain, so the dates should reach us while they can still move.

Business aviation airports in Singapore
Two airports take business jets, and they are very different places. The table gives the two together with the two fields that matter around them, with times in local time except where the aeronautical publication gives them in Universal Time:
| Airport | Ground | How it operates |
|---|---|---|
| Singapore Seletar XSP / WSSL |
14.6 km north of the city centre, about a twenty-minute drive | The airfield most business aviation uses, managed by Changi Airport Group and set inside the Seletar Aerospace Park. One runway, 03/21, of 1,836 metres by 46, grooved asphalt. Every arriving and departing aircraft must appoint a licensed ground handler, and passengers and crew of non-scheduled flights clear customs and immigration at the Seletar Business Aviation Centre. The handlers listed are Jet Aviation, Universal Aviation Singapore and Wings Over Asia; Universal reports that it can handle aircraft up to a Boeing 757-200, the largest that operates here. Customs, immigration and health are listed round the clock, but the noise rules bar flights from 22:00 to 07:00 local time (1400 to 2300 UTC in the publication) apart from medical and emergency flights. Fuel is sold from 07:30 to 22:00 on weekdays and from 08:30 to 17:30 at weekends and on public holidays, and a request outside those hours needs about two hours' notice and an overtime charge. There is no flight caterer on the field, so meals are brought from Changi or a hotel kitchen. The terminal's single customs counter handles one movement at a time, with departures given priority |
| Singapore Changi SIN / WSSS |
about 24 km east of the city centre, about twenty-five minutes by car | The international hub, with runways of up to 4,000 metres and airline traffic on a scale that leaves business aircraft on the sidelines. Business flights need a slot, requested from the airport's coordination office at least 72 hours ahead, and ground time is limited to 24 hours from the arrival slot. Propeller aircraft are not admitted, and a handler must be appointed. Passengers clear immigration and customs at the commercially-important-persons facility beside Terminal 2, a private terminal with its own driveway and lounge. Business aircraft are usually given a remote stand, and in the middle of the day, from 10:00 to 18:00 local time, handlers report that quick turnarounds are the norm. Fuel is cheaper than at Seletar and ground handling dearer, and Changi works round the clock, which makes it the airport for a night arrival |
| Paya Lebar Air Base QPG / WSAP |
in the east of the island | A military base of the Republic of Singapore Air Force, with no civil traffic. It was the island's main airport until civil traffic moved to Changi. It is listed here only so that nobody plans around it, and the long-term master plan expects the site to become a new town |
| Johor Bahru (Senai) JHB / WMKJ |
in Malaysia, 19 nautical miles from Seletar across the strait | The practical alternative when Singapore's slots, curfew or parking do not fit. Runway 16/34 is 3,800 metres long, and a private aviation terminal stands next to the main building. It has none of Singapore's slot constraints, but the party then crosses the border by road, which can take two to three hours in busy periods |
| Dubai, the usual technical stop DXB / OMDB and DWC / OMDW |
the Gulf, 3,067 nautical miles from Biggin Hill | Two airports are available, and the choice depends on the handler, the slot and the aircraft. The stop of about an hour is already in the flying times |
Four rules shape every arrival:
A permit for the flight
All non-scheduled flights need prior approval, filed through the civil aviation authority's online system at least three working days before arrival or departure. A faster express permit is available with at least 24 hours' notice, and applications that give too little warning are not considered.
A slot at Changi, a window at Seletar
Changi coordinates slots, requested at least 72 hours ahead. Seletar does not issue slots but asks for the flight details from the handler within a window that opens seven days before and closes at 22:00 local time the evening before.
Gaps in the Seletar day
Non-training flights are barred on Tuesday to Sunday between 09:30 and 10:30, 12:00 and 13:00, 15:00 and 16:00 and 17:00 and 18:00 local time. The handler builds the arrival around them.
A handler on the application
The application names the ground handler, who registers the aircraft with customs and immigration, orders fuel, arranges parking and books the car. Business aircraft at Changi are parked nose-in and pushed back with a tow-bar, without reverse thrust.
Where the aircraft waits
Parking is the scarce resource. Seletar has stands for most types, but a stay of more than 24 hours means the aircraft is towed to a compact parking area, and parking is getting harder to find. Changi puts business aircraft on remote stands and caps the ground time at 24 hours. For a stay of several days we compare keeping the aircraft in Singapore with sending it to Johor Bahru or Kuala Lumpur and back, and we quote the cheaper plan before the price is agreed.
Arriving from Britain: entry, permits and the handler
For the passengers the border is quick, and for the aircraft the permit and the airport window set the date.
British citizens need no visa for tourism or business. Immigration officers decide the length of stay, which for British citizens is normally 30 to 90 daysno visa
Valid for at least six months after the date of arrival, and a lost or stolen passport means refused entryevery passenger
The online SG Arrival Card, with a health declaration, is completed within three days before arrivalbefore landing
Fingerprints, iris and face images are recorded on arrival and again on departureon entry
E-cigarettes and vaporisers, chewing gum for sale, weapons and ammunition including empty cartridge cases, replica guns and radio communications equipment are prohibited, and anything dutiable or doubtful is declareddeclare
Penalties for importing controlled drugs run up to execution, passengers can be screened on arrival, and a drug taken legally abroad can still lead to a chargezero tolerance
A yellow fever certificate is needed only for passengers arriving from a country with a transmission risk, or who have been in one in the six days before arrival, which a flight from Britain via Dubai does not normally involveif asked
The approvals behind every arrival
The permit. The flight is filed through the civil aviation authority's system with the operator and charterer, the aircraft and its capacity, the passenger names, the route, the times, the local agent and the handler. The certificates of registration and airworthiness and the operator's certificate are lodged with it. An operator that holds an air operator certificate and flies a charter also needs a foreign operator's permit, and the authority tells operators to start that process well ahead.
The papers. Documents are in English in the ICAO format. The handler presents the general declaration and the passenger manifest, two copies each to immigration, one each to customs and one each to health, and customs endorses a copy of the general declaration as clearance. The flight plan for a technical landing is filed at least two hours before arrival.
The advance check. Singapore's immigration authority checks advance passenger details before boarding under its no-boarding directive. Whether it extends to a private flight, and what it asks for, is confirmed by the handler for each trip, so passport details are given exactly as they will be used at the border.
Coming home is a flight into Britain: a General Aviation Report goes to the border authorities not earlier than 48 hours and not later than two hours before departure, and British and Irish citizens need no electronic travel authorisation for Britain.

Which airport for which purpose in Singapore
The island is small enough that every address is within half an hour of either airport. The deciding factors are the time of day, the size of the aircraft and the length of the stay:
Seletar is 14.6 km from the centre and has a dedicated business aviation centre, so most daytime arrivals use itSeletar
Seletar bars flights in those hours, so a late or early arrival lands at ChangiChangi
Changi has the longer runways and takes a maximum-length departure, while Seletar's 1,836 metres is enough for most business jets and Universal puts the limit at a 757Changi
Changi does not admit propeller aircraft, so a King Air or a PC-12 uses SeletarSeletar
Seletar's hangars and its compact parking area, or Johor Bahru, are the places to leave an aircraftSeletar
Seletar is the default for Formula 1 traffic, and Changi is kept for quick drop-offs and pick-upsSeletar
A quick turn at the private terminal beside Terminal 2 suits a passenger changing aircraftChangi
The city, the marina and the aerospace park: what our clients go for
Business drives most of the traffic. The banks, trading houses and regional head offices of the Marina Bay and Raffles Place district are twenty minutes from Seletar, and a charter from London is often timed so that the party arrives the evening before a morning meeting.
Aerospace is the second reason. The Seletar Aerospace Park, around the airfield, houses maintenance and completion hangars, and Jet Aviation's third Singapore hangar there was built to hold two airliner-based business jets or five Gulfstream G550s. An owner whose aircraft is in for work flies in and out of the same field.
Leisure is the third. Sentosa, with its Cove and the ONE°15 marina, Gardens by the Bay and the shops of Orchard Road fill the week of a family trip, and the island is a gateway for those who continue to Bali, Phuket or the Malaysian coast.
Changi's Jewel, the nature-themed complex that links the terminals, draws travellers who stop for a day on their way somewhere else.
Singapore weather: two monsoons and the haze
Singapore is hot and humid all year, and the seasons are defined by the wind and the rain rather than by the thermometer:
The northeast monsoon. December and January are cloudy with frequent afternoon showers, and December is the wettest month on averagewettest
The relatively dry spell at the end of the northeast monsoondrier
The hottest months, with daily highs usually around 33 degrees Celsiushottest
The southwest monsoon, with isolated to scattered showers in the late morning and early afternoon and squall lines from Sumatra in the early morningshowers
Thunderstorms and haze
Thunderstorms are common, slow-moving and strongest in the afternoon and evening, and we plan Changi as the alternate for Seletar. Smoke from agricultural fires in the region is most likely to drift over Singapore during the southwest monsoon, and the air-quality index is published daily. A private flight follows the advisories like any other, with an alternate airport and a fuel margin.
The Singapore calendar: a Grand Prix, an air show and the festivals
The dates that shape demand are these:
What the Grand Prix does to a flight plan
Operators file for the race window weeks ahead, in one published schedule with a final cut-off about ten days before the race weekend. All filings for Changi must name the lead passenger, the company and the reason for the flight. A permit does not guarantee a stand, because the approval and the parking are separate, so the bay is confirmed first and the schedule is not changed afterwards.

Flying to Singapore with a dog or a cat
Singapore treats the United Kingdom as a low-risk country for rabies, and a dog or cat from Britain arrives without the vaccination and blood test that pets from most other countries need. What remains is paperwork with fixed dates, and an entry point that is not obvious for a private aircraft. We obtain written confirmation of the rules before an animal is booked.
What Singapore asks for on the way in
An import licence from the Animal & Veterinary Service, applied for online before arrival, valid for 90 days from issue without extension. The animal must be at least 12 weeks old and carry an ISO microchip, whose number appears in every vaccination and treatment record, and the core vaccinations for dogs (distemper, adenovirus, parvovirus) or cats (calicivirus, herpesvirus, panleukopenia) must be recorded.
Two to seven days before export the animal is treated for external and internal parasites, and the veterinary health certificate is completed by the treating vet and endorsed by the official government vet. An inspection at the border is booked at least five days before arrival, and an animal that arrives without a booking is charged an hourly fee. For a fully compliant animal from the United Kingdom no quarantine is set.
The entry point is the question for a private flight. By air the published point of entry is the animal and plant quarantine station at the Changi Airfreight Centre, and the pages we read do not describe a private aircraft landing at Seletar, so we ask for the clearance details that come with the licence and confirm in writing where the inspection takes place. Some breeds are not admitted at all, among them the pit bull types, the Staffordshire Bull Terrier, the American Bulldog, the Akita, the Boerboel, the Dogo Argentino, the Fila Brasileiro, the Neapolitan Mastiff, the Tosa and the Perro de Presa Canario, together with their crosses, and the first four generations of Bengal and Savannah cats. Housing rules also limit how many animals a household may keep.
The stop in Dubai needs thought. A pet that stays aboard through a country in Singapore's highest-risk category is allowed to transit if a captain's declaration is completed, so we agree in advance how that declaration is signed for a private aircraft.
The way home is straightforward. Singapore is a listed country for Great Britain, so a dog or a cat travels on a Great Britain pet health certificate and needs no blood test. A dog also needs a tapeworm treatment from a vet between 24 and 120 hours before arrival in Britain, which means the treatment is given in Singapore in the last five days of the stay and the departure is planned around it. For a private flight we confirm the entry point and the paperwork for the animal in writing before the flight.
Other destinations, and the general rules for travelling with an animal on a private jet, are set out on our flying with pets guide.

Empty Legs
An empty leg is a flight the operator has to make anyway, with the cabin vacant, so it is priced low rather than flown for nothing. On a route as long as this the saving is large in cash, and the catch is as large.
Why empty legs to Singapore are scarce
– A long-range aircraft that flies a party out usually returns to Europe or the Gulf a few days later, and those homeward legs are the useful ones. They are few, because few parties fly out and back within the same week;
– The aircraft is seldom where you are: a leg from Changi suits a client who can reach Changi and not one who is waiting at Seletar, and the night rules at Seletar rule out a departure after 22:00;
– The permit goes with the date, so a leg that moves by a day can move the permit and the slot, and the Changi slot request needs at least 72 hours.
Clients who offer a window of several days match most often, though a leg can vanish when the original booking changes. Whatever is free is listed on our empty legs page. A selection of Singapore empty legs follows, at roughly 40 percent of a fresh charter:

| UK (Edinburgh) - Singapore (Changi) | Gulfstream G550 | 16 seats | £76,950 |
Reading the empty-leg prices
– The price covers the whole aircraft, not a seat. A Global 6000 from Changi to Manchester with eight aboard comes to about £9,100 a head;
– The cost to you is flexibility: the date, often the hour, sometimes the airport.

Helicopter charter
Helicopter charter in Singapore is a narrow market, because the airspace over the island is tightly managed. All helicopters must either fly over water or follow approved routes, in daylight and in visual conditions, and a transfer from the airport to a hotel roof is not a service we can promise. These are the facts we work from:
two over-water routes: one from the Johor Causeway eastwards along the northern shore and around Pulau Ubin to Bedok Jetty, the other from Bedok Jetty around Sentosa towards Tuas, at a minimum height of 200 feetover water
from the Johor Causeway south to Murnane Reservoir, along the expressway to the west and down to Pandan Reservoir, at 1,500 feet at the lowest and with an air traffic clearance each timeover land
single-engine helicopters are barred from the central area, and any flight outside the routes needs prior permission from the civil aviation authority, which would normally not be given without very good justificationrestricted
the airfield where helicopter work is concentrated: the Airbus helicopter campus stands in the aerospace park, and Kestrel Aero is listed there for helicopter and jet charter and for medical flightsbased
Before you plan around a helicopter
– Daylight only. The routes may be flown only in visual conditions and daylight, so a late jet arrival does not make a helicopter transfer;
– Routes. Because the corridors run along the shore and not into the city, a helicopter in Singapore suits a scenic flight or a link between the two ends of the island more than a door-to-door transfer;
– The next country. For a flight that continues to Malaysia or Indonesia by helicopter, the permits of that country come first, and we confirm them for your date.
We confirm the aircraft, the route and the landing place before we quote, and the helicopter leg is booked together with the rest of the itinerary.

Singapore charters from the booking notes: six typical trips
The six trips below are typical jobs assembled from booking notes with the details changed, so none of them is one named client or one date.
MARINA BAY · THE LOWEST-PRICED WAY IN
A delegation with a week of meetings in the business district
London Biggin Hill - Singapore Seletar, Challenger 605 via Dubai, about 15 h 25 min · 6 pax
They had taken it for granted that only an ultra-long-range jet could reach Singapore. A Challenger 605 flies it with one stop, and the party cleared customs at the Seletar centre and was at the hotel in twenty minutes.
SELETAR · AN OWNER AND HIS AIRCRAFT
A visit to the aerospace park while the family jet was in for work
Manchester - Singapore Seletar, Global 6000 via Dubai, about 14 h 30 min · 9 pax
The owner flew out to see the interior being finished, and the charter landed on the same field as the hangar, so the car ride from the business aviation centre was a few minutes.
RACE WEEKEND · A NIGHT ON THE STREET CIRCUIT
A group going to the Grand Prix
London Luton - Singapore Seletar, Global 6000 via Dubai, about 14 h 20 min · 8 pax
The parking was confirmed with the permit weeks before, and the aircraft left on the Monday as planned. Changi would only have taken a drop-off and a pick-up in that window.
CHANGI · A NIGHT ARRIVAL
A family arriving after the Seletar curfew
Edinburgh - Singapore Changi, Challenger 605 via Dubai, about 15 h 50 min · 7 pax
The aircraft was due after ten in the evening, when Seletar is closed to flights, so the slot was requested at Changi more than 72 hours ahead, and the party went through the private terminal beside Terminal 2.
BALI · A SECOND LEG
Singapore as the first stop of a longer holiday
Southampton - Singapore Seletar, Challenger 605 via Dubai, about 15 h 35 min · 6 pax
After a few days in the city the party took a Citation XLS+ on to Bali, 947 nautical miles for about £15,800 one way, with the Indonesian permit applied for before the first leg was confirmed.
EMPTY LEG · HOMEWARD FROM CHANGI
A flexible return after a long stay
Changi - Manchester, Global 6000 empty leg, about 14 h 30 min · 6 pax
Offering a window of five days in place of a date is what made this one work. The client paid about £72,750, roughly 40 percent of a fresh one-way charter on the same sector, and left when the aircraft was ready to leave.
Frequently asked questions about flying to Singapore
1Can a private jet fly from London to Singapore nonstop?
A Gulfstream G650ER or a Global 7500 can plan it: the 6,086 planned nautical miles to Seletar are about 81 to 82 percent of their rated range, and the flight takes around 12 hours 30 minutes. The operator has to confirm the payload and the take-off performance at the runway in writing. Every other aircraft in our price table stops once, normally in Dubai.
2How long does a private jet take from the UK to Singapore?
About 15 hours 25 minutes from London Biggin Hill in a Challenger 605 with the stop in Dubai, and about 14 hours 30 minutes from Manchester in a Global 6000. The stop is included at about an hour, and Singapore is seven or eight hours ahead of Britain.
3How much does a private jet to Singapore cost?
From about £125,650 one way from London Biggin Hill to Singapore Seletar on a Challenger 605 with a stop in Dubai. Changi costs about £150 more, and a Falcon 900LX to Seletar costs from about £155,950. Handling at the stop, the permit and the handler's fee are quoted on top, and an empty leg costs roughly 40 percent of a fresh charter.
4What do passengers need to enter Singapore on a private flight?
British citizens need no visa for tourism or business, and the length of stay is set by the immigration officer, normally 30 to 90 days. The passport must be valid for at least six months after arrival, and the online SG Arrival Card is completed within three days before arrival. The aircraft needs a permit from the civil aviation authority, filed at least three working days ahead, and a licensed handler on the airport.
5Can my dog or cat travel with me to Singapore on a private jet?
Yes, with an import licence from the Animal & Veterinary Service, an ISO microchip, the core vaccinations, a veterinary health certificate endorsed by the government vet and a border inspection booked at least five days ahead. Dogs and cats from the United Kingdom need no rabies blood test and no quarantine if the paperwork is complete. Some breeds are not admitted. Coming home, Singapore is a listed country, so a Great Britain pet health certificate is enough, plus a tapeworm treatment for a dog.
6Should a private jet use Seletar or Changi?
Seletar suits most daytime business arrivals, with a dedicated business aviation centre and no slots, but it bars flights from 22:00 to 07:00 local time and does not take very large aircraft. Changi works round the clock, has the longer runways and requires a slot requested at least 72 hours ahead, and it does not admit propeller aircraft.
