Private jet charter to Pattaya
At 5,218 nautical miles from Luton, Pattaya is among the longest sectors we sell, and the first thing to settle is not the cabin but the range. Most of the fleet cannot make it without stopping to refuel, and the aircraft that can are a short list. The airport is U-Tapao, a Royal Thai Navy field built for American B-52s, about forty-five minutes down the coast from the resort. Our customers have access to 6500 jets of all types and configurations available for rent. We will help you choose the best option based on your needs and objectives. Our catalog contains the models from the largest manufacturers: Gulfstream, Dassault, Embraer, Bombardier, Learjet, Cessna, Beechcraft, Pilatus, HondaJet, etc. For 15 years of successful work, we have established partnerships with the world’s largest airlines and VIP terminals, which means we can offer you the most favorable flight conditions and a high level of service. Our experts will manage the organization of your flight - starting with paperwork, agreements, etc., and ending with a transfer and meeting at the airport. Our company provides a full range of business aviation and concierge services. The aircraft that fly this sector are long-range types based at the London fields, in the Gulf and across Asia, and a good number of these bookings start with one already positioned east of Europe. Thailand requires a landing permit and a parking slot for every private arrival, and our operations desk files both well ahead of departure rather than on the day.

At your request, the aviation consultants of Private Jets UK will help you choose the jet with the suitable technical parameters (production year, flight hours, and home base). The cost of the private jet charter to Pattaya depends on many factors, such as the model of the business jet, the number of passengers, departure and destination airports, type of flight, duration of parking, additional services, etc. Therefore, we calculate the price of each order individually taking into account your wishes. You can use an online calculator to get an instant charter quote. Please indicate your real contact details to get the final calculation.
You can calculate the cost of your flight in several ways:
- using an online calculator on the website (however, it shows only the approximate price);
- via Messenger (WhatsApp or Telegram);
- by landline or cell phone;
- via e-mail (jets@private-jets.co.uk).
Every price on this page is indicative and put together the way a real quote is: a named aircraft on a named sector, the passenger count shown. The tables below give current levels, and a personal calculation takes our consultant about 20 minutes through any form here.
How long does it take to fly to Pattaya (UTP)?
Eleven hours and eight minutes from Luton on a Gulfstream G550, over a sector of 5,218 nautical miles flown without stopping. A faster cabin brings that down: ten hours thirty-eight from Manchester on a G650ER, ten thirty-six from Edinburgh on a Global 7500. Add an hour and a half to two hours for any aircraft that needs to refuel on the way. U-Tapao is about forty-five minutes by road from Pattaya.
These are the sectors we fly most often into Pattaya. Times include the climb and the descent and assume no technical stop, which is only true of the aircraft named:

Two things that move the price on this route
– Whether the aircraft stops. A technical stop, usually in the Gulf or western India, adds between an hour and a half and two hours to the journey, plus handling and fuel charges at the stop. On a smaller cabin it can still work out cheaper overall than a non-stop type, and it is a calculation worth doing rather than assuming;
– The direction of the empty return. Eleven hours home with nobody aboard is expensive, so the largest single saving available on this route comes from matching a return leg. Aircraft repositioning between Europe and Asia pass through often, and the empty legs on this corridor are worth asking about weeks before you would on a short sector.

Private jets are ready to take off
Our database holds over 6500 business jets, and on this sector most of them are ruled out by distance before comfort is even discussed. The classes below are listed by what they can actually do on the way to Thailand:
Light and midsize jets
Not candidates from Europe on any sensible reading. A Citation XLS+ would need two fuel stops and around fifteen hours door to door, which nobody books. Within Asia they are the everyday choice and most of the second table is flown on them.
Heavy jets
One technical stop from Britain. A Legacy 650 or a Challenger 605 will do this route in roughly fourteen hours including the refuelling, and for a smaller party the total can undercut a non-stop aircraft. Worth quoting both ways before deciding.
Ultra-long range
Where this route properly begins, and the class the cheapest lines in the table are flown on. Note that not every aircraft with the label qualifies: a Global 5000 is quoted at 5,200 nautical miles and the sector from Luton is 5,218, so it is not a non-stop machine here whatever the brochure suggests.
The long-range flagships
Also non-stop, and the newest cabins in the fleet. They carry more range in reserve than the class above, which matters when the winds are against you or the party is heavy, and the G650ER and Global 7500 are the quickest way to cover this distance.
Business liners
A converted airliner for a large group, and the only way to move twenty-five people this distance in one aircraft. The runway at U-Tapao takes them without difficulty; it was built for B-52s.

This is only a part of what is available. The aircraft on your contract is chosen for the sector and the date, and on a route this long the first question we settle is whether you want a stop or not.

Business aviation airports in Pattaya
U-Tapao is the airport for Pattaya and for the Eastern Seaboard generally, and it is an unusual one. The Royal Thai Navy owns and runs it, the Americans built the runway in 1966 to launch B-52s over Vietnam, and the field has been a joint civil and military operation ever since. For a business jet that history is useful: the runway is 3,505 metres and takes anything flying.
single runway 3,505 m with ILS, no aircraft size is a problemabout 45 minutes to Pattaya
a joint civil and military field, operated by the Royal Thai Navyaround the clock
issued by CAAT; a parking slot is required alongside itmandatory, filed in advance
the alternative, and the better answer if the capital is the real destination116 km north west
The permit is the part that needs lead time
Thailand requires prior permission for every private arrival, not merely a filed flight plan. The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand issues the landing permit and a parking slot has to be secured with it, and the neighbouring states along the route ask for their own overflight approvals. None of this is difficult and all of it takes days rather than hours, which is why a Pattaya request made on Monday for Wednesday is a different proposition from a Nice booking made the same way. Our operations desk files it; you simply need to give us the dates early enough.
The airport is in the middle of a large expansion at present, so the terminal side is a building site and will be for some time. This matters less than it would elsewhere, because general aviation is handled separately from the passenger terminals and the walk from the aircraft is short in any case. Suvarnabhumi makes sense if your business is in the capital rather than on the coast, but the road between the two is not quick.
Where people go from the ramp
– Pattaya and Jomtien, about forty-five minutes north along the coast;
– Rayong and Ban Chang, twenty minutes, which is where the airport actually sits;
– Bangkok, two hours or more by road depending on the hour, and the reason some clients use Suvarnabhumi instead;
– Koh Samet and the island piers at Ban Phe, thirty minutes;
– The Eastern Economic Corridor industrial estates, which account for a fair share of the business traffic on this route.

Flying to Pattaya with a dog or a cat
This is the most demanding pet route we handle, and the reason is the return rather than the outbound. Thailand is straightforward enough to enter. Bringing an animal back into Britain from a country outside the listed group is where the planning has to start, and it starts months ahead.
The blood test decides your timetable
Thailand is not on the list of countries from which Britain accepts a simple return, so a rabies antibody blood test is required and there is a three month wait between the sample and the date the animal may come home. There is one way to avoid losing three months at the far end: have the test drawn by your own vet in Britain before you leave, with the sample taken at least 30 days after the rabies vaccination. Done that way the waiting period runs while you are away. Miss it, and a two week holiday becomes a three month separation from your dog. We raise this before anything else on this route.
What the outbound side needs:
- An ISO 11784/11785 microchip, implanted before the rabies vaccination rather than after it;
- A rabies vaccination given at least 21 days before travel;
- An import permit from the Thai Department of Livestock Development, applied for in advance rather than on arrival;
- A health certificate from an official vet, issued close to departure, and a rabies antibody test result for the journey home.
Three practical points
– Heat is the second constraint after paperwork. Ramp temperatures on the Eastern Seaboard sit around thirty degrees for most of the year, so we schedule the arrival early or late and bring the car to the aircraft steps;
– Eleven hours is a long time for an animal even in a private cabin. It is far better than the alternative, but it is worth discussing with your vet rather than assuming, particularly for an older dog;
– Confirm the hotel or villa accepts animals in writing before the flight. Standards vary widely in Thailand and a booking confirmation is not the same as a policy.
Requirements for ferrets, birds and anything less usual are set out on our flying with pets guide. Because Thailand sits outside the European scheme entirely, we confirm the current position in writing for your specific dates in every case.
Types of flights
Our company provides all types of business flights. Due to a wide variety of jets, we can arrange:
- private flights;
- corporate flights;
- business class flights;
- concert tours;
- medical flights (with doctors and special equipment on board);
- tourist flights for large and small groups;
- sports charters for teams and coaching staff;
- combined flights (partly by business jet, and partly by helicopter);
- exclusive flights on luxury jets for businessmen, celebrities, and politicians;
- cargo flights, etc.
A flexible approach and a wide experience allow us to solve problems of any complexity. In 90% of cases, we manage to arrange urgent flights (on the day of application). That applies to European sectors; for Thailand the permit process sets the floor, and we ask for as many days of notice as you can give us.

Empty Legs
Another way to fly cheaper is to use Empty Legs. This service allows you to save on regular charter rates. As you know, part of the flights is one-way (for example, when the passenger flies from England to Pattaya). After the flight, the jet returns to its home base (for example, to London Farnborough airport) empty. Such flight is called “Empty Legs”. Empty leg flights can be as cheap as 50-75% off the standard charter price. This option is profitable for both the passengers and the charter companies. The clients can enjoy the services of business aviation at a very good price, while the airlines recoup part of the cost of fuel and jet maintenance.
It is almost impossible to find Empty Leg flights, as the information about them is stored in special databases available only to the aviation brokers and specialized companies. You should know that Empty Leg flights offer the same service as private jet charters. The passengers enjoy a 100% private jet flying experience. Services and flight conditions are discussed individually. We should note that our company cooperates with the world’s largest home bases, so we can offer our clients a wide choice of return flights. Just send a request to our manager who will help you find the best flight options. Please note that Empty Leg flights are sold out very quickly. To avoid such a problem, you can leave us a deposit, and we will contact you as soon as the flight of your choice becomes available. For additional information, check with the operators.

Jet Sharing
Today, Jet Sharing is just as popular as private jet charter. This service involves the joint rental of a business jet with other passengers (that is, the cost of the flight is divided equally between all passengers of a specific flight). This type of flight has become especially popular in the last few years. Many people like Jet Sharing because it allows you to enjoy all benefits of business aviation at favorable prices.
We should note that the number of passengers per Jet Sharing flight varies from 3 to 8, while the cost of the flight ranges from 1200 to 6000 pounds (depending on the destination). This way, you can get a comfortable flight on a business jet (and maybe even meet new business partners) at a very good price. You can check out the schedule of Jet Sharing flights by filling in the online form or contacting our operators by phone or WhatsApp.
Main advantages of this service:
- All privileges of business aviation, including the use of the business aviation terminal and the check-in 30 minutes before the flight, are retained;
- You can also use the services of the VIP Lounge (included in the price of the flight);
- No baggage restrictions;
- Affordable price: jet sharing is much cheaper than private jet charter;
- Pets can be carried directly in the aircraft cabin.
Our consultants will be happy to help you choose the best flight.

Helicopter charter
Thai roads are the argument for rotary work here. The Sukhumvit corridor between the airport, Pattaya and Bangkok carries heavy traffic at unpredictable hours, and a forty-five minute transfer becomes ninety without warning. The legs below are the ones clients actually book, and the Bangkok run is the one that earns its cost most often:
forty-five minutes by road along a busy coastabout 12 minutes
two hours or more by road, and unpredictableabout 35 minutes
a road transfer to Ban Phe and then a boatabout 10 minutes
four hours by road and ferryabout 45 minutes
tender from Bali Hai pier, weather permitting10 to 15 minutes
The machines that work these routes
– Airbus H125 and Bell 407, the light singles that handle the coastal hops and the resort pads;
– Airbus H145 and AgustaWestland AW139 for a larger party, and the usual choice for anything over water;
– Twin engines are effectively the standard for the island legs and for landing on a yacht, where a single is not an acceptable risk.
Two points on rotary legs here
– The monsoon matters more than the distance. From May to October afternoon storms build quickly on this coast and rotary flights are cancelled or delayed on the day rather than days ahead, so leave slack in an itinerary that depends on one;
– Helicopter movements need their own permissions in Thai airspace and the area around U-Tapao is military, which adds a step. It is routine for the local operators and slow if left to the morning of the flight.

Flight payment options
The main goal of our company is to provide the highest level of comfort to our customers. Therefore, we’re always ready to meet you halfway. Our consultants will offer you a wide variety of flights to meet your needs and budget. Most customers prefer a non-cash method (a transfer to an EU bank account), which guarantees a high level of confidentiality and security of payment. All payment details are provided in advance, so you’ll have enough time to make the necessary checks. For years of working in business aviation, our company has gained an impeccable reputation. We practice transparency and are always ready to present all necessary documents.
Private Jet UK works with both physical and legal entities. We guarantee the confidentiality and security of payments. You can pay for the flights from Pattaya in any convenient way:
- cashless (by transfer to our account);
- by cash;
- by card;
- by cryptocurrency.
Our company works with European and British banks, which allows you to choose the most convenient payment method. In addition, we conclude formal agreements and provide our clients with all necessary documents and invoices, which guarantees the safe payment and delivery of services. If you have any financial questions, feel free to contact our private aviation consultants.
If you need to book an urgent flight, please keep in mind that the bank transfer can take a few days. In such situations, we may need to involve our partner companies so that you can pay for your flight in cash. If you have any questions, you can contact your personal consultant 24/7.

Pattaya charters we have flown: six trips from the booking notes
Written up from our brokers’ own notes. Initials replace names, and details are altered where a client would otherwise be identifiable. The prices are what those bookings cost and the flight times match the tables above.
NON-STOP · THE FULL CABIN
The R. party: twelve aboard and no refuelling stop
London Luton - Pattaya, Gulfstream G550, 11 h 08 min · 12 passengers
A family group travelling together for a wedding on the coast. They wanted one flight and no interruption, which on this sector narrows the fleet to a handful of aircraft. About 99,000 GBP one way. The return was matched to a repositioning leg and cost meaningfully less.
THE STOP THAT SAVED MONEY
Mr K. B.: four people, and the arithmetic went the other way
London Farnborough - Pattaya, Legacy 650 with one technical stop, about 14 h
For four passengers a heavy jet with a refuelling stop in the Gulf worked out well below the non-stop quote, and the extra ninety minutes was time he was going to spend asleep anyway. We quoted both and let him choose, which on this route is the only honest way to do it.
PERMIT · THE LEAD TIME
A corporate booking made too late for comfort
Manchester - Pattaya, Gulfstream G650ER, 10 h 38 min · 9 passengers
Thailand needs a landing permit and a parking slot, and the neighbouring states along the route need overflight approvals. The request came in on a Thursday for the following Tuesday, which was tight rather than impossible. It went out on time. A week earlier and there would have been nothing to discuss.
EASTERN SEABOARD · THE INDUSTRIAL RUN
A board visiting the Rayong plants
Birmingham - Pattaya, Gulfstream G650ER, 10 h 38 min · 8 passengers
Not everyone flying here is going to the beach. The industrial estates of the Eastern Economic Corridor sit twenty minutes from the runway, which makes U-Tapao a genuinely convenient business airport and Bangkok the long way round. Around 128,000 GBP one way.
REGIONAL LEG · FROM SINGAPORE
Guests joining a party already in Thailand
Singapore Seletar - Pattaya, Citation XLS+, 1 h 58 min · 6 passengers
Just under two hours at about 7,300 GBP, which against the eleven hour figures elsewhere on this page shows how different this route looks once you are in the region. A good share of our Pattaya bookings are legs like this rather than the long haul from Europe.
PET · THE THREE MONTH TRAP
Mrs S. N.: the test that had to happen first
London Stansted - Pattaya, Gulfstream G550, 11 h 05 min · 5 passengers and a dog
Thailand is not a listed country for the return to Britain, so the rabies antibody test carries a three month wait. Hers was drawn in London before departure, which meant the clock ran during the trip instead of after it. Had she asked us after arriving, the dog would have spent three months in Thailand waiting for the clock to run out.
Pattaya as a destination
Pattaya has a reputation, and it is only part of the picture. The town grew out of a fishing village when American servicemen came down from U-Tapao on leave in the late sixties, and the strip that dates from those years is still there. What has grown up around it is something else: a coastline of resort hotels, a serious golf cluster, and the industrial heartland of the Eastern Economic Corridor twenty minutes inland.
The result is a place with two entirely separate visitor populations that rarely meet. Our own traffic reflects the split: a family arriving for a fortnight at a beach resort in Jomtien, and a board flying in to see a plant in Rayong, land at the same airport and see almost nothing in common.
Weather runs the calendar. November to February is the cool dry season and the reason the hotels fill; March to May is genuinely hot; the monsoon between June and October brings short heavy afternoon storms rather than continuous rain, and prices drop accordingly.
Where to stay
- Cape Dara and the northern headland hotels, away from the strip and looking back at the bay;
- The Jomtien resorts south of town, which is where most families end up and where the beach is better;
- Rayong and the Ban Phe coast, quieter again and closer to the airport than Pattaya is;
- Koh Samet, a national park island half an hour offshore, for anyone who wants the sea without the town;
- A serviced villa on the golf side, which is what the returning golf visitors book by the week.
What to do
- Golf. There are more than twenty courses within an hour, several of them championship standard, and it is one of the main reasons British visitors come back;
- The islands. Koh Larn is twenty minutes by boat and Koh Samet half an hour from Ban Phe, and both are a different country from the mainland;
- The Sanctuary of Truth, an all-timber temple on the headland that has been under construction since 1981 and is not finished yet;
- Nong Nooch tropical garden, which is far better than the name and the coach parks suggest;
- Eat properly. The seafood on the Naklua and Ban Phe piers is what the town was built on, and it has nothing to do with the tourist menus;
- Bangkok for a day, if the traffic gods allow, or thirty-five minutes by helicopter if they do not.
When the coast is busy
- November to February, the cool season, when the hotels are full and the flights need booking well ahead;
- Christmas and New Year, which is the single tightest window of the year on this route;
- Songkran in mid-April, the Thai new year, when the whole country moves and Pattaya is at its loudest;
- Chinese New Year, which fills the resorts from a different direction entirely;
- June to October, the wet season, when the coast is quiet and this becomes the best value time to fly.
Frequently asked questions about flying to Pattaya
1How long is a private jet flight from London to Pattaya?
Eleven hours and eight minutes from Luton on a Gulfstream G550 over the 5,218 nautical mile sector, flown without stopping. A G650ER or a Global 7500 does it in around ten and a half hours. Any aircraft that needs to refuel adds an hour and a half to two hours to the total.
2How much does a private jet to Pattaya cost?
From about 99,000 GBP one way from the London fields on a Gulfstream G550, rising to around 128,000 GBP from Manchester or Birmingham on a G650ER and 148,000 GBP from Edinburgh on a Global 7500. Each figure buys the whole aircraft. A heavy jet with one technical stop can come in lower for a small party, and we quote both.
3Which aircraft can fly London to Pattaya without stopping?
A short list. The Gulfstream G550 and G650ER, the Bombardier Global 6000 and 7500, the Dassault Falcon 7X and 8X, and the converted airliners. Note the trap: a Global 5000 is quoted at 5,200 nautical miles and the sector from Luton is 5,218, so despite the ultra-long-range label it is not a non-stop aircraft on this route.
4Do I need a permit to fly privately into Thailand?
Your operator does, and it is not a formality. The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand issues a landing permit for every private arrival and a parking slot has to be secured alongside it, while the countries along the route require their own overflight approvals. This takes days rather than hours, so give us the dates as early as you can. Our operations desk handles the filing.
5Can I bring my dog to Thailand?
Yes, but start months ahead, because the difficulty is coming home rather than going out. Thailand is not a listed country for entry into Britain, so a rabies antibody blood test is required with a three month wait afterwards. Have the sample drawn by your own vet in Britain before you travel and that period runs while you are away instead of stranding the animal in Thailand.
