Terms and Conditions
Last updated: July 2026 | Version 2.0
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the private-jets.co.uk website or engaging our services. By accessing our website or placing a booking with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1. About us
Private Jet UK (hereinafter "we", "us", "the Company" or "the Broker") is a business aviation brokerage company registered in the Republic of Latvia.
- Company name: Private Jet UK
- Registered address: Mārupes nov., Mārupe, Dzirnieku iela 16, LV-2167, Latvia
- Company registration number: upon request
- Contact: [email protected] | +44 204 577-31-19
2. Our role as broker
This clause is fundamental to understanding your legal relationship with us. Private Jet UK acts exclusively as an aviation broker - we do not own, operate or maintain any aircraft. We arrange charter flights on your behalf by sourcing and contracting with licensed third-party aircraft operators (hereinafter "Operators").
The legal consequences of this are as follows:
- The contract for the carriage of passengers by air is between you and the Operator, not between you and Private Jet UK;
- The Operator, not Private Jet UK, is responsible for the airworthiness of the aircraft, the qualifications of the crew, the maintenance of the aircraft and the safe conduct of the flight;
- Private Jet UK is responsible for the brokerage service only - that is, the sourcing, selection, and coordination of the charter on your behalf;
- In arranging your charter, we exercise reasonable care and skill in selecting Operators who hold valid Air Operator Certificates (AOC) and comply with applicable aviation regulations.
3. Definitions
In these Terms and Conditions, the following terms have the following meanings:
- "Client" means the individual or legal entity that places a booking with Private Jet UK;
- "Booking" means a confirmed charter arrangement between the Client and Private Jet UK, evidenced by a signed charter contract;
- "Charter Contract" means the written agreement issued by Private Jet UK setting out the specific terms of each charter flight, including the itinerary, aircraft, price and cancellation terms;
- "Operator" means the licensed aircraft operating company that provides the aircraft and crew for the charter flight;
- "Flight" means the air transport service provided by the Operator under the Charter Contract;
- "Services" means the brokerage and related services provided by Private Jet UK, including sourcing, quoting, booking, and coordination of charter flights and ancillary ground services.
4. Booking and contract formation
A binding booking is formed only when both of the following conditions are met:
- The Client has signed and returned the Charter Contract issued by Private Jet UK; and
- Payment has been received and cleared in accordance with the payment terms set out in the Charter Contract.
Quotes, proposals and verbal agreements do not constitute binding bookings. Aircraft availability is not guaranteed until a signed contract and cleared payment have been received. We recommend not making non-refundable travel arrangements (hotels, ground transport, connecting flights) until your charter booking is confirmed in writing.
Each Charter Contract forms a separate agreement supplementing these Terms and Conditions. In the event of any conflict between a Charter Contract and these Terms and Conditions, the terms of the Charter Contract shall prevail in respect of that specific booking.
5. Pricing and payment
All prices quoted by Private Jet UK are in the currency stated in the quote (GBP, EUR or USD) and are valid for the period stated in the quote, or for 24 hours where no validity period is stated. Prices are subject to change until a Charter Contract has been signed and payment received.
Payment terms, accepted payment methods and payment timing are set out on our Payment Options page and in each individual Charter Contract. The Charter Contract constitutes the definitive record of the agreed price. We do not make post-booking price adjustments except where the Client has changed the scope of services requested.
Air Passenger Duty (APD) and other government-imposed taxes and charges applicable to the flight will be included in the quoted price or clearly identified as additional charges in the Charter Contract.
6. Cancellation and refunds
Cancellation terms applicable to your booking are set out in the Charter Contract. General cancellation terms are described on our Payment and Cancellation page.
The following principles apply in all cases:
- Cancellation by the Client is subject to the cancellation terms set out in the Charter Contract. These terms reflect the costs committed by the Operator in preparing for the flight;
- If a flight is cancelled due to circumstances within the Operator's control (including aircraft technical failure, crew unavailability, or loss of operating certification), the Client is entitled to a full refund of the charter price or an equivalent replacement flight at no additional cost;
- Private Jet UK will make all reasonable efforts to source a replacement aircraft before offering a refund;
- Cancellations due to force majeure events (see clause 9) are subject to the Operator's applicable force majeure terms as set out in the Charter Contract.
7. Our liability
Private Jet UK's liability as broker is limited to the brokerage services we provide. We are not liable for:
- The acts, omissions, negligence or default of any Operator, handling agent, FBO, catering provider or other third-party service provider;
- Death, personal injury, or loss or damage to property sustained during any flight, which are matters between the Client and the Operator and subject to applicable aviation law and the Operator's insurance;
- Any indirect, consequential, special or economic loss arising from a delay, cancellation or disruption to a flight;
- Loss arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to force majeure events (see clause 9).
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Private Jet UK's total aggregate liability to the Client in connection with any booking shall not exceed the brokerage fee received by Private Jet UK in connection with that booking.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by applicable law.
8. Client responsibilities
The Client is responsible for:
- Ensuring that all passengers hold valid travel documents (passport, visa where required) for the departure, transit and arrival countries;
- Providing accurate and complete passenger manifest information by the deadline specified in the Charter Contract;
- Notifying us in advance of any special requirements including medical conditions, dietary requirements, mobility assistance needs, or pet travel;
- Ensuring that passengers arrive at the departure FBO at the agreed check-in time. Private Jet UK and the Operator are not liable for any costs arising from passengers failing to arrive on time;
- Compliance with all applicable customs, immigration, security and health regulations at all points on the itinerary;
- Any costs, fines or penalties imposed by authorities as a result of incorrect or incomplete passenger documentation provided by the Client.
9. Force majeure
Neither Private Jet UK nor the Operator shall be liable for any failure or delay in performing obligations under a Charter Contract where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Severe weather conditions rendering flight operations unsafe or impossible;
- Air traffic control restrictions, airport closures, or airspace restrictions imposed by aviation authorities;
- Acts of terrorism, war, civil unrest, or government-imposed restrictions on air travel;
- Pandemic, epidemic or public health emergency measures affecting flight operations;
- Industrial action by third parties (including ATC strikes or airport staff strikes);
- Natural disasters or other extraordinary events beyond the reasonable control of the affected party.
In the event of a force majeure event, we will make all reasonable efforts to find an alternative flight or reschedule your journey. Refunds in force majeure situations are subject to the Operator's applicable terms as set out in the Charter Contract.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions or any Charter Contract - including any question regarding their existence, validity or termination - shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Latvia, except that:
- Clients who are consumers resident in the United Kingdom may also bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales;
- Clients who are consumers resident in another EU member state may bring proceedings in the courts of their country of residence in accordance with applicable EU consumer protection regulations.
Nothing in this clause prevents Private Jet UK from seeking urgent injunctive relief in any competent court.
14. General provisions
- Entire agreement. These Terms and Conditions, together with any Charter Contract and our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between the parties in relation to the subject matter and supersede all previous agreements, representations and understandings between the parties;
- Severability. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severed and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect;
