Private jet charter in Warsaw
A private jet from Britain reaches Warsaw in about two hours, and the part of the trip that needs a plan is the clock at the far end, not the flight. Private Jets UK arranges the charter around whatever the journey is for. Our customers have access to 6,500 jets of all types and configurations available for rent. We will help you choose the best option based on your needs and objectives. Our catalog contains the models from the largest manufacturers: Gulfstream, Dassault, Embraer, Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, Learjet, Cessna, Beechcraft, Pilatus, HondaJet, etc. We have established partnerships with the world's largest airlines and VIP terminals, which means we can offer you favourable flight conditions and a high level of service. Our experts will manage the organization of your flight - starting with paperwork, agreements, etc., and ending with a transfer and meeting at the airport. Our company provides a full range of business aviation and concierge services. Warsaw Chopin has its own General Aviation Terminal, a short list of handlers and runways of 3,690 m and 2,800 m, but also a slot system with a strict rule for late-night movements, so the real decisions are the departure time, the cabin size and where the trip goes after landing.

At your request, the aviation consultants of Private Jets UK will help you choose the jet with the suitable technical parameters (production year, flight hours, and home base). The cost of the private jet charter in Warsaw depends on many factors, such as the model of the business jet, the number of passengers, departure and destination airports, type of flight, duration of parking, additional services, etc. Therefore, we calculate the price of each order individually taking into account your wishes. You can use an online calculator to get an instant charter quote. Please indicate your real contact details to get the final calculation.
You can calculate the cost of your flight in several ways:
- using an online calculator on the website (however, it shows only the approximate price);
- via Messenger (WhatsApp or Telegram);
- by landline or cell phone;
- via e-mail (jets@private-jets.co.uk).
Please note that the above-mentioned price is indicative only. It is calculated on this basis: a departure from London City, a Cessna Citation CJ3+ and two passengers aboard. If you want to get a personal quote, just fill out the online booking form below. Our aviation consultant will make the calculation within 20 minutes, and then contact you to specify the details of the flight.
How long does it take to fly to Warsaw?
Two hours twenty is the working figure from the London fields in a light jet, and Poland keeps Central European time, so the watch goes forward by one hour on arrival; the clocks change on the same dates as Britain. At 805 to 954 nautical miles this is the middle of short-haul: a sector a light jet flies without strain, and one on which a midsize cabin begins to earn its extra cost once the party passes four. The table gives the sector from each British field we use.

Door to door, and the clock on the wall
Leave a London airfield at seven in the morning and you are on the ground at Chopin a little after ten local time. The airport is about 10 km from the centre of Warsaw, and a car typically needs 20 to 30 minutes outside the rush hour, so a client who walked out of a London office at half past six can be in a Warsaw meeting room before noon. Add the drive to the British airfield and the processing at both ends and the whole journey from central London to central Warsaw comes to roughly four and a half hours, against most of a working day by a scheduled connection.
Light jet or midsize: the question that actually comes up on this route
– Up to four people with ordinary bags, a light jet is a fair answer and the saving is real. Two hours twenty in a CJ3+ or a Phenom is comfortable, and nothing about the sector asks for more range;
– Past four people, or with presentation kit, camera cases, a pushchair or a dog, we quote a midsize jet beside it so you see both figures. The Challenger 350, the Learjet 75 and the Citation XLS are the types a charter operator lists as the most frequent business visitors to Chopin, which tells you where the market has settled;
– A heavy jet makes sense for a delegation travelling as one party, for an aircraft that stays with you across several European stops, or for a trip in which Warsaw is only the first leg.

Prices for the private jet flights to Warsaw
Typical trips from Britain, cheapest first, all of them into Chopin Airport. The autumn festival weeks, the security and business conference days and any departure that has to fall late at night sit above these figures, and the calendar block further down explains when.

Poland from the air: when a turboprop earns its place
Kraków is 138 nautical miles from Warsaw and Gdańsk 167, so a Pilatus PC-12 covers the first in about 50 minutes and the second in about an hour, and a flight within Poland carries no border formalities at all. Kraków is the airport for the southern cities and for the mountains behind them; Gdańsk is the airport for the Baltic coast, and from there it is a drive to the beach towns. A helicopter operator lists Gdynia at about 1 h 25 min and Zakopane at about 1 h 40 min from Warsaw in a Bell 407, so for the coast and the Tatras the usual plan is a fast fixed-wing leg to the nearest airport and a short transfer after it. Vilnius, at 223 nautical miles, is the sector that appears when a Warsaw trip is combined with the Baltic states, and all of these neighbours are inside Schengen, so the only passport check on a loop is the first landing.
Before you accept an onward quote from Warsaw
– Check which Warsaw airport the quote names. Chopin, Modlin and Radom are about 10, 35 to 40 and 100 km from the city, and a quote that gives only the word Warsaw will be revised once the real field is chosen;
– Check whether the legs are one booking. Warsaw, Kraków and Gdańsk over three days cost less as a single trip, because the aircraft and crew stay with you instead of returning to base between stops, and a late departure that the Chopin night rule would block can often be moved to a morning one.
Prices depending on the type of business jet
We can clearly show the high dependence of the cost of the flight, on the type of aircraft - we have collected approximate data, at the price of 1 flight hour, for various types of business jets:

The cost per hour indicated in the table is preliminary and does not constitute an offer or a commercial offer. Exact prices are available from the managers of the company.
Online Calculator
If you want to make an urgent calculation of the cost of a private plane flight, use our online calculator. Just fill in all the fields of the form with a note that you are interested in a specific model of the aircraft and get the final price. NB! - the figures are sent to you by email or messenger, please carefully fill in the contact details to get the calculation.
All our calculations are as transparent as possible for you. After receiving the request, we will prepare a beautiful offer - where the costs and the final price will be clearly described. The exact price is agreed in advance and is written in the contract, so you can be sure of the final cost.
Private jets are ready to take off
Our database contains over 6,500 business jets (about 3,500 in Europe and 3,000 in the rest of the world) of different configurations and production years. The list of models is constantly updated. Unfortunately, we can't post a full list of available jets on our website due to confidentiality issues. Please contact the managers of the company for more accurate information. We will help you choose a suitable model taking into account your wishes. These are the typical choices for Warsaw:
Light jets, for a short and light party
At two hours twenty this is a comfortable sit for three or four people with modest bags. Nothing here lacks the range for Warsaw, so the money goes on the hour and not on capability you will not use.
Midsize, the class that fills Chopin
A team with a laptop each, a roadshow with presentation kit or a family with a week of luggage is what pushes a booking past the light-jet hold, and this is the class most business visitors to Warsaw choose.
Super-midsize and large
For a delegation travelling as one party, for a team that works in the air, and for trips that carry on from Warsaw to the Gulf or beyond rather than turning round.
Turboprops
The right aircraft for the Polish domestic legs: Kraków and Gdańsk are about an hour or less in the air, and the saving over a jet on that distance is large.
Helicopters
Not for the flight from Britain but for the last stretch: the Baltic coast, the Tatras, a lakeside house in Masuria or a villa with no runway. Where a helicopter may land is agreed before the quote.

This is a small part of what is available. Warsaw sits in the middle of the Central European fleet, so outside the festival weeks there is usually an aircraft already within an hour or so of Chopin, in Prague, Berlin, Vilnius or Kraków, and that is often where the better price comes from.

Business aviation airports in Warsaw
One airport does the work. The other names that turn up on a Warsaw quote are real airfields, but each of the two nearest comes with a catch that decides whether it is worth the saving.
| Airport | What it gives you |
|---|---|
| Warsaw Chopin, Okęcie WAW / EPWA |
The answer for almost every trip. About 10 km from the centre, with two runways, 15/33 of 3,690 m and 11/29 of 2,800 m, so nothing we send is limited by length. Business aviation uses the General Aviation Terminal, where the handling directories list Excel Handling (VIP lounges, meet and greet, customs handling), Welcome Executive and LS Airport Services, and Jet A-1 is available at the airport. It is an airport of entry with customs, slots are required and handling is compulsory |
| Warsaw Modlin WMI / EPMO |
The second Warsaw airport, near Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki, about 35 to 40 km from the city, with a single runway of 2,500 by 60 metres. It is used mainly by low-cost airlines, though Welcome Airport Services and LS Airport Services list handling there. A possible fallback when Chopin cannot offer the slot, and a poor first choice for a client whose meeting is in the city, because the road leg is about four times longer. Border control and the slot for your date are confirmed before we quote it |
| Warsaw Radom RDO / EPRA |
About 100 km south of Warsaw, a few kilometres east of the town of Radom, with a 2,500 by 45 metre runway on a joint civil and military airfield. The runway would take any jet we send, but we found no business aviation handler or terminal we could confirm, and the road to the capital cancels the time saved. It appears here so that a quote naming it can be queried, and it makes sense only for a trip whose destination is Radom itself |
| Kraków and Gdańsk KRK / EPKK, GDN / EPGD |
Not alternatives to Warsaw but the other ends of Polish trips: Kraków for the south, Gdańsk for the Baltic coast. Both take jets and turboprops from Warsaw in about an hour or less. Operators also name Poznań, Łódź or Katowice as alternates, which is useful to know when weather closes Chopin |
Four points settle most Warsaw arrivals:
Choose the handler
At Chopin the handler is chosen with the operator, not with the airport. Excel Handling is described as a full-service FBO with lounges in the General Aviation Terminal; Welcome Executive lists a round-the-clock desk, VIP catering and hotel booking; LS Airport Services offers executive aviation handling. Prices and ramp services differ, so we ask the operator for its preference and confirm the handler in writing before you pay.
Hours, slots and the night rule
Chopin is listed as open round the clock, but every movement needs a slot from the airport coordinator. The environmental night runs from 22:00 to 06:00 and is limited by noise quota points, and the core night period, 23:30 to 05:30, is closed to ad hoc and positioning flights under the airport's local rule as we last read it. A departure after dinner therefore has a hard edge at about half past eleven, and a delay of more than two hours needs a fresh slot. We confirm any late movement in writing first.
Border and passport
Poland is in Schengen and Britain is not, so you pass the border check on arrival, normally inside the General Aviation Terminal. British passport holders need no visa for up to 90 days in any 180, with a passport issued less than ten years ago and valid for at least three months beyond the day you leave. On a first visit the border may ask for a photograph and fingerprints.
Car and the approach roads
The airport is only about 10 km from the centre, but the approach roads slow noticeably at the morning and evening peaks, so we time the car to the hour and not to the distance. Give us the handler as well as the flight, because a driver told only airport may wait at the wrong door. For an autumn festival weekend, put the late car in the quote from the start.

Border, passport and the way home
Because Poland is inside Schengen, the first landing is where the formalities happen, and everything after that, a hop to Vilnius or a flight on to Kraków or Gdańsk, is free of border control. The way home runs the other way: Britain treats the aircraft as arriving from abroad, so a General Aviation Report is filed not earlier than 48 hours and not later than two hours before departure, and passengers pass the border at the British airfield. Visitors who need no visa for Britain generally still need an Electronic Travel Authorisation unless they are British or Irish citizens. We file the paperwork; you bring passports that are in date.

From the apron to the Old Town
Warsaw is a big, flat, rebuilt capital on the Vistula, and the airport is on its south-western side, close enough that the transfer is rarely the problem. The distances that matter run out to the second airport, to the coast and the mountains, and to the lakes in the north-east.
about 10 km, which is why one airport carries almost all the jet traffictypically 20 to 30 minutes

Flying to Warsaw with a dog or a cat
For a pet the paperwork is the part of a Polish trip that needs planning, and the flight is the easy bit: the animal sits beside you in the cabin, never in a hold, and on a sector of two hours and a bit most simply sleep. The date on the health certificate is the detail to get right, since it lasts ten days from the day it is issued.

What Poland, as an EU country, asks for:
- An ISO microchip, fitted before or at the same time as the rabies vaccination, never after it. The Polish veterinary inspectorate lists individual identification, a valid rabies vaccination and a health certificate as the basics for animals arriving from outside the EU;
- A rabies vaccination given when the animal was at least 12 weeks old, with 21 days elapsed before entry, and boosters kept on schedule;
- An Animal Health Certificate from an Official Veterinarian, valid for ten days for entry to the EU and for the return to Britain as stated on the certificate. A British pet passport is not accepted for entry to the EU;
- No more than five animals per traveller, presented at a travellers' point of entry, and we confirm which one applies to the airport and the date;
- No tapeworm treatment on the way in, because Poland is not among the countries that ask for it (those are Finland, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Malta and Norway);
- For dogs, a tapeworm treatment from a vet between 24 and 120 hours before arrival back in Britain, recorded with product, date and time. Cats are exempt.
What catches owners out on the Warsaw run
– The tapeworm treatment is a vet appointment you book in Warsaw, towards the end of the stay, and the 24 to 120 hour window is counted back from landing in Britain. If the departure moves, for example because a late slot is refused at Chopin, the window moves with it, so we fix the departure time before the appointment;
– The order of the chip and the vaccine matters, and a pet passport issued in England, Scotland or Wales cannot be used to enter the EU. The certificate has to be a new one for each trip, and an animal that arrives without valid papers may be refused entry or sent back at the owner's expense;
– An autumn festival weekend with a dog is an ordinary booking. Settle the hotel and any onward helicopter before the quote, because each one has to accept the animal separately.
Requirements for cats, ferrets, birds and anything less usual are collected on our flying with pets guide. For the flight home, we confirm the entry point and the paperwork for the animal in writing before the flight.
The Warsaw calendar: a capital of Chopin, security talks and autumn festivals
Warsaw's year has a plain shape. Spring and summer belong to the parks and the open-air concerts, August carries the memory of the Rising and a Chopin festival, and the busiest weeks of all fall in September and October, when conferences, a marathon, film and jazz arrive together. Knowing which week you want matters more than choosing an aircraft.
Why a festival week costs more
Not the flying. The European light and midsize fleet is large and Warsaw is well placed in it. What gets tight is the slot at Chopin, the late-evening departure that the night rule makes difficult, and the good cars and rooms, all in the same week. A booking made a fortnight before the Security Forum or an October festival weekend can still be done, but it pays more and may mean an aircraft flown in from Prague, Berlin or Vilnius. The same booking made five or six weeks earlier is simpler and cheaper. Outside those weeks Warsaw is an easy capital to charter into, usually in a day or two, though a snowy morning means allowing time for de-icing.
Ways to bring the Warsaw price down
- Shift the dates by a few days if the diary allows. The week after the Security Forum is calm, and so is the stretch between the Marathon and the October festivals;
- Plan the return for the evening before the night rule bites. A departure at half past nine is an ordinary slot request, while one at midnight is a special one that may be refused;
- Ask where the aircraft is based. A jet already in Prague, Berlin or Vilnius takes less positioning than one flown out from Britain, and on a sector of this length the positioning is a visible slice of the invoice.
Types of flights
Warsaw produces a different mix from the Alpine or the Mediterranean destinations we cover, because the city is the capital of a large economy, a seat of government and the host of a long run of conferences, with a skyline topped by the tallest building in the European Union, the Varso Tower at over 310 metres.
- Business and finance travel, with fixed meeting dates, a small team and a request to be back in Britain the same evening;
- Defence, security and government delegations, which are tied to the conference calendar and care most about arrival formalities and a protocol car;
- Culture weekends built around Chopin, the film festival or Jazz Jamboree, usually a party of two to four with formal clothes;
- Domestic and regional hops to Kraków, Gdańsk and Vilnius, often added to a Warsaw stop;
- Summer trips to the Masurian lakes or the Baltic coast, where Warsaw is the airport and the holiday is somewhere else;
- Day trips from London, which at two hours twenty each way are a long day but a workable one.
The day trip is worth a closer look. Wheels up at seven, on the ground at about twenty past ten local time, and off again at six in the evening gives you about seven hours in the city and puts you back in Britain a little before half past seven. The crew sits out the meetings at the General Aviation Terminal and that waiting time is charged, yet the total is usually below two one-way charters, and we price the route both ways so you can compare. The one thing to watch is the end of the day: a meeting that runs on towards half past ten leaves the aircraft facing the night rule, so we build the return time with a margin.
Empty Legs
Some jets cross Europe with nobody aboard, moving to their next job, and the operator will sell that seat-free leg cheaply rather than fly it for nothing. That is an empty leg. On the Warsaw route the supply follows the conference and festival calendar more than the working week.
Where Warsaw empty legs come from
– Conference and forum days. When delegations arrive on charters from across Europe, the aircraft often leave empty a day or two later, and the outbound leg in the days after is the one most often offered;
– Festival and concert weekends. Aircraft bring guests in for the Friday and go home empty on the Sunday, so the evening leg back towards London or Central Europe is the common one. Under the airport's night rule positioning flights cannot use the core night period, so these legs tend to be released for the evening or for the next morning;
– Central European rotation. Operators moving between Prague, Berlin, Kraków and Vilnius put short regional legs on the market, and those short hops can be cheap.
Because the Warsaw corridor is thinner than the busiest London routes, a client who can name a few days rather than one has a far better chance than one who needs a particular evening. What you give up is the usual: the operator owns the date and the hour, and a leg can vanish when the original booking moves. Whatever is free is listed on our empty legs page, and we flag a Warsaw match the day an operator releases it.

Helicopter charter
In Warsaw a helicopter is a tool for the edges of a trip and not the middle. The capital is flat and the airport is close, so the places where rotary flight changes the journey are the Baltic coast, the Tatras and the lakes. One operator lists Warsaw Babice as its departure point for these routes, with Bell 407 times (one way) that give a feel for the distances.
on the Baltic coast, in a Bell 407; the Airbus H130 is quoted at about 1 h 30 minabout 1 h 25 min
a resort town on the Hel peninsulaabout 1 h 30 min
the Tatra resort in the southabout 1 h 40 min
about 320 km to Giżycko or Mikołajki, which is why a lakeside weekend is worth pricing both waysabout 4 hours
Before you plan around a helicopter
– Rotary flight is limited by where it may set down. A landing away from an aerodrome needs an agreed site and the landowner's consent, so we check the status of a hotel lawn or a lakeside house before the quote is written;
– Polish winter sets the schedule. Snow, freezing rain and low cloud can stop a helicopter on a day when the jet lands without trouble, so a transfer needs a road alternative planned into the same day;
– The times above are single-operator figures for one type. A different machine, a different pickup point or a stop for fuel changes them, so treat them as an order of magnitude and ask for the figure for your date.
The machines on this ground are the Airbus H125 for mountain and coastal work, the wider H130 for scenic and villa transfers, the H135 where a twin is wanted, and the Bell 407 that Warsaw operators fly. We book them alongside the jet so that both crews work to one timetable.

Warsaw charters from the booking notes: six typical trips
What the corridor looks like once a quote turns into a flight. Six typical jobs of the kind that come through our booking notes, described in outline, with the particulars changed.
DAY TRIP · OUT AND BACK
A working day in Warsaw and home for the evening
Biggin Hill - Warsaw and return, Citation CJ3+, about 2 h 20 min each way · 4 pax
Four people left a London airfield at seven, landed at Chopin a little after ten local time and went straight into an afternoon of meetings in the centre. The aircraft stayed at the General Aviation Terminal with its crew, and that wait was a line in the quote, but the total was still lower than two one-way charters. Home before half past seven. A long day that does the job.
CULTURE WEEKEND · FORMAL CLOTHES
Four friends, a concert and a film
Farnborough - Warsaw, Phenom 300E, about 2 h 15 min · 4 pax
An October weekend built around a jazz evening and a festival screening. Evening clothes took more of the hold than four seats would suggest, so the hold was checked before the aircraft was confirmed. The handler confirmed the slot with the outbound, the car met the aircraft at the terminal, and the return was fixed for the Sunday afternoon.
CONFERENCE WEEK · FIXED DATES
A delegation for a defence and security forum
London Luton - Warsaw, Citation XLS+, about 2 h 15 min · 8 pax
The dates were set by the programme and not by the client. Eight people, laptops, printed briefing folders and a request for a protocol car at the aircraft door. The booking went in six weeks ahead, the handler pre-arranged the border check at the terminal, and the aircraft left Luton on time with nothing to explain.
NIGHT RULE · THE DEPARTURE MOVED
A dinner that was always going to run late
Warsaw - London City, Citation CJ3+, about 2 h 20 min · 3 pax
The client wanted to leave after a dinner and named a quarter to midnight. Under the airport's rule that falls inside the closed core night period for ad hoc flights, so we said so at the quote stage and offered either a departure before half past ten or an early morning one. They chose the evening, the car was waiting, and nobody spent the night wondering about a slot.
A DOG ON BOARD · TWO CERTIFICATES
Four adults and a spaniel for an autumn weekend
Southampton - Warsaw, Citation XLS+, about 2 h 20 min · 4 pax + dog
The Animal Health Certificate had to be dated inside ten days of arrival, and the vet appointment in Warsaw for the tapeworm treatment had to fall between 24 and 120 hours before the flight home. We booked both with the aircraft, the hotel took the dog, and the whole thing was settled in a single exchange of messages rather than three.
EMPTY LEG · SUNDAY EVENING WEST
A jet already going your way
Warsaw - London Luton, Phenom 300E empty leg, about 2 h 10 min · 3 pax
The aircraft had brought a party in for the weekend and was going home empty. The client gave us a three-day window instead of a date, which is what makes these work, and paid well below a fresh one-way charter for a Sunday evening departure to the London fields.
Frequently asked questions about flying to Warsaw
1How long is a private jet flight from London to Warsaw?
About 2 hours 20 minutes from London City or Biggin Hill in a light jet, and around 2 hours 10 minutes to 2 hours 15 minutes from Luton or Farnborough in a Phenom, covering roughly 805 to 840 nautical miles. From Birmingham or Manchester allow about 2 hours 20 minutes in a midsize cabin, and from Edinburgh or Glasgow around 2 hours 25 minutes to 2 hours 30 minutes. Warsaw is one hour ahead of Britain, so a seven o'clock departure lands shortly after ten local time.
2How much does a private jet to Warsaw cost?
From about £11,100 one way on a light jet out of London City, and £11,150 from Biggin Hill. A Phenom from Luton or Farnborough runs £11,250 to £11,550, a midsize cabin costs £14,650 from Birmingham and £15,300 from Bristol, and from Scotland allow £19,100 to £19,750. The Security Forum days, the October festival weekends and any departure that needs a late slot price above these figures.
3Which airport should a private jet use for Warsaw?
Warsaw Chopin (WAW / EPWA) for almost every trip. It is about 10 km from the centre, has runways of 3,690 m and 2,800 m, and a General Aviation Terminal served by handlers including Excel Handling, Welcome Executive and LS Airport Services. Slots are required and handling is compulsory. Modlin (WMI / EPMO), 35 to 40 km away, is a possible fallback when Chopin cannot give a slot, and Radom (RDO / EPRA), about 100 km away, is only for trips to Radom itself.
4When should I book, and can I leave Warsaw late at night?
Outside the peaks a day or two is usually enough. For the Security Forum, the September marathon weekend and the October film and jazz weeks, allow four to six weeks. Chopin is open round the clock, but every movement needs a slot, and the core night period from 23:30 to 05:30 is closed to ad hoc and positioning flights under the airport's local rule as we last read it, so a departure after about half past eleven needs written confirmation first.
5Can I fly on from Warsaw to Kraków, Gdańsk or the Masurian lakes?
Kraków is 138 nautical miles from Warsaw and Gdańsk 167, so a Pilatus PC-12 does either in about 50 minutes to an hour, with no border control on a domestic flight. The Masurian lakes are about 320 km from Warsaw, roughly four hours by road, so most clients drive or take a helicopter. One operator lists the Baltic coast at Gdynia at about 1 h 25 min in a Bell 407.
6Can I take my dog to Warsaw on a private jet?
Yes. The dog travels in the cabin with you, and Poland, as an EU country, asks for a microchip fitted before or with the rabies vaccination, a vaccination at least 21 days old and an Animal Health Certificate valid for ten days for entry. A British pet passport is not accepted. For the return to Britain a dog needs a tapeworm treatment from a vet between 24 and 120 hours before arrival. Cats are exempt from the treatment.
