Private jet charter in Prague
From a London airfield the Czech capital is under two hours away, but it is the slot at Prague, not the flight, that sets the timetable. Private Jets UK builds the charter around that detail. Our customers have access to 6,500 jets of all types and configurations available for rent. We will help you choose the best option based on your needs and objectives. Our catalog contains the models from the largest manufacturers: Gulfstream, Dassault, Embraer, Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, Learjet, Cessna, Beechcraft, Pilatus, HondaJet, etc. We have established partnerships with the world's largest airlines and VIP terminals, which means we can offer you favourable flight conditions and a high level of service. Our experts will manage the organization of your flight - starting with paperwork, agreements, etc., and ending with a transfer and meeting at the airport. Our company provides a full range of business aviation and concierge services. Prague has two runways of 3,715 m and 3,250 m, customs and immigration listed as available round the clock and a general aviation terminal of its own, while Vodochody, Brno and Karlovy Vary wait as alternatives when the programme points beyond the capital. The real decisions are the landing slot, the hour of arrival and whether the evening ends before the night rules begin.

At your request, the aviation consultants of Private Jets UK will help you choose the jet with the suitable technical parameters (production year, flight hours, and home base). The cost of the private jet charter in Prague depends on many factors, such as the model of the business jet, the number of passengers, departure and destination airports, type of flight, duration of parking, additional services, etc. Therefore, we calculate the price of each order individually taking into account your wishes. You can use an online calculator to get an instant charter quote. Please indicate your real contact details to get the final calculation.
You can calculate the cost of your flight in several ways:
- using an online calculator on the website (however, it shows only the approximate price);
- via Messenger (WhatsApp or Telegram);
- by landline or cell phone;
- via e-mail (jets@private-jets.co.uk).
Please note that the above-mentioned price is indicative only. It is calculated on this basis: a departure from Biggin Hill, a Cessna Citation CJ3+ and two passengers aboard. If you want to get a personal quote, just fill out the online booking form below. Our aviation consultant will make the calculation within 20 minutes, and then contact you to specify the details of the flight.
How long does it take to fly to Prague?
About an hour and three-quarters from Biggin Hill or London City in a light jet, two hours from Edinburgh, and one hour of clock difference to add on arrival, because the Czech Republic keeps Central European time. At 566 to 786 nautical miles from the British fields we use, Prague is a light-jet sector from anywhere in England and a job for a larger cabin only when the party is big or the bags are many. The table gives the sector from each field.

Door to door, and the clock on the wall
Leave a London airfield at seven in the morning and you are on the ground at Prague a little before ten local time. The airport lies about 12 km west of the centre, and private passengers go through Terminal 3, separate from the scheduled-flight halls, so the arrival is quick. A client who left a London office at half past six can be sitting down to lunch on the Old Town side of the river before one. The things to plan around are the slot and the night: Prague is a coordinated airport, and between 22:00 and 06:00 local time the noise rules shape which aircraft may land at all.
Light jet or midsize: how the choice usually goes on this route
– Up to four people with ordinary bags, take a light jet. Under two hours in a CJ3+ or a Phenom is no hardship, and what you save against a midsize cabin pays for the car and the hotel;
– Past four, or with a wardrobe for a fashion week, instruments for a concert tour or cases of Bohemian crystal bought on the way home, we quote a midsize alongside so that you see both figures. On this route the hold often decides before the seat count does;
– A heavy jet earns its place when the party is large, when one aircraft stays with you across several stops, or when Prague is the first leg of something longer. Runway length is not the issue: with 3,715 m available, everything we send fits.

Private jet flights from Prague
Prague sits in the middle of Central Europe, so most of the useful hops are short. Karlovy Vary and Brno are inside the country, Vienna, Bratislava and Berlin fit inside a turboprop or light-jet hour, Budapest and Munich are a little further, and the Riviera and the Gulf are the long sectors. Onward from Prague: when the aircraft wins and when the car does
Karlovy Vary is 54 nautical miles away on the chart, about 35 minutes in a Pilatus PC-12, against roughly two hours on the road for the 127 km, and the spa airport keeps short daytime hours, so the choice depends on the schedule and the guest list and not on the money. Brno is 115 nautical miles, about 45 minutes by turboprop, and the motorway to it is long enough that the aircraft usually wins for a same-day meeting. Vienna is about 55 minutes in the same aircraft and Bratislava about an hour. All of these lie inside the Schengen area, so the first landing carries the formalities and the hops after it are free of passport control.
Before you accept a Czech onward quote
– Which airport at the far end, and what it can do for you. Karlovy Vary has a 2,150 m runway but only daytime hours, Brno limits the stands on its general aviation apron to aircraft with wingspans up to 24 m, and we check handling, parking and customs before the quote is written, not after it;
– Whether the legs are one booking. Prague to Karlovy Vary to Brno and back to London over three days costs noticeably less arranged as one trip, because the aircraft and crew stay with you instead of returning to base between stops.
Prices depending on the type of business jet
We can clearly show the high dependence of the cost of the flight, on the type of aircraft - we have collected approximate data, at the price of 1 flight hour, for various types of business jets:

The cost per hour indicated in the table is preliminary and does not constitute an offer or a commercial offer. Exact prices are available from the managers of the company.
Online Calculator
If you want to make an urgent calculation of the cost of a private plane flight, use our online calculator. Just fill in all the fields of the form with a note that you are interested in a specific model of the aircraft and get the final price. NB! - the figures are sent to you by email or messenger, please carefully fill in the contact details to get the calculation.
All our calculations are as transparent as possible for you. After receiving the request, we will prepare a beautiful offer - where the costs and the final price will be clearly described. The exact price is agreed in advance and is written in the contract, so you can be sure of the final cost.
Private jets are ready to take off
Our database contains over 6,500 business jets (about 3,500 in Europe and 3,000 in the rest of the world) of different configurations and production years. The list of models is constantly updated. Unfortunately, we can't post a full list of available jets on our website due to confidentiality issues. Please contact the managers of the company for more accurate information. We will help you choose a suitable model taking into account your wishes. These are the typical choices for Prague:
Light jets, the usual choice for four or five people
At under two hours this is a comfortable sector for a small party with ordinary luggage. Nothing here lacks the range, so the money is better spent on the car and the hotel than on a bigger cabin you will not fill.
Midsize, for a wardrobe, a quartet and a long weekend
The hold fills faster than the seats on a Prague trip: garment rails for a show, instrument cases for a concert, and whatever comes home from the Christmas markets in December.
Super-midsize and large
For a team that wants to work in the air, a group travelling as one party, or a trip that carries on from Prague to the Gulf. Two long runways take all of these without restriction, though the night rules apply to the heaviest types.
Turboprops
The right aircraft for the Czech and Central European hops: Karlovy Vary, Brno, Vienna and Bratislava are an hour or less in the air, and the saving over a jet on those distances is large.
Helicopters
Not for the flight from Britain but for the last stretch: the spa valley beyond the Bohemian hills, a castle on the way to Kutná Hora, or a loop over the Vltava and the Castle. Terminal 3 handles helicopters too, and where one may land elsewhere is agreed before the quote.

This is a small part of what is available. Prague sits among Vienna, Berlin, Munich and Warsaw, so there is often an aircraft within an hour of the airport, and a quote may name one of those cities as the positioning point. That is normal for a capital with a modest based fleet, and it is frequently where the better price comes from.

Business aviation airports in Prague
One airport carries almost every Prague trip, and three more matter when the programme leaves the capital. Which one is right depends on where the meeting is, and on what the aircraft weighs.
| Airport | What it gives you |
|---|---|
| Prague, Václav Havel PRG / LKPR |
The answer for any trip whose business is in Prague or central Bohemia. About 12 km west of the centre, with two runways: 06/24 at 3,715 m by 45 m, which carries the heavy traffic and has a Category II/III approach on runway 24, and 12/30 at 3,250 m by 45 m. General and business aviation, helicopters included, is dispatched from Terminal 3, and Terminal 4 takes state and VIP flights. Handling is compulsory, and the general aviation agents listed in the Czech AIP are Bell Textron Prague, ABS Jets and Time Air. The apron for private aircraft, called Apron South, lies beside the two terminals. Fuel is Jet A-1, de-icing is available round the clock, and hangar space is limited, so a jet that must stay under cover overnight is sometimes placed elsewhere |
| Prague, Vodochody VOD / LKVO |
The private airfield about 15 km north-west of the capital, home to the Aero Vodochody factory. One runway of 2,500 m by 45 m with an instrument approach to runway 28, and a hangar, a lounge and a crew room. It is not a second Prague for every trip: handling, fuel and air traffic services are provided by prior request, low-visibility operations are not allowed, and customs for flights from outside Schengen are given on working days or round the clock with 24 hours' notice (48 hours at weekends and public holidays). Choose it when Terminal 3 has no parking for the day or when the meeting is north of Prague |
| Brno, Tuřany BRQ / LKTB |
The alternative for the south-east of the country, about 7.5 km from the centre of Brno, with a concrete runway of 2,650 m and an instrument approach to runway 27. Handling is by the airport company itself, and customs and non-Schengen handling are limited to the middle, west and east aprons. Stands for general aviation on the west apron take aircraft with wingspans up to 24 m only, which is enough for most light and midsize jets but not for the biggest. In a straight line it is about 205 km from Prague, so it is the right choice when the meeting is in Brno or at the trade fair grounds, and the wrong one when it is in Prague |
| Karlovy Vary KLV / LKKV |
The spa town's airport, about 4.5 km south-east of the centre, with a runway of 2,150 m by 30 m and an instrument approach to runway 29. Handling is provided by the airport itself, jet fuel is available, and customs and immigration follow the aerodrome's hours, which are short and daytime-only; anything outside them needs notice to the operator, 24 hours ahead for a single flight. There are no repair facilities. It saves a two-hour road transfer for a stay in the spa quarter or the film festival, and we confirm the hours against your timetable before quoting |
Four things to settle before a Prague landing:
The terminal and its handler
Private flights use Terminal 3, away from the scheduled-flight halls, and the airport promises individual service there. Handling is compulsory at Prague, so one of the three general aviation agents is appointed for the flight; the biggest of them, ABS Jets, runs a passenger lounge with showers, catering and a conference room, and keeps its own hangars. Hangar space overall is limited, which matters in winter.
Hours, slots and permits
The airport and its customs and immigration are listed as available round the clock, but Prague is a coordinated airport, so every landing needs a slot from the airport coordinator, who is on duty at all hours and charges a fee. We file it for you; the Czech AIP typically accepts general aviation requests down to an hour before the movement, but we ask days ahead in the busy weeks. A private flight on a foreign aircraft normally needs no permit from the Ministry of Transport, only a flight plan, which we confirm for each flight; a paid charter by a foreign operator needs a Ministry permit, applied for at least three working days ahead.
Night rules
Between 22:00 and 06:00 local time the airport applies its night regime. Aircraft above 45 tonnes may operate only if they are on the approved list, and lighter aircraft must meet a noise category, so the great majority of business jets qualify, but a large VIP airliner needs checking first. Engine test runs are restricted at night too. For a late dinner in town, we plan the departure around this, not around the table.
Border, passport and the car
Czechia is in both the EU and Schengen and Britain is in neither, so the passport check and the customs check happen on arrival at the terminal. Tell us the terminal as well as the flight, because a driver told only "airport" may wait at Terminal 1 or 2. The centre is about 12 km away, and the road in can be slow at rush hour.

Schengen, passports and the way home
The first landing in the Schengen area is where the formalities happen, and for a British party that landing is Prague. British passport holders need no visa for up to 90 days in any 180, provided the passport was issued less than ten years before arrival and remains valid for three months beyond departure. First-time visitors may be asked to register a photograph and fingerprints at the EU border system, which is free. Hotels register foreign guests with the foreign police on arrival; a private rental needs the guest to do it within three days. After the first landing the border is invisible. Czechia is a full member of the Schengen area, so a hop to Vienna, Berlin or Budapest needs no further passport control, although checks can be reintroduced at some borders. For the return to Britain, the General Aviation Report is filed not earlier than 48 hours and not later than 2 hours before departure, and British and Irish citizens need no electronic travel authorisation.

From the apron to the Old Town
Prague is a capital that most visitors know as a medieval skyline, but a private client sees something else: a business centre with a dense cultural programme, spa towns and castles within a morning's drive, and an airport that is a short ride from the middle. The three trips outside the city are the ones our clients ask about most.
about 12 km from the centre; the Czech AIP puts Prague Castle about 10 km from the airfieldtypically 25 to 35 minutes by car
84 km east of the city, a former residence of Bohemian kings and home of the central mint, with a UNESCO listing, the Sedlec Ossuary and St Barbara's Churchabout 1 hour
127 km west, the best-known spa town of the country, with hot springs and colonnades; the airport there saves the roadabout 2 hours
171 km south, a castle on a cliff above a bend of the Vltava, a UNESCO site known as the pearl of Bohemiaabout 2.5 hours
56 nm in a straight line to the spa quarter, the one place where a helicopter changes the whole dayabout 37 minutes by helicopter
Flying to Prague with a dog or a cat
For a pet the paperwork is the part of a Czech trip that needs planning, and the flight is the easy bit: the animal sits beside you in the cabin, never in a hold, and on a sector of under two hours most simply sleep. The date on the health certificate is the detail that goes wrong, because the certificate is valid for only ten days for entry to the EU.

What an EU country such as Czechia asks for when a pet arrives from Britain:
- An ISO microchip, fitted before the rabies vaccination or at the same time. An old tattoo is accepted only if it is still readable and predates the chip rules, so for practical purposes the chip is the rule;
- A rabies vaccination given when the animal was at least 12 weeks old, with 21 days elapsed after the first vaccination before the animal travels;
- An Animal Health Certificate for each trip, issued by an Official Veterinarian and valid for ten days for entry to the EU. A British pet passport cannot be used to enter the EU;
- A written declaration that the movement is non-commercial, and no more than five animals per traveller. The Czech tourist board names Prague Airport as the border inspection point where dogs and cats go through a veterinary check;
- For dogs, a tapeworm treatment from a vet between 24 and 120 hours before arrival back in Britain, recorded on the paperwork. Cats are exempt.
What catches owners out on the Prague run
– Czechia does not ask for tapeworm treatment on the way in, only Britain asks for it on the way home, so it is a vet appointment you book in Prague towards the end of the stay. Count back from the departure time, because the window is 24 to 120 hours and a flight that moves by a day can move the window out of reach;
– The order of the chip and the vaccine matters. A vaccination given before the microchip does not count, and an animal that arrives without the right paperwork can be refused entry, so the certificate is checked line by line before the flight, not at the terminal;
– The veterinary check is named as being at Prague Airport. If the programme starts in Brno or Karlovy Vary with a dog on board, tell us at the quote stage, because the entry point has to be agreed with the veterinary authority first and we confirm it in writing.
Requirements for cats, ferrets, birds and anything less usual are collected on our flying with pets guide. For the entry point and the paperwork on the way home, we confirm both in writing before the flight, and our managers check the position for your dates before a booking is taken.
The Prague calendar: music in May, markets in December
Prague is busy for much of the year, and the pressure comes from a handful of weeks rather than from the whole calendar. Knowing which week you want matters more than choosing an aircraft.
Why a festival weekend costs more
Not the flying. The European light and midsize fleet is large and Prague is well placed in it. What gets tight on a busy weekend is the number of good cars and rooms in the centre, the slot at the airport, and the stands beside Terminal 3, because hangar space is limited. A booking made two weeks before an Advent weekend can still be done, but it may mean an aircraft positioned from Vienna, Berlin or Munich, and that costs more. The same booking made four or five weeks earlier is simpler and cheaper. Outside those weeks Prague is one of the easier capitals to fly into, and a charter can usually be arranged in a day or two.
Ways to bring the Prague price down
- Move the dates by a few days where you can. The weeks after the Christmas markets close, and the gaps between the May concerts and the summer, are calmer than the festival weekends themselves;
- Ask where the aircraft is based. A jet that already sits in Prague, Vienna or Berlin takes less positioning than one coming from Britain, and on a sector of this length positioning is a meaningful part of the bill;
- Check whether Karlovy Vary works as well. On the same light jet from Biggin Hill, the sector to Karlovy Vary is priced about £600 lower than the one to Prague. The saving is real and so is the drive, so let the location of the meeting decide. Brno is further from Britain than Prague, so it saves nothing on the flight.
Types of flights
Prague produces a different mix from the Alpine or the Mediterranean destinations we cover, because it is a capital with a financial and cultural weight, a hub for the rest of the country, and at the same time the gate to the spas and castles of Bohemia.
- Business and finance travel, with fixed meeting dates and a small team: a morning in the city and an afternoon out, often with the return planned around the night rules;
- Congresses, trade fairs and corporate events at the Prague Congress Centre and the exhibition grounds, with delegations arriving in small groups;
- Culture and fashion: the Prague Spring concerts, the fashion shows, and photography and film crews with a large amount of equipment;
- Spa and wellbeing stays in Karlovy Vary, a short flight or a two-hour drive from the capital;
- Heritage day trips to Kutná Hora and Český Krumlov, with a car meeting the aircraft and a driver who knows the roads;
- Hops to Vienna, Berlin, Munich and Budapest inside a longer European loop.
The day trip is the one to look at closely. Land a little before ten, leave at five in the afternoon local time and you are on the British side again before six in the evening, UK time, with seven hours on the ground in between. A same-day return means the aircraft and crew wait for you rather than going home, and that waiting is paid for, but it often still comes out cheaper than two separate one-way charters. We quote it both ways, so the difference is visible.
Empty Legs
An empty leg is a repositioning flight with nobody aboard, offered at a fraction of the usual price. Prague has no single event that creates them, so they come from the pattern of neighbouring airports, and it helps to know what produces them.
Where Prague empty legs come from
– Advent weekends. Small parties arrive on the Friday and the aircraft goes home empty, which produces an outbound leg on the Friday or Saturday;
– Concert and fashion weeks. Teams fly in together and leave on different days, and the aircraft that brought them often positions out of Prague empty;
– Neighbouring capitals. Aircraft moving between Vienna, Berlin, Munich and Warsaw sometimes touch Prague, and a leg towards Britain from there is one that can be offered.
Because the Czech corridor is thinner than the busiest London routes, a client who can name a few days rather than one has a far better chance than one who needs a particular evening. What you give up is the usual: the operator owns the date and the hour, and a leg can vanish when the original booking moves. Whatever is free is listed on our empty legs page, and we flag a Prague match the day an operator releases it.

Helicopter charter
In Prague a helicopter is a tool for the edges of a trip and not the middle. The Old Town is small enough to cross by car or on foot, and the places where rotary flight changes the journey are the spa valley to the west, the road south to Český Krumlov and the castle country around Kutná Hora.
the Castle, the bridges over the Vltava and the roofs of the Old Town seen from the airtypically 30 minutes
42 nm in a straight line, against about an hour on the roadabout 30 minutes
56 nm in a straight line to the spa quarter, against about two hours by roadabout 37 minutes
80 nm in a straight line, against about two and a half hours by roadabout 50 minutes
Before you plan around a helicopter
– A helicopter cannot land wherever it likes. A landing away from an aerodrome needs an agreed site and the landowner's consent, so we check the status of a hotel lawn or a castle park before the quote is written, not after it, and in a protected landscape the local rules come first;
– Weather sets the schedule. Fog, low cloud and winter snow can stop a helicopter on a day when the jet lands without trouble, so a transfer needs a road alternative planned into the same day;
– A flight across the border into Germany, Austria or Poland means a second set of permissions. Tell us the landing site at the other end when you ask for the quote, and book the helicopter together with the jet.
The machines on this ground are the Airbus H125 for scenic and country work, the wider H130 for villa and castle transfers, the H135 and the Bell 429 where a twin is wanted, and the H155 for larger parties. We book them alongside the jet so that both crews work to one timetable.

Prague charters from the booking notes: six typical trips
What the corridor looks like once a quote turns into a flight. Six typical jobs of the kind that come through our booking notes, described in outline, with the particulars changed.
DAY TRIP · OUT AND BACK
A morning meeting in Prague and home for dinner
Biggin Hill - Prague and return, Citation CJ3+, about 1 h 45 min each way · 4 pax
Wheels up at seven, on the ground a little before ten local time, in the meeting by eleven and back at Biggin Hill in the early evening. The aircraft and crew waited at Terminal 3 rather than going home, which is a real line in the quote and usually still comes in below two separate one-way charters. A long day, and it works.
THE SOUTH · A CASTLE DAY
A family day in Český Krumlov from a morning landing
Farnborough - Prague, Phenom 300E, about 1 h 40 min · 6 pax
They asked whether a regional airfield would save the drive. We quoted Prague, booked a driver for the road south at about two and a half hours each way, and priced the helicopter as an alternative for the return. They chose the car and slept in the castle town. The question that settled it was what the evening was for.
THE SPA · KARLOVY VARY
A long weekend in the spa quarter
Farnborough - Karlovy Vary, Phenom 300E, about 1 h 35 min · 4 pax
The party preferred to land at the spa airport rather than drive from the capital, but the aerodrome keeps short daytime hours. We timed the outbound for the early afternoon, booked the return for a Sunday midday and confirmed customs against the hours in writing. Had the flight slipped, the fallback was Prague and a car.
THE CATWALK · FIXED DATES
A fashion team for a show week
London Luton - Prague, Citation XLS+, about 1 h 45 min · 8 pax
The dates were set by the show and not by the client. Eight people, garment rails, shoe cases and a request for two vans to meet the aircraft. The booking went in three weeks ahead, the slot was secured early and the handler pre-arranged the passport check at the terminal, so nothing needed explaining on the day.
ADVENT · A DOG ON BOARD
Four adults and a spaniel for a December weekend
Southampton - Prague, Citation XLS+, about 1 h 50 min · 4 pax + dog
The Animal Health Certificate had to be dated inside ten days of arrival, and the vet appointment in Prague for the tapeworm treatment had to fall between 24 and 120 hours before the flight home. We booked both with the aircraft, the hotel took the dog, and the whole thing was settled in a single exchange of messages rather than three.
EMPTY LEG · SUNDAY EVENING WEST
A jet already going your way
Prague - London Luton, Phenom 300E empty leg, about 1 h 40 min · 3 pax
The aircraft had brought a party in for the weekend and was going home empty. The client gave us a three-day window instead of a date, which is what makes these work, and paid well below a fresh one-way charter for a Sunday evening departure to the London fields.
Frequently asked questions about flying to Prague
1How long is a private jet flight from London to Prague?
About 1 hour 45 minutes from London City and Biggin Hill in a light jet, and around 1 hour 40 minutes from Luton in a Phenom, covering roughly 566 to 598 nautical miles. From Birmingham, Manchester or Bristol allow about 1 hour 50 minutes, and from Edinburgh or Glasgow around 2 hours. Czechia is one hour ahead of Britain, so a seven o'clock departure lands a little before ten local time.
2How much does a private jet to Prague cost?
From about £8,300 one way on a light jet out of London City or Biggin Hill, and £8,600 to £8,750 in a Phenom from Luton or Farnborough. A midsize cabin runs £11,100 to £11,900 from the south and Midlands, and from Scotland allow £16,200 to £16,750. Advent weekends and festival weeks can price above these figures.
3Which airport should a private jet use, Prague, Vodochody, Brno or Karlovy Vary?
Prague Václav Havel (PRG / LKPR) if the business is in Prague or central Bohemia. It is about 12 km from the centre, has two runways of 3,715 m and 3,250 m and a general aviation terminal, Terminal 3. Vodochody (VOD / LKVO) is the private airfield north-west of the city, Brno (BRQ / LKTB) suits meetings in Moravia, and Karlovy Vary (KLV / LKKV) the spa quarter; on the same light jet from Biggin Hill the sector to Karlovy Vary is priced about £600 lower than the one to Prague.
4Do I need a visa, a slot or a landing permit for Prague?
Czechia is in the EU and Schengen and Britain is not, so you clear passport control and customs on arrival. British passport holders need no visa for up to 90 days in any 180, with a passport less than ten years old and valid for three months beyond departure. Prague is a coordinated airport, so every landing needs a slot from the airport coordinator, which we file. A private flight on a foreign aircraft normally needs no Ministry permit, only a flight plan, while a paid charter by a foreign operator needs a Ministry of Transport permit applied for at least three working days ahead. We track both together with the aircraft paperwork.
5How do I reach Karlovy Vary, Český Krumlov and Kutná Hora from the airport?
By road, Kutná Hora is about 84 km and an hour, Karlovy Vary about 127 km and two hours, and Český Krumlov about 171 km and two and a half hours. A helicopter covers them in about 30, 37 and 50 minutes if the landing site is agreed first, and Karlovy Vary has an airport of its own with daytime hours, 4.5 km from the town. We arrange the car or the helicopter together with the jet.
6Can I take my dog to Prague on a private jet?
Yes. The dog travels in the cabin with you, and an EU country such as Czechia asks for a microchip fitted before or with the rabies vaccination, a vaccination given at 12 weeks or older and at least 21 days old, and an Animal Health Certificate valid for ten days for entry. A British pet passport cannot be used. The Czech tourist board names Prague Airport as the place where dogs and cats go through a veterinary check. Czechia does not ask for a tapeworm treatment on the way in, but a dog needs one from a vet between 24 and 120 hours before arriving back in Britain. Cats are exempt from the treatment.
