Private jet charter in Phuket
A charter to Phuket starts in a London hangar and ends on the far side of the Indian subcontinent, eleven to thirteen hours later, and almost everything that can go wrong is settled on paper days before the jet moves. Private Jets UK plans the whole chain, from the first quote to the car waiting by the aircraft door. Our customers have access to 6,500 jets of all types and configurations available for rent. We will help you choose the best option based on your needs and objectives. Our catalog contains the models from the largest manufacturers: Gulfstream, Dassault, Embraer, Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, Learjet, Cessna, Beechcraft, Pilatus, HondaJet, etc. We have established partnerships with the world's largest airlines and VIP terminals, which means we can offer you favourable flight conditions and a high level of service. Our experts will manage the organization of your flight - starting with paperwork, agreements, etc., and ending with a transfer and meeting at the airport. Our company provides a full range of business aviation and concierge services. Phuket is an island with one big airport, a runway of 3,000 m that never closes and a private jet terminal of its own. The questions that need an early answer are the permit, the slot and the season.

At your request, the aviation consultants of Private Jets UK will help you choose the jet with the suitable technical parameters (production year, flight hours, and home base). The cost of the private jet charter in Phuket depends on many factors, such as the model of the business jet, the number of passengers, departure and destination airports, type of flight, duration of parking, additional services, etc. Therefore, we calculate the price of each order individually taking into account your wishes. You can use an online calculator to get an instant charter quote. Please indicate your real contact details to get the final calculation.
You can calculate the cost of your flight in several ways:
- using an online calculator on the website (however, it shows only the approximate price);
- via Messenger (WhatsApp or Telegram);
- by landline or cell phone;
- via e-mail (jets@private-jets.co.uk).
Please note that the above-mentioned price is indicative only. It is calculated on this basis: a departure from Biggin Hill, a Bombardier Global 6000 with a stop in the Gulf and two passengers aboard. If you want to get a personal quote, just fill out the online booking form below. Our aviation consultant will make the calculation within 20 minutes, and then contact you to specify the details of the flight.
How long does it take to fly to Phuket?
About 12 h 55 min from Biggin Hill in a Global 6000 with one stop in the Gulf, and a little over thirteen hours from Glasgow. A nonstop flight in an ultra-long-range jet takes about 11 h 25 min. The straight line from London is roughly 5,544 nautical miles, which is more than nine tenths of what a Global 6000 can fly (about 6,000 nm), and that is too thin a margin for reserves, weather and a full cabin, so the standard plan splits the sector. Dubai is a convenient place to break it: about 3,067 nm from Biggin Hill, then 2,767 nm on to Phuket, which adds only about 290 nm to the direct line. The stop is not fixed. A Gulf airport or an airport in India can serve equally well, and the overflown countries are chosen by the operator's flight planners, with a permit for each. The times in the table include about an hour on the ground at the stop.

Door to door, and the clock on the wall
Thailand keeps one time all year, six hours ahead of Britain in summer and seven in winter. Take off from Biggin Hill at nine in the evening and the Global 6000 lands in Phuket in the middle of the afternoon of the next day, local time, in time for dinner and a long first night. Take off at nine in the morning and the arrival is in the small hours, when the airport itself works but the arrival formalities and the car transfer are slower to arrange and the pet inspection office is shut. The airport is at the northern tip of the island, about 32 km from Phuket Town, and Surin or Kamala is 45 to 50 minutes away by road. Count the drive to the British airfield, the stop and the formalities and the journey from central London to a Phuket villa takes roughly sixteen hours.
Stop or nonstop, and who flies it
– The range. A Global 6000 is rated at about 6,000 nm, a Gulfstream G550 at 6,750, a G650ER at 7,500 and a Global 7500 at 7,700. The 5,544 nm from Biggin Hill leaves a Global 6000 a margin of under 500 nm, so it takes the stop; the two ultra-long-range jets have a margin of about 2,000 nm and can plan a single leg;
– The price of the choice. A G650ER flying nonstop from Biggin Hill is £176,150 one way, a Global 7500 £189,850, and a Global 6000 with a stop in the Gulf £156,900. The stop saves money and costs about an hour and a half, and the larger jets buy the whole day back;
– The crew. Twelve hours in the air and more on the clock is a long duty period for one crew. Ask whether the quote includes a second crew or a rest at the stop, and ask where the aircraft will wait in Phuket, because parking there is limited and an aircraft that does not stay may fly out empty and return for you.

The figures are one-way and cover the aircraft, crew, fuel, the stop and the positioning flight home, which on a route this long is a large part of the bill. Landing, parking and handling charges, the permits, catering and the fees at the stop are quoted on top once the dates are fixed. A Global 6000 with a stop starts at £156,900 from Biggin Hill and London City, £157,450 from Luton, £159,750 from Manchester and £162,450 from Glasgow. There is no light-jet or midsize price on this page, because a Citation XLS+ with a range of roughly 2,100 nm would need two or three stops, each with its own permit, and a quote that offers one should say where it lands.

Hopping around Thailand: who may fly it
Cabotage rules apply to private and charter flights in Thailand and are strictly enforced, according to a handling company's briefing, so a jet that has flown in from Britain does not simply carry the same party on from Phuket to Krabi or Koh Samui. Internal sectors are normally a job for a Thai-registered operator, and the numbers of crew and passengers on each leg have to match the permit. The three Thai sectors in the table are priced for comparison: Krabi is only 42 nautical miles away, Koh Samui 140 nm, Bangkok 388 nm. The sectors to Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Hong Kong, Bali and the Maldives are international, follow the normal permit routine and can be flown by the aircraft that brought you.
Before you accept an onward quote
– Who operates it. If a quote for a leg inside Thailand comes from the same company as the long-haul flight, ask which Thai operator flies it and whether its permit is in place;
– Whether it is one trip. Phuket, then Singapore, then home is cheaper arranged as a single itinerary, with the long-haul aircraft waiting or flying the loop, than as separate bookings. Say so at the start, because every landing needs a permit and the lead time is counted in working days.
Prices depending on the type of business jet
We can clearly show the high dependence of the cost of the flight, on the type of aircraft - we have collected approximate data, at the price of 1 flight hour, for various types of business jets:

The cost per hour indicated in the table is preliminary and does not constitute an offer or a commercial offer. Exact prices are available from the managers of the company.

Private jets are ready to take off
Our database contains over 6,500 business jets (about 3,500 in Europe and 3,000 in the rest of the world) of different configurations and production years. The list of models is constantly updated. Unfortunately, we can't post a full list of available jets on our website due to confidentiality issues. Please contact the managers of the company for more accurate information. We will help you choose a suitable model taking into account your wishes. These are the typical choices for Phuket:
Long-range jets, the working class for this route
London to Phuket in two legs sits comfortably inside their range. Choose by cabin: the Global 6000 for up to thirteen guests, the Gulfstream G550 when the party is larger or the margin matters more than the rate.
Ultra-long-range, for a nonstop plan
They cover the whole route with about 2,000 nm to spare and spare you the stop. We still check winds, reserves and payload before promising a single leg, and the hourly rate is higher.
Regional jets, for the sectors out of Phuket
The right size for Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Hong Kong, Bali and the Maldives once you are in the region. They do not fly from Britain.
Turboprops
The aircraft for short runs such as Krabi, flown by a Thai operator. Short sectors and a small price.
Helicopters
Not for the flight from Britain. On the island a helicopter is a sightseeing and transfer tool for Phang Nga Bay and the Phi Phi islands, in daylight, booked ahead and agreed with the operator and the landing site.

This is a small part of what is available. A long-range jet is rarely waiting in Phuket, so a charter normally starts with an aircraft positioned from Europe, the Gulf or elsewhere in Asia, and the price is built from the London leg and not from a local base. A jet returning empty from a drop-off in Singapore, Hong Kong or the Maldives is the opening for a better price, and we look for it on every enquiry.

Business aviation airports in Phuket
Phuket island has one airport that matters, and two other airports on the mainland are where clients go when the beach is in Krabi or on Koh Samui. A quote that names anything other than Phuket International should say why.
| Airport | What it gives you |
|---|---|
| Phuket International HKT / VTSP |
The airport for every private jet that lands on the island. It stands at Mai Khao in the north, about 32 km from Phuket Town, with a single asphalt runway of 3,000 m. The aerodrome operator, customs, immigration, fuelling, handling and security are all listed as open round the clock. Jet A-1 is supplied by PTT, and the ground handler for the airport is AOT Ground Aviation Services. Apron E is for private aircraft only, with remote and overnight parking. A private jet must have a ground handling agent, and the Siam Land Private Jet Terminal, described as a 1,200 square metre terminal with VIP lounges and its own customs and immigration, serves the private side. Line maintenance is arranged with local operators |
| Krabi International KBV / VTSG |
On the mainland, 10 km north-east of Krabi town and about 42 nm from Phuket in the air. The runway is 3,000 m long, and the aerodrome is open round the clock. Customs and immigration are listed from 08:30 to 16:30 Thai time or on demand, and handling is described as on request, with no named handler in the official data. It is the choice for Ao Nang, Railay and the southern Andaman islands, and the road transfer from Phuket takes much longer than the flight |
| Koh Samui USM / VTSM |
About 140 nm across the peninsula on the Gulf of Thailand side, operated by Bangkok Airways. The runway is 2,100 m, with landing distances of 1,660 to 1,825 m, and the airport is open from about 06:00 to 22:00 Thai time. Noise rules ban the oldest jets and restrict marginally compliant ones in the evening and the night. Handling is by Bangkok Airways Ground Services. Suited to light and midsize jets, and we check the aircraft's performance for the runway before a quote |
| Bangkok, Don Mueang and Suvarnabhumi DMK / VTBD, BKK / VTBS |
The capital is a separate trip, not an alternative to the beach. A handling company's briefing says slots must be obtained before a landing permit is issued, and that general aviation to Suvarnabhumi is permitted only for passengers with confirmed connecting scheduled flights. Don Mueang is the usual field for business jets. We plan Bangkok when a meeting is on the programme |
| The Gulf stop, usually Dubai DXB / OMDB, DWC / OMDW |
Where we plan the fuel stop on the way out and the way back, about 2,767 nm from Phuket. Two airports are available at Dubai, and which one we use depends on the handler, the slot and the aircraft. An airport in India or elsewhere in the Gulf can take its place. The stop adds about an hour on the ground, which the flying times in the tables above already include |
Four points settle most Phuket arrivals:
Choose the handler
The airport requires a ground handling agent for every private jet. The Siam Land terminal is the natural address on the private side, and other handling companies serve the same apron. Each has its own fees and its own idea of where passengers clear immigration, the private terminal or the main terminal, so we ask which one the quote assumes and tell the driver the gate.
Hours, slots and parking
The airport never closes, but it is slot-controlled: a private flight departs inside the slot approved by the committee, and early or late running of up to two hours is accepted if the change is notified. Overnight parking on Apron E needs three working days' notice to the airport operator. A handler's guide limits parking to 48 hours before an aircraft goes into a hangar or elsewhere, and in the high season only a short drop-and-go may be permitted.
Entry and permits
The Thai aviation authority approves non-scheduled flights through its permit system, at least three working days ahead according to the official data, and handlers advise ten working days or more for private flights and two weeks of notice for the whole job. Passengers register on the Thailand Digital Arrival Card within three days before landing. Visa-free entry for British citizens is for tourism and for a limited stay, and business travel needs the right visa.
Cars and the road
Phuket airport is in the north, and the road south is slow. Surin and Kamala on the north-west coast are between 25 and 30 km away; Patong and Karon are around 40 to 45 km; Kata is about 50 km, and the evening and the high season add to every time. Book the car with the flight and give the driver the gate and the handler.

Border, passport and permits
Thailand works to a permit calendar. Every non-scheduled flight needs prior approval from the aviation authority, applied for by the operator with the schedule, the purpose, the crew and passenger details and a business contact, and a general purpose such as "business flight" is not accepted. The official data gives three working days; a handling company's briefing gives ten for a private flight and fifteen for a charter, with permits often obtained in two to three days once the slot is confirmed. A permit is valid for 24 hours either side of the time stated, and a change of origin, airport, route or passenger numbers means a revised permit. The office does not work at weekends, so a Friday afternoon request waits until Monday. At Phuket the slot comes first and the permit after it. British citizens may enter visa-free for tourism, with the length of stay set by the Thai rules for the date of travel, and gov.uk advice says business travel is not covered. The passport needs six months of validity and a blank page. Officers may ask for evidence of onward travel and of funds of at least 10,000 baht per person. Everyone completes the digital arrival card online, within three days before arrival. A yellow fever certificate is needed only if you arrive from a country at risk. Customs rules are strict, so anything restricted or dutiable is declared. On the British side the flight is filed on a General Aviation Report, between 48 and 2 hours before departure. Britain is outside Schengen, and so are Thailand and the stop in the Gulf, so no part of the trip lands in the Schengen area.

From the apron to the beach
Phuket is a long island and the airport is at the top of it, so the first hour depends on the beach you booked. The north-west coast is close, the west coast is a drive, and the south is a journey. The figures below are approximate road distances and typical times from transfer companies, and they stretch in the evening and in the high season.
a north-west coast beach, about 25 kmabout 45 minutes
the next beach south, about 29 kmabout 50 minutes
on the west coast, about 43 kmabout 75 minutes
the busiest resort, around 40 to 45 km1 to 1.5 hours
the south-west coast, about 50 kmabout 90 minutes

Flying to Phuket with a dog or a cat
Thailand is open to a dog or a cat arriving by private jet, and the paperwork has to be ready before the booking, because the Thai import permit comes first and the return to Britain is the harder half. The animal stays beside you in the cabin.

What the two halves look like:
- Into Thailand: an import permit applied for by email to the animal quarantine station at the port of entry, no later than seven working days before departure according to the Thai embassy guidance, and valid for 60 days. It comes with a microchip certificate, rabies vaccination at least 21 days before departure (dogs also distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus and leptospirosis; cats also feline panleukopenia) and an official health certificate valid for 10 days, on paper with an ink endorsement. The animal must be at least four months old, and a rabies antibody test is not required. A handling company's guide adds a negative leptospirosis test within 30 days for dogs, so we confirm the full list in writing before the flight;
- On arrival the animal goes to the quarantine office for a veterinary inspection, and an animal that shows no signs of illness is normally not quarantined, though the officer may detain any animal. The fee is 500 baht per animal, paid in cash. The office at Phuket is described as open from 08:30 to 16:30, so the landing time matters;
- Leaving Thailand: an export permit and a health check at the quarantine station, no more than three days before departure;
- Into Great Britain: Thailand does not appear in the gov.uk table of listed countries, so the stricter rules for countries that are not listed apply. The animal needs a Great Britain pet health certificate issued within 10 days of arrival and a rabies blood test, taken at least 30 days after the vaccination, at an EU-approved laboratory with a result of at least 0.5 IU/ml, and it must wait 3 months from the date of the sample before it travels;
- For dogs, a tapeworm treatment from a vet between 24 and 120 hours before arrival in Britain. Cats do not need it, and each animal travels with the pet travel document and a declaration;
- No more than five animals per traveller, and quarantine of up to four months if the rules are not met. The stop in the Gulf is a third country, so its rules for an animal in transit are checked as well.
What catches owners out on the Phuket run
– The blood test sets the calendar. It cannot be taken until a month after the vaccination, and the three months run from the sample, so the planning starts about four months before the return flight. A date that cannot move is better booked after the paperwork than before it;
– The Thai deadline is short and the certificate is short-lived. Ten days of validity for the health certificate and seven working days for the permit leave little room for a weekend or a holiday in between;
– A week on Phuket with a dog is possible, and a weekend booked on Thursday usually is not. Many owners leave the animal at home, and that is an honest answer we give when the rules and the dates do not meet.
Requirements for ferrets, birds and anything less usual are collected on our flying with pets guide, and our managers confirm the position in writing for your dates before a booking is taken.
The Phuket calendar: high season, monsoon and a few festivals
Phuket does not have four seasons. The dry months from November to April are the high season, the southwest monsoon from May to October is the low one, and the festivals follow the lunar calendar and the tourist year. Aircraft, slots and parking are tightest in the dry months, and the choice of week matters more than the choice of aircraft.
Why the dry months cost more
Not the flying. The long-range fleet is small next to the light and midsize fleets, and in the weeks before Christmas most of the large-cabin jets that can reach Asia are already placed. What gets tight is the slot, the permit, the parking and a crew that has not used up its hours. A handling company's notes say that in the high season Phuket may allow only short drop-and-go parking, so an aircraft that cannot stay may fly out empty and come back, and that is in the invoice. A booking made a fortnight before Christmas can still be done, but it pays more and may mean an aircraft brought from the Gulf. The same booking made two months earlier is simpler and cheaper. In the monsoon the limit is not the aircraft but the weather at the hotel and on the water.
Ways to bring the Phuket price down
- Move the dates out of the two weeks around Christmas and New Year. Late October, November and March sit on either side of the peak and are usually calmer;
- Ask where the aircraft is based. A Global 6000 already in the Gulf or in Asia needs less positioning than one in London, and on a route this long positioning is a large part of the bill;
- Look at the size of the party before the aircraft. For up to thirteen guests a Global 6000 does the job; a G550 or a G650ER costs more per hour and earns it only for a bigger group or a nonstop plan;
- Think about parking. A stay of a fortnight with the aircraft at Phuket is priced differently from one that flies out and returns, and the better answer depends on the number of days and on what the airport allows in that week.
Types of flights
Phuket produces a mix unlike the city destinations we cover. It is a place people go to stay, and the interesting part is what they do from there: islands, yachts, beaches, a second country across the border.
- Family holidays in the villas of the north-west coast, usually 6 to 12 people, with the aircraft staying only for the drop-off;
- Yacht trips to Phang Nga Bay, the Phi Phi islands and the Similans, joined to a flight by a transfer to a marina;
- Sailing regattas and the boating calendar, with owners and crews flying in around the dates;
- Asian loops that take in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, Bali or the Maldives, with Phuket as one stop of several;
- Wellness stays, with a long, quiet cabin and a quick transfer at the other end;
- Business visits to the island or on to Bangkok, with the visa position settled before the permit.
One-way or return is the question that takes the longest to answer. A return with the aircraft waiting for a fortnight is a large invoice, and a one-way flight out with a scheduled flight home is cheaper than it looks, because the crew would otherwise be paid to wait. We quote both ways so that the difference is visible before you decide.
Empty Legs
An empty leg is a repositioning flight with nobody aboard, offered at a fraction of the usual price. On a route as long as London to Phuket they are rare, and they come from the pattern of the traffic rather than from volume.
Where Phuket empty legs come from
– The long-haul return. A large-cabin jet flies a party to Phuket, waits a few days and comes back empty, which produces a westbound leg you can book;
– The Asian loop. Aircraft positioned to Singapore, Hong Kong or the Maldives for a business trip sometimes pass through Phuket on the way back, and a short regional sector appears at a lower price;
– The high-season shuffle. When parking is tight, an aircraft that has dropped its passengers flies out to be parked elsewhere and returns for the pick-up, and the positioning flight can be offered to a second client.
Because a long leg is unusual, a client who can name a window of several days has a far better chance than one who needs a particular evening. What you give up is the usual: the operator owns the date and the hour, and a leg can vanish when the original booking moves. Whatever is free is listed on our empty legs page, and we flag a Phuket match the day an operator releases it.

Helicopter charter
Phuket is a better helicopter place than most beach destinations, because the best scenery is over the water. One resort on the north-west coast runs its own helipad and charter service, open to its guests and residents, for panoramic flights over Phang Nga Bay and the Phi Phi islands and for private airport transfers, flying from sunrise to sunset. Booking is made in advance, and payment in full in baht is due at least 72 hours before the flight. For other clients we arrange the operator and the landing site separately.

from the airport apron or the tarmac to a helipad or a yacht, as a tailor-made packageon request

Before you plan around a helicopter
– Check the landing place first. A helipad is not a hotel lawn, and the status of a site has to be confirmed before we quote, not after;
– Expect daylight limits. The operators we found fly from sunrise to sunset, so a late landing from London means a car on the first night and a helicopter the next morning;
– Weather in the wet months. Rain, cloud and the monsoon can stop a helicopter on a day when the jet lands without trouble, so keep a car or a boat in reserve.
We book a helicopter alongside the jet when a site and a permit are in place, and the type is confirmed with the quote. For most clients the car is the answer for the island and the boat or the helicopter the answer for the bay.

Phuket charters from the booking notes: six typical trips
What the corridor looks like once a quote turns into a flight. Six typical jobs of the kind that come through our booking notes, described in outline, with the particulars changed.
FAMILY · THE CHRISTMAS FORTNIGHT
Ten guests and a villa on the north-west coast
Biggin Hill - Phuket via the Gulf, Global 6000, about 12 h 55 min · 10 pax
The dates were fixed by the school holidays. The slot was requested first and the permit followed, and the handler advised against leaving the aircraft on the apron for the fortnight, so the jet dropped the family and flew out, with a pick-up booked for the way home. Booking in October kept the cost of the positioning down.
NONSTOP · A SHORTER DAY
Six guests who wanted one take-off
London Luton - Phuket, Gulfstream G650ER, about 11 h 25 min · 6 pax
The party disliked the idea of a stop and asked for a single leg. A G650ER can plan it, with winds, reserves and payload checked, at £176,400 against £157,450 for the Global 6000 with a stop. They paid the difference to save about an hour and a half and the stop.
BUSINESS · THE VISA QUESTION
Two executives and a week of meetings
Manchester - Phuket via the Gulf, Global 6000, about 13 h 10 min · 2 pax
The travellers assumed that a British passport meant visa-free entry. The guidance says visa-free entry covers tourism and that business travel needs the right visa, so the trip was paused for the paperwork and rebooked later. We ask about the purpose of the trip on the first call.
ISLAND HOPPING · THE MAINLAND
A party for Ao Nang, not for Phuket
Edinburgh - Krabi via the Gulf, Global 6000, about 13 h 20 min · 8 pax
The villa was on the Andaman coast of the mainland, and the road from Phuket would have added hours. Krabi has a 3,000 m runway and is only about 42 nm from Phuket in the air, so the jet landed there. The handler confirmed customs and immigration, which Krabi lists as on demand, before the permit was filed.
A DOG ASKED ABOUT · ANSWERED BEFORE THE QUOTE
A labrador and the return paperwork
London to Phuket and back, Global 6000 · 4 pax + dog
The family asked about the dog first. We explained the Thai import permit, the short life of the health certificate and, on the way back, the rabies blood test and the three-month wait that apply to a country outside the gov.uk list. They left the dog with relatives. Sometimes that is the right result of a quote.
REGATTA WEEK · A BUSY APRON
Owners flying in for the sailing
Glasgow - Phuket via the Gulf, Global 6000, about 13 h 20 min · 7 pax
The week of the King's Cup is among the busiest for the boating crowd. The aircraft was booked in the summer, the handler confirmed the parking limit in advance, and the crew rested at the hotel instead of waiting on the apron.
Frequently asked questions about flying to Phuket
1How long is a private jet flight from London to Phuket?
About 12 h 55 min from Biggin Hill or London City in a Global 6000 with a stop of roughly an hour in the Gulf, and around 13 h 20 min from Glasgow. An ultra-long-range jet can fly nonstop in about 11 h 25 min. The distance is roughly 5,544 nautical miles in a straight line, and Thailand is six hours ahead of Britain in summer and seven in winter, so an evening departure lands in the middle of the afternoon of the next day.
2How much does a private jet to Phuket cost?
From about £156,900 one way on a Global 6000 with a stop out of Biggin Hill or London City, and £157,450 from Luton. Manchester is £159,750, Edinburgh £161,500 and Glasgow £162,450. A Gulfstream G650ER flying nonstop from Biggin Hill is £176,150. The high season from November to April and the weeks around Christmas price above these figures, and permits, landing and parking charges are added once the dates are fixed.
3Which airport should a private jet use in Phuket?
Phuket International (HKT / VTSP), the only airport on the island. It is open round the clock, with a 3,000 m runway, customs and immigration listed as H24, a private aircraft apron and the Siam Land Private Jet Terminal. For a villa on the mainland coast, Krabi (KBV / VTSG) is about 42 nm away in the air; Koh Samui (USM / VTSM) has a 2,100 m runway and suits smaller jets.
4What do British passengers need to enter Thailand on a private jet?
A passport valid for at least six months with a blank page, and the Thailand Digital Arrival Card completed online within three days before landing. Visa-free entry for British citizens is for tourism and for a limited stay, and business travel needs the right visa, so we check the rule for the date of travel. Officers may ask for evidence of onward travel and of funds. The operator needs a landing permit from the Thai aviation authority, normally applied for at least three working days ahead, and handlers advise more.
5Can a private jet fly from London to Phuket without a stop?
A Gulfstream G650ER or a Global 7500 can plan it, because the direct line is about 5,544 nm and they are rated at 7,500 and 7,700 nm. A Global 6000 is rated at about 6,000 nm and takes a stop. From Biggin Hill a G650ER nonstop is about £176,150 one way, against £156,900 for the Global 6000 with a stop in the Gulf.
6Can I take my dog to Phuket on a private jet?
The dog travels in the cabin, but both ends have conditions. Thailand asks for an import permit applied for in advance, a microchip, a current rabies vaccination and an official health certificate, and we confirm the entry point and the paperwork in writing before the flight. For the return, Thailand is not in the gov.uk table of listed countries, so the animal needs a Great Britain pet health certificate, a rabies blood test and a three-month wait from the sample, plus a tapeworm treatment for a dog 24 to 120 hours before arrival.
