Private jet charter in Valencia
A jet leaving a London airfield in the morning touches down on the Valencian plain a little over two hours later, and the airport it uses is a single-runway field only eight kilometres from the old town. Private Jets UK arranges the charter around whatever the trip is for: a week of March bonfires, a race weekend at Cheste, a villa on the coast or a board meeting that has to end by dinner. Our customers have access to 6,500 jets of all types and configurations available for rent. We will help you choose the best option based on your needs and objectives. Our catalog contains the models from the largest manufacturers: Gulfstream, Dassault, Embraer, Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, Learjet, Cessna, Beechcraft, Pilatus, HondaJet, etc. We have established partnerships with the world's largest airlines and VIP terminals, which means we can offer you favourable flight conditions and a high level of service. Our experts will manage the organization of your flight - starting with paperwork, agreements, etc., and ending with a transfer and meeting at the airport. Our company provides a full range of business aviation and concierge services. Valencia is easy to reach and easy to leave. It has one runway of 3,215 m, a general aviation terminal with a choice of handlers and no night closure, so the decisions that matter are the date, because the summer slot rules are strict, and what you plan to do on the ground.

At your request, the aviation consultants of Private Jets UK will help you choose the jet with the suitable technical parameters (production year, flight hours, and home base). The cost of the private jet charter in Valencia depends on many factors, such as the model of the business jet, the number of passengers, departure and destination airports, type of flight, duration of parking, additional services, etc. Therefore, we calculate the price of each order individually taking into account your wishes. You can use an online calculator to get an instant charter quote. Please indicate your real contact details to get the final calculation.
You can calculate the cost of your flight in several ways:
- using an online calculator on the website (however, it shows only the approximate price);
- via Messenger (WhatsApp or Telegram);
- by landline or cell phone;
- via e-mail (jets@private-jets.co.uk).
Please note that the above-mentioned price is indicative only. It is calculated on this basis: a departure from Southampton, a Cessna Citation CJ3+ and two passengers aboard. If you want to get a personal quote, just fill out the online booking form below. Our aviation consultant will make the calculation within 20 minutes, and then contact you to specify the details of the flight.
How long does it take to fly to Valencia?
Roughly 2 h 15 min from Farnborough in a light jet, a little more from the Midlands and the north of England, and about 2 h 50 min from Edinburgh or Glasgow in a Challenger. Spain keeps Central European time, which is one hour ahead of Britain, so a morning departure lands later on the clock than it does in the air. At 717 to 1,036 nautical miles this is a mid-range sector for a light jet and a comfortable one for anything larger. The table gives the sector from each British field we use.

Door to door, and the clock on the wall
Leave Farnborough at eight in the morning and you are on the ground at Valencia a little after eleven local time. The airport sits about 8 km west of the city, and the metro (lines 3 and 5) reaches the centre in roughly 15 minutes, although a charter passenger will normally be in a car: the handler ExecuJet lists drives of 6 to 28 minutes to the hotels it recommends. Put the flight, the short processing at both ends and the road together and central London to central Valencia comes to about four and a half hours, which makes lunch beside the Mediterranean from a London breakfast a realistic plan.
Light jet or midsize: the question that comes up on this route
– Up to four people with ordinary bags, a light jet is the right answer. At about 2 h 15 min a CJ3+ or Phenom is perfectly comfortable and the saving over a midsize cabin is real, about £2,500 each way from Farnborough;
– Golf clubs, a family with beach luggage, or a party that wants to stand up and work in the cabin are the cases where we quote a midsize jet beside the light one so both figures are in front of you. Luggage decides this far more often than passenger numbers do;
– Heavy aircraft earn their place when the party is large, when the same jet stays with you for a tour of Spain, or when Valencia is only the first stop on a longer trip.

Prices for the private jet flights to Valencia
Typical trips from Britain, cheapest first, all of them into the general aviation terminal at Valencia airport. The Fallas fortnight in March, the summer weekends and the MotoGP week in November sit above these figures, and the calendar block further down explains when.

Private jet flights from Valencia
Valencia is a good place to start a tour of the Spanish coast. The Balearics are a short hop across the water, Madrid and Barcelona are each about 160 nautical miles away, and Malaga and Seville bring the south within reach of a light jet. Typical one-way prices:

Valencia as a base for the islands and the cities
Ibiza is 98 nautical miles from Valencia and Palma 155, which is why a turboprop is the usual aircraft: a Pilatus PC-12 covers either sea crossing at a price a jet cannot match on so short a sector. The mainland cities are a different case. Madrid (160 nm) and Barcelona (166 nm) are quick in the air, but the airports at the far end are slot-controlled and busy, so handling and slot time carry as much of the price as the miles do. For Malaga and Seville, a light jet is comfortable and a Phenom 300E gives more room for luggage. The Balearic and Costa del Sol peak runs from May to October, and Ibiza demand gathers into July and August weekends.
Before you accept an onward quote from Valencia
– Whether the summer slot rule has been considered. Between 15 June and 15 September Valencia accepts slot requests for general and business aviation only up to 15 days ahead, so a summer flight out cannot be locked in months before. We say so at the quotation stage;
– Whether the itinerary is one booking. Valencia to Ibiza to Barcelona over a long weekend usually costs less arranged as a single trip, because the aircraft and crew stay with you instead of repositioning to Valencia between each stop.
Prices depending on the type of business jet
We can clearly show the high dependence of the cost of the flight, on the type of aircraft - we have collected approximate data, at the price of 1 flight hour, for various types of business jets:

The cost per hour indicated in the table is preliminary and does not constitute an offer or a commercial offer. Exact prices are available from the managers of the company.
Online Calculator
If you want to make an urgent calculation of the cost of a private plane flight, use our online calculator. Just fill in all the fields of the form with a note that you are interested in a specific model of the aircraft and get the final price. NB! - the figures are sent to you by email or messenger, please carefully fill in the contact details to get the calculation.
All our calculations are as transparent as possible for you. After receiving the request, we will prepare a beautiful offer - where the costs and the final price will be clearly described. The exact price is agreed in advance and is written in the contract, so you can be sure of the final cost.
Private jets are ready to take off
Our database contains over 6,500 business jets (about 3,500 in Europe and 3,000 in the rest of the world) of different configurations and production years. The list of models is constantly updated. Unfortunately, we can't post a full list of available jets on our website due to confidentiality issues. Please contact the managers of the company for more accurate information. We will help you choose a suitable model taking into account your wishes. These are the typical choices for Valencia:
Light jets, and where most bookings land
At just over two hours this is still the sensible class for four or five people with ordinary luggage. Every aircraft here has the range for Valencia, so the money goes on the flying hour and not on capability you will not use.
Midsize, for golf bags and beach luggage
Clubs, a week of holiday clothes for a family and the sports kit of a small team are what push a party past the light-jet hold.
Super-midsize and large
For a delegation travelling as one party, for a team that needs to work in the air, and for itineraries that carry on from Valencia to Madrid, Mallorca or beyond without turning round.
Turboprops
The right aircraft for the Balearic crossings and for the shorter Spanish legs: Ibiza and Palma are under an hour in a turboprop, and the saving over a jet on that distance is large.
Helicopters
Not for the flight from Britain but for the last stretch: the coast, a finca with no runway, or the trip to the race circuit. A helicopter cannot land just anywhere in Spain, so the landing site is agreed before the quote.

This is a small part of what is available. Valencia sits in the middle of the Spanish fleet, so for a booking that does not fall on the Fallas fortnight or a summer weekend there is usually an aircraft already within an hour of the airport, in Madrid, Barcelona, Alicante or Palma, and that is often where the better price comes from.

Business aviation airports in Valencia
One airport does nearly all of the work. The other two matter for specific reasons, and it helps to know them before a quote arrives with one of them in it.
| Airport | What it gives you |
|---|---|
| Valencia, Manises VLC / LEVC |
The answer for nearly every trip. About 8 km west of the city and run by Aena, it is open round the clock with a single 3,215 m asphalt runway and an instrument landing system at both ends. The landing distance on runway 30 is 2,915 m because of a displaced threshold, which suits every aircraft we send. ExecuJet's general aviation terminal has a VIP lounge and a crew briefing room, and five handlers are listed in the official aeronautical publication: United Aviation Services, ExecuJet Spain, Sky Valet Spain, General Aviation Service and Aviapartner Aviavip. Jet A-1 is supplied by truck. The airfield has no hangar space listed for visiting jets, apart from a Cessna maintenance hangar |
| Alicante-Elche ALC / LEAL |
The southern alternative, about 9 km south-west of Alicante, with a 3,000 m runway. It is the sensible landing for a trip that is really bound for the Costa Blanca, such as Alicante itself, because Valencia is 75 nautical miles away as the crow flies and a road transfer adds a long leg to an otherwise short hop. Also a fallback when Valencia is full |
| Castellón-Costa Azahar CDT / LECH |
A smaller field on the coast to the north, near Vilanova d'Alcolea and Benlloch, with a 2,700 m runway and scheduled flights from a few airlines. It sits 52 nautical miles from Valencia and is a niche choice for a stay on the northern stretch of the coast. We do not treat it as a rival to Valencia and confirm handling and customs with the operator before using it |
Four points settle most Valencia arrivals:
Choose the handler
Handling is compulsory at Valencia for every flight, including private ones, and the agent has to be named in item 18 of the flight plan. Several companies compete on the same apron, so we ask the operator for its preference and tell you who will meet you. ExecuJet, for example, offers lounge, catering, limousine and hotel arrangements on site.
Hours, slots and noise
The airport never closes, but customs, immigration, fuelling and handling run in published aerodrome hours, so a very late arrival is confirmed in writing first. Business flights need a slot from Aena, and between 15 June and 15 September requests are accepted only up to 15 days ahead. Night is 23:00 to 07:00, with noise monitoring and no reverse thrust from idle unless safety requires it.
Border and passport
Spain is in Schengen and Britain is not, so you are checked on arrival in Valencia, and British passport holders can stay up to 90 days in any 180 without a visa. Coming home the order reverses: a flight from Spain to Britain passes passport control as well as customs at the British airport.
Car and big aircraft
Tell us the handler as well as the flight, because a driver sent to the wrong door will wait there. Large VIP airliners may need a higher fire-cover category than the standard category 7; levels 8 and 9 are provided exceptionally and must be requested at least 15 days ahead.

Border, passport and the way home
Arrival in Valencia is straightforward and your handler arranges it. The part that deserves attention is the flight back. Britain is outside Schengen, so on arrival at the British airport passengers pass passport control as well as customs. A private flight must be notified in advance by a General Aviation Report, filed not earlier than 48 hours and not later than 2 hours before departure, and the penalties are real: £2,500 for a first landing at a non-regulated aerodrome and £2,000 per passenger without permission. We file this for you and name the airfield on the booking, so nothing is left to the day.

From the apron to the old town
Valencia is a flat city of short distances. From the airport you are in the centre before a cup of coffee cools, and the figures that matter are the ones that run outward, to the racing circuit, to the tomato town and to the Costa Blanca.

Flying to Valencia with a dog or a cat
Spain is among the easier destinations to fly with an animal, and the flight is short enough that most pets sleep through it. The animal sits beside you in the cabin and not in a hold. What matters is the paperwork, and above all the dates on it, because the health certificate has a ten-day life from the day it is issued.

What Spain asks for on the way in:
- An ISO microchip, fitted before the rabies vaccination or on the same day, never after it;
- A rabies vaccination given when the animal was at least 12 weeks old, with 21 days elapsed before entry;
- An Animal Health Certificate from an Official Veterinarian, valid for ten days for entry to the EU and also used for the return to Britain as stated on the certificate;
- No more than five animals per traveller, presented at the first point of entry into the EU, which our handler arranges at the terminal;
- A British pet passport is not accepted for entry to the EU, so a fresh certificate is needed for every trip.
The return to Britain, and what catches owners out
– Dogs need a tapeworm treatment from a vet between 24 and 120 hours before arrival in Britain, recorded with the product, date and time. Cats do not. In Valencia that means a vet appointment towards the end of the stay, and not something to do before leaving;
– A pet travel document and a declaration go with the animal. Rules for animals that do not meet them can mean quarantine of up to four months, and we check every document before the aircraft is booked;
– A private flight into Britain has no published approved-route text of its own for pets, so we confirm the entry point and the paperwork for the animal in writing before the flight. A hotel must accept the animal as well, and a helicopter operator has to agree to it separately.
Requirements for cats, ferrets, birds and anything less usual are collected on our flying with pets guide, and our managers confirm the position in writing for your dates before a booking is taken.
The Valencia calendar: bonfires, motorbikes and a summer fiesta
Valencia has one date that dwarfs the rest and a handful that fill the aprons in a quieter way. Knowing which week you want matters more than choosing an aircraft.
Why a Fallas week costs more
Not the flying. The Spanish light and midsize fleet is large and Valencia is well placed in it. What gets tight is the handler's time, the apron and good cars, all in the same days, together with a hotel stock that sells out early. A booking made a fortnight before 15 March can still be done, but it pays more and may mean an aircraft positioned from Madrid or Barcelona. The same booking made five or six weeks earlier is simpler and cheaper. Outside those weeks Valencia is one of the easier Spanish airports to charter into, and a flight can often be arranged in a day or two. In summer the 15-day slot window is the thing to plan around.
Ways to bring the Valencia price down
- Move the dates a few days where you can. The week after 19 March is calm, and October, between the September fair and the MotoGP finale, is usually a quieter month;
- Ask where the aircraft is based. A jet already in Madrid, Barcelona or Palma needs less positioning than one coming from Britain, and on a sector of this length positioning is a meaningful share of the bill;
- Take the light jet unless the luggage says otherwise. Four people and four bags do not need a midsize, and the money saved buys the car and the hotel.
Types of flights
Valencia produces a different mix from the resort destinations we cover. It is a working Mediterranean port, a trade-fair city and a festival city at once, and the bookings reflect it.
- Festival weekends, above all Fallas in March, where a party flies in for two or three nights and leaves the morning after the burning;
- Trade-fair and business trips tied to Feria Valencia, with fixed dates and early departures;
- Motorsport weekends at Cheste, flown in for the MotoGP finale;
- Coastal and island holidays that start in Valencia and move to Ibiza, Mallorca or the Costa Blanca by air;
- Day trips from London, which at a little over two hours each way are a long day but a workable one.
The day trip deserves a closer look. A same-day return means the aircraft and crew wait for you rather than going home, and that waiting is paid for, but it usually still comes out cheaper than two separate one-way charters. Leaving at eight and coming back at nine in the evening gives you a full working day in Valencia and a bed in your own house, and on this route we quote it both ways so the difference is visible.
Empty Legs
An empty leg is a repositioning flight with nobody aboard, offered at a fraction of the usual price. On the Valencia route they come from the pattern of events and not from sheer volume, and it helps to know what produces them.
Where Valencia empty legs come from
– Fallas and the other festival weekends. Aircraft come in on the Friday with a party and leave empty after the weekend, and the leg back towards Britain or Madrid on Sunday or Monday is the one most often offered;
– Race and marathon weekends. When riders, teams and spectators fly into Cheste, the aircraft often leave empty a day or two later, producing outbound legs in the days after;
– Island rotation. Through the summer operators move aircraft between Valencia, Ibiza and Palma, and the short legs between them can be cheap.
Because the Valencia corridor is thinner than the busiest London routes, a client who can name a few days rather than one has a far better chance than one who needs a particular evening. What you give up is the usual: the operator owns the date and the hour, and a leg can vanish when the original booking moves. Whatever is free is listed on our empty legs page, and we flag a Valencia match the day an operator releases it.

Helicopter charter
In Valencia a helicopter is a tool for the edges of a trip, not the middle. The city is flat and the old town small, and the journeys where rotary flight changes the day are the ones to the coast, to the race circuit and to a house with its own lawn.
helicopters normally use the main runway area; air-taxi parking positions are set aside on the aproncoordinated by the handler
about 15 km from the airport and about 20 km from the city, where the roads fillon request
La Tomatina town, about 40 km west of Valenciaon request
to a villa, a marina or a hotel, subject to a landing site that is authorisedon request
by arrangement with the operatoron request
Before you plan around a helicopter
– A helicopter in Spain cannot land wherever it likes. A hotel lawn, a marina or a private finca needs its status confirmed before we quote, not after, and we do not promise a site until the operator has accepted it;
– Wind and weather set the schedule. A strong wind or low cloud can stop a helicopter on a day when the jet lands without trouble, so a transfer needs a road alternative planned into the same day;
– For race weekends and the Fallas fortnight, book the helicopter together with the jet or expect to be told there is no rotary capacity.
The machines on this ground are the Airbus H125 for short coastal work, the wider H130 for scenic and villa transfers, the Bell 429 where a twin is wanted, and the H155 for larger parties. We book them alongside the jet so that both crews work to one timetable.

Valencia charters from the booking notes: six typical trips
What the corridor looks like once a quote turns into a flight. Six typical jobs of the kind that come through our booking notes, described in outline, with the particulars changed.
FALLAS · THE BURNING WEEKEND
Five friends and a morning-after departure
Farnborough - Valencia, Citation XLS+, about 2 h 10 min · 5 pax
A party flew in on the Thursday before the main days and stayed for the cremà on the night of 19 March. The hotel stock was the hard part, so the hotel was settled before the aircraft was confirmed. The return left the following morning from the same terminal, with the handler told in advance that the clients would be late.
DAY TRIP · OUT AND BACK
A midday meeting at the trade fair and home for dinner
Biggin Hill - Valencia and return, Citation CJ3+, about 2 h 20 min each way · 3 pax
Wheels up at eight, on the ground in Valencia a little after eleven local time and in a meeting room by one. The aircraft and crew waited at the general aviation terminal rather than going home, which is a real line in the quote and usually still came in below two separate one-way charters. It is a long day and it works.
MOTOGP FINALE · THE ROAD DECIDES
A hospitality group for the Cheste weekend
London Luton - Valencia, Citation XLS+, about 2 h 15 min · 8 pax
The circuit is about 15 km from the airport and about 20 km from the city, and on the race weekend the road is the slowest part of the journey. The handler pre-arranged cars at the aircraft door and a departure time that avoided the exit traffic. The aircraft was booked six weeks ahead because the apron fills.
SUMMER · A DOG ON BOARD
Two adults, two children and a labrador in July
Southampton - Valencia, Citation CJ3+, about 2 h 15 min · 4 pax + dog
The Animal Health Certificate had to be dated inside ten days of arrival, and the vet appointment in Valencia for the tapeworm treatment had to fall between 24 and 120 hours before the flight home. The slot for the return could not be requested more than 15 days ahead, so it was applied for the moment the window opened. The villa was on the coast and the dog took the transfer in its stride.
ISLAND HOP · ACROSS THE WATER
A weekend in Ibiza after a night in Valencia
Valencia - Ibiza, Pilatus PC-12, one leg of a three-day trip · 6 pax
The clients arrived in Valencia from Britain on a light jet and moved on to Ibiza on the Saturday. A turboprop was cheaper for the short sector than a second jet, and holding the Valencia leg and the island leg as one booking meant the aircraft and crew were already in place.
EMPTY LEG · SUNDAY EVENING WEST
A jet already going your way
Valencia - London Luton, Phenom 300E empty leg, about 2 h 15 min · 3 pax
The aircraft had brought a party in for the weekend and was going home empty. The client gave us a three-day window instead of a date, which is what makes these work, and paid well below a fresh one-way charter for a Sunday evening departure to the London fields.
Frequently asked questions about flying to Valencia
1How long is a private jet flight from London to Valencia?
About 2 hours 15 minutes from Farnborough or Southampton in a light jet, and 2 hours 20 minutes from Biggin Hill or London City, covering roughly 717 to 751 nautical miles. From Birmingham or Manchester allow about 2 hours 25 to 2 hours 30, and from Edinburgh or Glasgow around 2 hours 50 in a Challenger. Valencia is one hour ahead of Britain, so a morning departure lands later on the clock than in the air.
2How much does a private jet to Valencia cost?
From about £10,050 one way on a light jet out of Southampton and £10,300 from Farnborough. A seven-seat Phenom runs £10,500 to £10,750 from Bristol, Cardiff and Luton, a midsize Citation XLS+ £13,850 to £14,700 from Birmingham and Manchester, and from Scotland allow about £21,200. The Fallas fortnight in March, summer weekends and the MotoGP finale in November price above these figures.
3Which airport should a private jet use for Valencia?
Valencia airport at Manises (VLC / LEVC) for almost every trip. It is about 8 km west of the city, open round the clock, has a single 3,215 m runway and a general aviation terminal, and handling is compulsory. Alicante-Elche (ALC / LEAL) is the alternative for the Costa Blanca, and Castellón (CDT / LECH) is a niche choice to the north.
4When should I book a private jet to Valencia?
Outside the peaks a day or two is usually enough. For Fallas, which peaks from 15 to 19 March, allow five to six weeks. Between 15 June and 15 September Valencia accepts slot requests for general and business aviation only up to 15 days before the flight, so a summer return is requested as soon as that window opens.
5Can I fly on from Valencia to Ibiza, Palma or Madrid?
Yes. Ibiza is 98 nautical miles from Valencia and Palma 155, and a turboprop such as a Pilatus PC-12 is the usual aircraft for either, from £3,100 one way. Madrid and Barcelona are quick light-jet sectors, both from £5,300.
6Can I take my dog to Valencia on a private jet?
Yes. The dog travels in the cabin with you, and Spain asks for a microchip, a rabies vaccination at least 21 days old, and an Animal Health Certificate valid for ten days for entry. For the return to Britain a dog needs a tapeworm treatment from a vet between 24 and 120 hours before arrival. Cats are exempt from the treatment.
