• Film Fest Gent (October). One of Belgium's most important film festivals, with a focus on film music. Attracts film industry clients from across Europe;
• Ghent Floralies (April/May, every 5 years - next 2028). Belgium's largest flower and plant exhibition, held in the Flanders Expo centre.
