Private jet charter in Seville
A light jet that leaves a London airfield after breakfast is on the ground in Seville before noon local time, with the whole afternoon still ahead of you. Private Jets UK arranges the charter around whatever the trip is for: a timed entry to the Alcazar, a week of processions or the April Fair, a day among the marshes of Doñana, or a villa on the Costa de la Luz. Our customers have access to 6,500 jets of all types and configurations available for rent. We will help you choose the best option based on your needs and objectives. Our catalog contains the models from the largest manufacturers: Gulfstream, Dassault, Embraer, Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, Learjet, Cessna, Beechcraft, Pilatus, HondaJet, etc. We have established partnerships with the world's largest airlines and VIP terminals, which means we can offer you favourable flight conditions and a high level of service. Our experts will manage the organization of your flight - starting with paperwork, agreements, etc., and ending with a transfer and meeting at the airport. Our company provides a full range of business aviation and concierge services. Seville is one of the easiest Spanish cities to reach by private jet and one of the more demanding to plan around. The runway is 3,364 m long and the airport typically stays open until one in the morning, but every flight from Britain needs a prior slot, a named handler and a passport check in the commercial terminal, and in July the heat becomes a planning item of its own.

At your request, the aviation consultants of Private Jets UK will help you choose the jet with the suitable technical parameters (production year, flight hours, and home base). The cost of the private jet charter in Seville depends on many factors, such as the model of the business jet, the number of passengers, departure and destination airports, type of flight, duration of parking, additional services, etc. Therefore, we calculate the price of each order individually taking into account your wishes. You can use an online calculator to get an instant charter quote. Please indicate your real contact details to get the final calculation.
You can calculate the cost of your flight in several ways:
- using an online calculator on the website (however, it shows only the approximate price);
- via Messenger (WhatsApp or Telegram);
- by landline or cell phone;
- via e-mail (jets@private-jets.co.uk).
Please note that the above-mentioned price is indicative only. It is calculated on this basis: a departure from London Farnborough, a Cessna Citation CJ3+ and two passengers aboard. If you want to get a personal quote, just fill out the online booking form below. Our aviation consultant will make the calculation within 20 minutes, and then contact you to specify the details of the flight.
How long does it take to fly to Seville?
Roughly 2 h 40 min from Farnborough in a light jet, a little more from the Midlands and the north of England, and 3 h 05 min from Edinburgh or Glasgow in a Challenger. Spain keeps Central European time, one hour ahead of Britain, so the time on the arrivals board looks an hour later than the flight itself would suggest. At 869 to 1,162 nautical miles this is a long sector for a light jet, but a Phenom or a Citation flies it without a stop and without any need for a technical halt. The table gives the sector from each British field we use.

Door to door, and the clock on the wall
Leave Farnborough at eight in the morning and you land at San Pablo just before noon local time. The airport lies about 10 km north-east of the centre, and a private car with a driver normally takes 20 to 25 minutes to reach the old town. Allow for the passport check in the commercial terminal, which the handler escorts you through and which typically takes five to ten minutes, and central London to a lunch table in Santa Cruz comes to about four and a half hours. The Alcazar and the Cathedral are then a short walk away, which is what makes a one-night visit work.
Light jet or midsize: the question that comes up on this route
– Up to four people with ordinary bags, a light jet is the right answer. At about 2 h 40 min a CJ3+ or a Phenom is comfortable, and the saving over a midsize cabin is about £2,900 each way from Farnborough;
– Luggage is the usual reason to step up. Golf bags for a week on the Costa de la Luz, formal clothes for a feria party and a family's holiday cases fill the hold of a light jet before the seats are full, and this is where we quote a midsize aircraft beside the light one so both figures are on the table;
– Heavy aircraft earn their place when the party is large, when the same jet stays with you for a tour of Andalusia, or when Seville is only one stop on a longer trip. Remember that code D and E types are restricted to certain taxiways and need approval in advance, and that code F aircraft are not accepted without explicit permission from the airport.

Seville as a base for the south, the coast and the islands
Granada is 106 nautical miles from Seville and Malaga 83, which is why we do not price flights between them: Malaga airport is about 194 km away by road and Granada roughly 250 km, each around two and a half hours, and once the handling at both ends and the transfers are counted a car with a driver is competitive with any aircraft. The air sectors that make sense start further out. Madrid and Lisbon are short light-jet hops that cost the same figure, because sectors this short are billed against a minimum rather than by the mile. Ibiza (1 h 50 min) and Palma (2 h 10 min) are a Pilatus PC-12 sector, the aircraft we usually quote for the sea crossing because a jet cannot match its price on so short a leg. Marrakech is a Phenom sector of 1 h 20 min, with the border formalities of the destination on top. The Balearic peak runs from May to October.
Before you accept an onward quote from Seville
– Whether the departure time fits the airport. San Pablo typically closes at one in the morning, and a late dinner on the Feria grounds or an evening in Triana can run into it. We check the planned departure against the published hours before we send a price;
– Whether the itinerary is one booking. Seville to Lisbon to Ibiza over a long weekend costs noticeably less arranged as a single trip, because the aircraft and crew stay with you instead of repositioning to Andalusia between each stop. Parking at Seville is the thing to ask about, since a jet cannot always stay on the apron overnight in the busy weeks.
Prices depending on the type of business jet
We can clearly show the high dependence of the cost of the flight, on the type of aircraft - we have collected approximate data, at the price of 1 flight hour, for various types of business jets:

The cost per hour indicated in the table is preliminary and does not constitute an offer or a commercial offer. Exact prices are available from the managers of the company.
Online Calculator
If you want to make an urgent calculation of the cost of a private plane flight, use our online calculator. Just fill in all the fields of the form with a note that you are interested in a specific model of the aircraft and get the final price. NB! - the figures are sent to you by email or messenger, please carefully fill in the contact details to get the calculation.
All our calculations are as transparent as possible for you. After receiving the request, we will prepare a beautiful offer - where the costs and the final price will be clearly described. The exact price is agreed in advance and is written in the contract, so you can be sure of the final cost.
Private jets are ready to take off
Our database contains over 6,500 business jets (about 3,500 in Europe and 3,000 in the rest of the world) of different configurations and production years. The list of models is constantly updated. Unfortunately, we can't post a full list of available jets on our website due to confidentiality issues. Please contact the managers of the company for more accurate information. We will help you choose a suitable model taking into account your wishes. These are the typical choices for Seville:
Light jets, and where most bookings land
At around two and three-quarter hours this is still the sensible class for four or five people with ordinary luggage. Every aircraft here has the range for Seville from Britain without a stop, so the money goes on the flying hour and not on capability you will not use.
Midsize, for golf bags and family luggage
Golf clubs, formal clothes for the feria and a family's holiday cases are what push a party past the light-jet hold. A midsize cabin also lets you stand up and work on a sector of this length.
Super-midsize and large
For a delegation travelling as one party, for a team that needs to work in the air, and for itineraries that carry on from Seville to Lisbon, Marrakech or beyond without turning round. Large types need advance approval at Seville, and the biggest are not accepted without explicit permission.
Turboprops
The right aircraft for the Balearic crossings and for the shorter Iberian legs: Ibiza and Palma are 1 h 50 min and 2 h 10 min in a turboprop, and the saving over a jet on that distance is large.
Helicopters
Not for the flight from Britain but for the last stretch: a country estate, a coastal villa, or a day on the Costa de la Luz. A helicopter cannot land just anywhere in Spain, so the landing site is agreed before the quote.

This is a small part of what is available. The aircraft for a Seville booking often start from Malaga, Madrid or Lisbon rather than from Seville itself, so for a date that does not fall on a holiday week we can usually find one within an hour or two of the airport, and that is often where the better price comes from.

Business aviation airports in Seville
One airport is the natural landing, and three more are worth knowing before a quote arrives with one of them in it. Seville's own field is long, well equipped and open late, so the question is less about whether it works than about parking, handling and what the coast needs.
| Airport | What it gives you |
|---|---|
| Seville San Pablo SVQ / LEZL |
The first choice for the city, the Cathedral and the Alcazar. It lies about 10 km north-east of the centre, is run by Aena and stands at 34 m above sea level. The single runway 09/27 is 3,364 m by 45 m in asphalt, with a category I instrument landing system at both ends, so there is no preferred direction and a heavy jet will not be short of tarmac. Fire cover is category 7 as standard, with category 8 or 9 on request for larger aircraft, which has to be asked for at least 15 days ahead. Jet A-1 is supplied by Exolum and SLCA. There is no hangar space for visiting aircraft and no de-icing, which matters little in this climate. Three firms are listed for executive handling, each with a 24-hour contact: Aviapartner Spain (Aviavip), United Aviation Services and Universal Aviation Spain. A maintenance organisation approved under EASA Part 145 works on the airfield. There is no stand-alone FBO building: private aircraft park on the general aviation apron, crew and passenger lounges are arranged through the handler, and passport control takes place in the commercial terminal |
| Jerez XRY / LEJR |
The coastal alternative. The airport is about 9 km north-east of Jerez de la Frontera, run by Aena, with a single asphalt runway 02/20 of 2,300 m, and Cadiz lies about 45 km from it. It is about 100 km from Seville airport by road, roughly 1 h 10 min on the motorway, and a railway station at the airport has trains to Seville and Cadiz. We use it when the trip is really the sherry triangle, Sanlucar or the Costa de la Luz, or when Seville is full, with the Jerez hours confirmed first. Customs and handling at Jerez are confirmed with the operator before we plan on it |
| Malaga Costa del Sol AGP / LEMG |
The bigger fallback and the better landing for Sotogrande, Marbella or a trip that continues down the coast. About 8 km south-west of Malaga, with a 3,200 m runway and a second runway of 2,750 m, and a separate general aviation terminal beside the N-340 in what was formerly the main terminal. It is 83 nautical miles from Seville by air and about 194 km by road, around 2 h 30 min, so it is an alternative for a tour and not a quick swap for Seville |
| Cordoba ODB / LEBA |
A small Aena airfield about 6 km from the city of Cordoba, with a single asphalt runway of a little over 2 km. Most of its traffic is general aviation and its scheduled flights are few. We treat it as a domestic stop on an Andalusian tour and not as the point of entry from Britain, because the border post and the handling have to be confirmed first. The city is about 120 km from Seville, 1 h 30 min by road and about 45 minutes on the high-speed train |
| Huelva and Faro FAO / LPFR |
Huelva has no operating airport; a private project near Gibraleon exists only as a proposal. For Huelva, Matalascañas and the west side of Doñana the aircraft lands at Seville, about 104 km from the airport to the city of Huelva. Faro in Portugal is about 210 km from Seville airport, roughly 2 h 10 min by road, and is worth considering only when the trip is really about the Algarve |
Four points settle most Seville arrivals:
Choose the handler
Handling is mandatory for general aviation and air taxi flights at Seville, with the exception of based aircraft. The handler is named in item 18 of the flight plan, and passengers and crew stay on board until the handler arrives. Three firms share the apron, so we ask the operator for its preference and tell you who will meet you.
Hours and the slot
The published hours are 06:30 to 01:00 local time, converted from the UTC times in the airport notice and confirmed for your date, and customs, immigration and handling are listed to the same hours. Any general aviation flight to or from a point outside Spain needs a prior slot, a PPR, requested from the airport operations centre, and the PPR number goes into item 18 together with the handler. A flight without one is not accepted.
Border and passport
Spain is in Schengen and Britain is not, so you are checked on arrival. The check is carried out in the commercial terminal and not at the aircraft; the handler walks you through, and airport charges for the procedure are billed per passenger. Meeters are not allowed on the ramp.
Parking, permits and heat
Visiting aircraft cannot count on a hangar or on long-stay parking, and the apron gets tight in April, July and August. An operator whose aircraft is registered outside the EU also needs a landing permit from the Spanish authorities for a commercial charter, which can take around 11 working days, longer in April and November. We choose the aircraft and file early for those months.

Border, passport and the way home
Arrival at Seville is straightforward and your handler arranges it. British passports must have been issued less than ten years before the date of entry and must remain valid for at least three months after the day you plan to leave the Schengen area. A visa is not needed for up to 90 days in any 180, and the Entry/Exit System can ask for a photograph and fingerprints on the first entry. Border control may also ask for a return ticket, proof of funds and a hotel booking or an address, which for a charter passenger is a matter of having the confirmation to hand.
The part that deserves attention is the flight home. Britain is outside Schengen, so on arrival at the British airport passengers pass passport control as well as customs. A private flight must be notified in advance by a General Aviation Report, filed not earlier than 48 hours and not later than 2 hours before departure, and the penalties are real: £2,500 for a first landing at a non-regulated aerodrome and £2,000 per passenger without permission. We file this for you and name the airfield on the booking, so nothing is left to the day.

From the apron to the Alcazar
Seville is a big city with a small centre. From the airport the old town is a short drive, the principal monuments sit within a few minutes' walk of one another, and the distances that matter are the ones that run outward: to Jerez and Cadiz, to Huelva and Doñana, and to the other Andalusian airports.

Flying to Seville with a dog or a cat
Spain is among the easier destinations to fly with an animal, and the flight is short enough that most pets sleep through it. The animal sits beside you in the cabin and not in a hold. What matters is the paperwork, and above all the dates on it, because the health certificate has a ten-day life from the day it is issued.

What Spain asks for on the way in:
- An ISO microchip, fitted before the rabies vaccination or on the same day, never after it;
- A rabies vaccination given when the animal was at least 12 weeks old, with 21 days elapsed before entry;
- An Animal Health Certificate from an Official Veterinarian, valid for ten days for entry to the EU and also used for the return to Britain as stated on the certificate;
- No more than five animals per traveller, presented at a travellers' point of entry, which our handler arranges at the airport;
- A British pet passport is not accepted for entry to the EU, so a fresh certificate is needed for every trip.
The return to Britain, and what catches owners out
– Dogs need a tapeworm treatment from a vet between 24 and 120 hours before arrival in Britain, recorded with the product, date and time. Cats do not. In Seville that means a vet appointment on the last full day of the stay, and not something to do before leaving;
– A pet travel document and a declaration go with the animal. Rules for animals that do not meet them can mean quarantine of up to four months, and we check every document before the aircraft is booked;
– Summer changes the practical side. Passengers and crew wait on board until the handler arrives, and the apron in July can be well above 35 degrees, so we ask for ground power and air conditioning to be running on arrival. A private flight into Britain has no published approved-route text of its own for pets, so we confirm the entry point and the paperwork for the animal in writing before the flight.
Requirements for cats, ferrets, birds and anything less usual are collected on our flying with pets guide, and our managers confirm the position in writing for your dates before a booking is taken. Not every hotel in Santa Cruz or Triana takes animals, and a villa on the coast or an estate near Doñana has its own rules, so check these before you pick the dates.
The Seville calendar: Holy Week, the April Fair and the long summer
Seville has two weeks that overwhelm everything else and a handful of smaller ones that quietly fill the hotels and the apron. Both big weeks are tied to Easter, so choose the week before you choose the aircraft.
Why the busy weeks cost more
Not the flying. Aircraft for Seville are positioned in from elsewhere, so a busy week means fewer to choose from, and the airport itself is the limit: parking is hard to find in April, July and August, and a permit request for a non-EU aircraft takes longer in April and November. What gets tight in the city is the hotel and the Alcazar slot. Entry to the Real Alcazar is by timed half-hour slot and the popular days sell out, so a client who has not secured one should do so before the aircraft is booked, not after. Outside Holy Week, the April Fair and the Bienal, Seville is among the easier Spanish airports to charter into, and a flight can often be arranged in a few days, with the PPR slot requested through the handler. In midsummer the city is very hot and trade thins out.
Visiting the Alcazar and the Cathedral: what a private client needs to know
The monuments are the reason most people fly here, and the one thing a charter cannot buy. The Real Alcazar sells tickets through its own website, which the palace describes as the only official and authorised seller, and a visitor chooses a day and a half-hour slot. The palace is open daily apart from a few holidays such as 1 and 6 January, from 09:30 to 19:00 between April and September and from 09:30 to 17:00 from October to March. The upper rooms of the royal quarters are a separate ticket with a small number of slots a day, and on some warm evenings the palace runs theatrical night visits. The Alcazar was a filming location for Game of Thrones, which brings some guests with a particular courtyard in mind.
The Cathedral, one of the largest Gothic cathedrals in the world, and the Giralda tower next to it work differently: a ticket carries an access time, the visit begins at the Giralda and takes around 75 minutes, and the Cathedral advises buying online. Monday to Saturday it opens in the late morning and closes at 19:00; on Sundays it opens in the afternoon only, and its hours can change for services and events. Because slots are fixed and the aircraft is not, we plan the landing around the first entry time and keep a buffer of at least two hours between touchdown and the slot, which the 20 to 25 minute drive comfortably allows.
Beyond the city: Doñana, the Costa de la Luz and Sotogrande
Three trips start from the Seville apron more often than any others, and each has its own logic about which airport is right.
Where the aircraft lands for each of them
– Doñana. The national park lies on the Guadalquivir estuary in the provinces of Huelva, Seville and Cadiz, and covers about 54,000 hectares of marshes, dunes and pine woods with more than 400 bird species, the Iberian lynx and the Spanish imperial eagle. It is a World Heritage Site. Cars are banned inside it, full access to the ecosystem is by a booked guided tour, and a 4x4 or a boat on the river is the usual way in. Seville is the airport, and the park is a day out from the city;
– The Costa de la Luz. The long Atlantic beaches of Cadiz province, Sanlucar and the sherry towns are closer to Jerez, which is about 100 km from Seville airport and 45 km from Cadiz. We land at Seville when the programme includes the city first, and at Jerez when the coast is the point;
– Sotogrande. The estate lies near San Roque, about 25 km north-east of Gibraltar, has five golf courses including Valderrama and a marina, and is about 210 km and a little over two hours from Seville airport. Malaga is the airport we normally choose for it, and Gibraltar is the nearest, though its 1,776 m runway is exposed to strong crosswinds and limits which aircraft can use it. Seville makes sense only when the guests want the city on the same trip.
Ways to bring the Seville price down
- Move the dates a few days where you can. The weeks after the April Fair, January and early March are calmer, and a Tuesday to Thursday trip costs less than a weekend one in April;
- Ask where the aircraft is based. A jet already in Malaga, Madrid or Lisbon needs less positioning than one coming from Britain, and on a sector of this length positioning is a meaningful share of the bill;
- Take the light jet unless the luggage says otherwise. Four people and four bags do not need a midsize, and the money saved buys the hotel and the car;
- Book Seville and the onward sector as one trip, because a single booking keeps the crew with you and avoids a second positioning flight.
Types of flights
Seville produces a different mix from the resort destinations we cover. It is a regional capital, a heritage city and an industrial one at once, and the bookings reflect it.
- Heritage weekends, built around a timed slot at the Alcazar, a dinner in Santa Cruz and an evening of flamenco in Triana;
- Holy Week and April Fair trips, planned around the processions or an invitation to a caseta, with the hotel booked months ahead;
- Business trips: the airport grounds hold an Airbus factory and a maintenance centre, and the city has a large aerospace and technology park, so some flights are made for site visits and meetings that finish the same afternoon;
- Andalusian tours that connect Seville with Granada, Cordoba, Malaga and the coast by air or by car;
- Day trips from London, which at about two hours forty each way are a long day but a workable one if the Alcazar slot is in the morning.
The day trip deserves a closer look. A same-day return means the aircraft and crew wait for you rather than going home, and that waiting is paid for, but it still comes out cheaper than two separate one-way charters. Seville helps here: the airport is typically open until one in the morning, so an evening departure after a late dinner is possible, and we plan it well inside the closing time so that a long evening does not decide the outcome. Parking for the wait is the thing to confirm in the busy months.
Empty Legs
An empty leg is a repositioning flight with nobody aboard, offered at a fraction of the usual price. On the Seville route they come from the pattern of events and not from sheer volume, and it helps to know what produces them.
Where Seville empty legs come from
– Holy Week and the April Fair. A party flies in, the jet goes back to its base or on to the next job without anyone aboard, and the repositioning leg is released a day or two beforehand;
– Golf and coast weekends. Aircraft that took a party to Sotogrande or the Costa de la Luz and come back through Seville produce short Andalusian legs that can be cheap;
– Summer rotation. Operators moving aircraft between Seville, Malaga, Lisbon and the islands in late spring and summer release short sectors that are worth watching.
Because the Seville corridor is thinner than the busiest London routes, a client who can name a few days rather than one has a far better chance than one who needs a particular evening. What you give up is the usual: the operator owns the date and the hour, and a leg can vanish when the original booking moves. Whatever is free is listed on our empty legs page, and we flag a Seville match the day an operator releases it.

Helicopter charter
In Seville a helicopter is a tool for the edges of a trip, not the middle. The old town is compact, the Alcazar is a walk or a short taxi from the hotel, and the journeys where rotary flight changes the day are the ones to the coast, to the estates in the countryside and to a villa with its own lawn.
the airport notice names the runway as the landing area and a helicopter needs air traffic control authorisation, as a fixed-wing aircraft doescoordinated by the handler
the Atlantic coast of Cadiz province, for a villa or a marinaon request
in the Guadalquivir valley, subject to an authorised landing siteon request
the golf and marina estate about 210 km from Seville, for the last stretch from Malaga or Gibraltaron request
by arrangement with the operator, with a route that avoids the airport zoneon request
Before you plan around a helicopter
– A helicopter in Spain cannot land wherever it likes. A hotel roof, a private estate or a field near a protected area needs its status confirmed before we quote, not after, and we do not promise a site until the operator has accepted it. The same goes for flying over Doñana: we do not assume that a flight over the park is allowed;
– Heat sets the schedule. On a very hot afternoon the performance of a helicopter falls, so a transfer in July is planned for the morning or the evening, with a road alternative arranged for the same day;
– For Holy Week, the April Fair and the Bienal, book the helicopter together with the jet or expect to be told there is no rotary capacity.
The machines used in this region are the Airbus H125 for short coastal and estate work, the wider H130 for scenic and villa transfers, the Bell 429 where a twin is wanted, and the H155 for larger parties. We book them alongside the jet so that both crews work to one timetable.

Seville charters from the booking notes: six typical trips
What the corridor looks like once a quote turns into a flight. Six typical jobs of the kind that come through our booking notes, described in outline, with the particulars changed.
ALCAZAR · THE TIMED SLOT
A morning slot at the Alcazar and an evening flight home
Farnborough - Seville and return, Citation CJ3+, about 2 h 40 min each way · 3 pax
The clients bought the Alcazar slot first and the aircraft second. Wheels up at eight, on the ground just before noon local time and at the Alcazar entrance with a margin in hand. The jet waited on the general aviation apron and left in the evening, well before the airport closed.
APRIL FAIR · THE PARKING PROBLEM
Four guests, three nights and a full apron
London Luton - Seville, Phenom 300E, 2 h 35 min · 4 pax
The party first asked for the jet to stay in Seville for the three nights. Parking for a long stay is the difficult part in April, so the operator priced moving the empty aircraft to another Andalusian field and bringing it back for the Sunday departure, with Jerez the first to check because its parking and hours are confirmed separately. The slot for each movement was requested through the handler, and the quote showed the positioning flights separately.
GOLF · THE AIRPORT THAT FITS
Four golfers who first asked about Seville
Biggin Hill - Malaga, Citation XLS+, 2 h 40 min · 4 pax
The destination was Sotogrande, which is more than two hours by road from Seville and far closer to Malaga. The clients had assumed Seville because it was the name they knew. We quoted both, they chose Malaga, and the shorter road leg left room in the budget for the midsize cabin that four sets of clubs needed.
AUTUMN · A DOG ON BOARD
Two adults, a teenager and a spaniel in October
Biggin Hill - Seville, Citation CJ3+, about 2 h 40 min · 3 pax + dog
The Animal Health Certificate had to be dated inside ten days of arrival, and the vet appointment in Seville for the tapeworm treatment had to fall between 24 and 120 hours before the flight home. The hotel was checked for animals before the aircraft was booked. The dog took the cabin in its stride.
MOROCCO · ACROSS THE STRAIT
From the Alcazar to a weekend in Marrakech
Seville - Marrakech, Phenom 300E, one leg of a four-day trip · 5 pax
The clients flew in from Britain on a light jet, spent two days in Seville and moved on to Morocco on the Saturday. Holding the Seville leg and the Marrakech leg as one booking meant the aircraft and crew were already in place, and the Moroccan formalities were arranged by the handler at the other end.
EMPTY LEG · SUNDAY EVENING NORTH
A jet already going your way
Seville - London Luton, Phenom 300E empty leg, about 2 h 35 min · 3 pax
The aircraft had brought a Holy Week party in and was going home empty. The client gave us a three-day window instead of a date, which is what makes these work, and paid well below a fresh one-way charter for a Sunday evening departure to the London fields.
Frequently asked questions about flying to Seville
1How long is a private jet flight from London to Seville?
About 2 h 35 min to 2 h 45 min from Southampton, Farnborough, Biggin Hill or London City in a light jet, covering roughly 869 to 918 nautical miles. From Birmingham or Manchester in a midsize Citation allow about 2 h 45 min to 2 h 50 min, and from Edinburgh or Glasgow around 3 h 05 min in a Challenger. Seville is one hour ahead of Britain, so a morning departure lands later on the clock than in the air.
2How much does a private jet to Seville cost?
From about £11,850 one way on a light jet out of Southampton and £12,150 from Farnborough. A Phenom 300E runs £12,000 to £12,600 from Cardiff, Bristol and Luton, a midsize Citation XLS+ £15,950 to £16,700 from Birmingham and Manchester, and from Scotland allow about £23,450. Holy Week, the April Fair and the flamenco biennial run above these figures.
3Which airport should a private jet use for Seville?
Seville San Pablo (SVQ / LEZL) for almost every trip. It is about 10 km north-east of the centre, has a 3,364 m runway, is typically open from 06:30 to 01:00 local time, and handling and a prior slot are compulsory for flights from Britain. Jerez (XRY / LEJR) is the alternative for the Cadiz coast, and Malaga (AGP / LEMG) the usual choice for Sotogrande and the Costa del Sol.
4When should I book a private jet to Seville?
Outside the peaks a few days is usually enough, because the handler requests the prior slot. For the Alcazar, buy the timed ticket first, since the popular days sell out. Allow several weeks for Holy Week and the April Fair, when parking is short, and longer if the aircraft is registered outside the EU, since the landing permit can take around 11 working days.
5Can I fly to Seville for the April Fair or Holy Week?
Yes, and both are among the busiest weeks of the year. Holy Week runs from Palm Sunday to Easter Sunday, and the April Fair starts two weeks after it and lasts from Monday night to Sunday. Hotels, aircraft and parking all tighten, so we book early and discuss where the jet waits. Parking at Jerez is one option we would check, subject to its own parking and hours.
6Can I take my dog to Seville on a private jet?
Yes. The dog travels in the cabin with you, and Spain asks for a microchip, a rabies vaccination at least 21 days old, and an Animal Health Certificate valid for ten days for entry. For the return to Britain a dog needs a tapeworm treatment from a vet between 24 and 120 hours before arrival. Cats are exempt from the treatment.
