Private jet charter in Rzeszow
A jet that leaves a London airfield at seven in the morning lands at Rzeszow a little after half past ten, Polish time, and the day can then go three ways: a round of meetings among the aerospace plants around the city, a weekend among the castles and old towns of the south-east, or a drive into the Bieszczady mountains. Private Jets UK arranges the charter around whichever it is. Our customers have access to 6,500 jets of all types and configurations available for rent. We will help you choose the best option based on your needs and objectives. Our catalog contains the models from the largest manufacturers: Gulfstream, Dassault, Embraer, Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, Learjet, Cessna, Beechcraft, Pilatus, HondaJet, etc. We have established partnerships with the world's largest airlines and VIP terminals, which means we can offer you favourable flight conditions and a high level of service. Our experts will manage the organization of your flight - starting with paperwork, agreements, etc., and ending with a transfer and meeting at the airport. Our company provides a full range of business aviation and concierge services. Rzeszow has one airport, Jasionka, with a 3,200 m runway, airline services and several handling agents, and one feature that a client should hear about before booking: it lies in the south-east of Poland, close to the eastern border, in airspace where military flying takes priority. We therefore check the operating notices for every date and keep Krakow ready as a fallback.

At your request, the aviation consultants of Private Jets UK will help you choose the jet with the suitable technical parameters (production year, flight hours, and home base). The cost of the private jet charter in Rzeszow depends on many factors, such as the model of the business jet, the number of passengers, departure and destination airports, type of flight, duration of parking, additional services, etc. Therefore, we calculate the price of each order individually taking into account your wishes. You can use an online calculator to get an instant charter quote. Please indicate your real contact details to get the final calculation.
You can calculate the cost of your flight in several ways:
- using an online calculator on the website (however, it shows only the approximate price);
- via Messenger (WhatsApp or Telegram);
- by landline or cell phone;
- via e-mail (jets@private-jets.co.uk).
Please note that the above-mentioned price is indicative only. It is calculated on this basis: a departure from London City, a Cessna Citation CJ3+ and two passengers aboard. If you want to get a personal quote, just fill out the online booking form below. Our aviation consultant will make the calculation within 20 minutes, and then contact you to specify the details of the flight.
How long does it take to fly to Rzeszow?
Allow two and a half hours from the London fields in a light jet, and put your watch forward by an hour on arrival: Poland keeps Central European time and changes its clocks on the same weekends as Britain. At 868 to 1,050 nautical miles this is a long sector for a light cabin and an easy one for a midsize jet, which is why the quote for a party of more than four usually starts with the bigger aircraft. The table gives the sector from each British field we use.

Door to door, and the clock on the wall
Leave a London airfield at seven and you are on the ground at Jasionka at about half past ten in the morning, Polish time. The airport is about 8 km north of the Market Square, a suburban train connects the terminal with Rzeszów Główny station in about 18 minutes, and most private clients take a car from the apron, which typically needs 15 to 25 minutes. Add the drive to the British airfield and the short processing at both ends and the journey from central London to the Old Town comes to roughly six hours.
Light jet or midsize: how the quote usually settles
– Up to four people with cabin bags, a light jet does the job and the saving is real. The sector is long for a small cabin, though, and the way home is westbound, usually into a headwind, so we price a midsize jet beside it for anyone who wants room to stand and work;
– Past four people, or with golf clubs, hiking gear, a pushchair or a dog, the midsize jet stops being a luxury. A family bound for the Bieszczady carries a good deal more than a business team of the same size;
– A heavy jet earns its place for a delegation travelling as one party, or for a trip where Rzeszow is only the first stop of several. The runway is 3,200 m long and is described as able to take very large aircraft, so length is never the limit; the practical limits are the operating notices and the handling arrangements, covered further down.

Prices for the private jet flights to Rzeszow
Typical trips from Britain, cheapest first, all of them into Rzeszów-Jasionka. Festival weeks in May and June, the summer weeks in the Bieszczady and the days around Christmas sit above these figures, and the calendar block further down explains when.

Private jet flights from Rzeszow
Rzeszow sits at the south-eastern end of the Polish network, so every onward flight runs west, north or south-west, and the capital, Krakow and the Central European cities are all a short hop in a turboprop. Typical one-way prices:

Poland and its neighbours from the air: when a turboprop beats the road
Warsaw is 135 nautical miles from Rzeszow, Krakow 90, Budapest 202, Vienna 255 and Prague 311, so a Pilatus PC-12 covers Warsaw and Krakow in under an hour, and Budapest, Vienna and Prague in roughly an hour to an hour and a half. Poland, Hungary, Austria and Czechia are all inside the Schengen area, which means no passport control on these hops once you have cleared the border on the first landing. The point of flying is the day it saves: the road from Rzeszow to Krakow is about 170 km and takes two hours or more, and a flight of under an hour changes what can be fitted into a morning. A loop that visits Rzeszow, Krakow and Vienna on one booking costs noticeably less than three separate charters, because the aircraft and crew stay with you.
Before you accept an onward quote
– Check the airport named at the far end. Where a city has a second airfield, Warsaw above all, a quote that names only the city will be revised once the real airport is chosen;
– Check whether the legs are one booking. A few days across Rzeszow, Krakow and Vienna cost less as a single trip, because the aircraft stays with you instead of returning to base between stops.
Prices depending on the type of business jet
We can clearly show the high dependence of the cost of the flight, on the type of aircraft - we have collected approximate data, at the price of 1 flight hour, for various types of business jets:

The cost per hour indicated in the table is preliminary and does not constitute an offer or a commercial offer. Exact prices are available from the managers of the company.
Online Calculator
If you want to make an urgent calculation of the cost of a private plane flight, use our online calculator. Just fill in all the fields of the form with a note that you are interested in a specific model of the aircraft and get the final price. NB! - the figures are sent to you by email or messenger, please carefully fill in the contact details to get the calculation.
All our calculations are as transparent as possible for you. After receiving the request, we will prepare a beautiful offer - where the costs and the final price will be clearly described. The exact price is agreed in advance and is written in the contract, so you can be sure of the final cost.
Private jets are ready to take off
Our database contains over 6,500 business jets (about 3,500 in Europe and 3,000 in the rest of the world) of different configurations and production years. The list of models is constantly updated. Unfortunately, we can't post a full list of available jets on our website due to confidentiality issues. Please contact the managers of the company for more accurate information. We will help you choose a suitable model taking into account your wishes. These are the typical choices for Rzeszow:
Light jets, for a short and light party
The sector is long for a small cabin, so this class suits three or four people with modest luggage. Nothing here lacks the range for Rzeszow, so the money goes on the hours in the air and not on capability you will not use.
Midsize, for the mountain party and the business team
A family with walking boots and bags for a week in the Bieszczady, or a team with laptops and printed folders for two days at a factory, is what pushes a booking past the light-jet limit.
Super-midsize and large
For a delegation travelling as one party, for a team that works in the air, and for trips that run on from Rzeszow to the Gulf or beyond rather than turning round. The long runway suits the heavier types.
Turboprops
The right aircraft for the hops to Warsaw, Krakow, Prague, Vienna and Budapest, where the saving over a jet is large and the extra minutes in the air hardly show.
Helicopters
Not for the flight from Britain but for the last stretch: Lake Solina, a mountain lodge with a meadow instead of a runway, or a loop over the castles. Where a helicopter may land is agreed before the quote.

This is a small part of what is available. Warsaw and Krakow are within an hour of Rzeszow by turboprop, so outside the busiest festival weeks there is often an aircraft already positioned in Poland, and that is frequently where the better price comes from.

Business aviation airports around Rzeszow
One airport does the work for the city. The others deserve a look only when the trip is really to Krakow, Lublin or Silesia, or when the notices for Rzeszow make a fallback sensible. The mountain towns have no airport of their own.
| Airport | What it gives you |
|---|---|
| Rzeszów-Jasionka RZE / EPRZ |
The airport for almost every trip to the region. About 8 km north of the centre, with a single runway, 09/27, of 3,200 by 45 metres, instrument approaches with a Category II ILS listed, customs and immigration on site and fuel including Jet A-1. Handling is listed as mandatory and slots as not required. The airport company acts as a handling agent, and Excel Handling, LS Airport Services and FCG OPS Rzeszow Handling are listed as well. Non-scheduled and general aviation flights are accepted once handling is confirmed |
| Kraków John Paul II, Balice KRK / EPKK |
The natural fallback and the choice for a trip that is really to Krakow. A 2,550 m runway, an airport of entry open round the clock and an airport-run VIP Terminal. By road it is about 170 km from Rzeszow, typically two to two and a half hours by the A4 motorway, so a diversion is a day-changing decision and not a detail |
| Lublin LUZ / EPLB |
A smaller airport about 10 km east of Lublin, with a 2,520 m asphalt runway. From Rzeszow it is about 190 km, typically two to two and a half hours by the S19 expressway. It suits a trip to Lublin or the north-east, and not a Rzeszow booking |
| Katowice Pyrzowice KTW / EPKT |
The Silesian airport, with 3,200 m of runway and a general aviation handling permit held by the airport operator. It lies some 300 to 320 km from Rzeszow, three hours or more by the A4, so it is a destination in its own right and not an alternative |
| Bieszczady, Solina, Sanok, Krosno no jet airport |
None of the mountain and foothill towns is a destination for a jet. The plan is to land at Jasionka and drive, 55 to 65 km to Krosno and about 100 km to Lake Solina, or to fly the last stretch by helicopter to a site agreed in advance |
Four points settle most Rzeszow arrivals:
Choose the handler
Handling at Jasionka is listed as mandatory. The airport company itself acts as a handling agent, with a 24-hour duty number listed, and independent agents including Excel Handling, LS Airport Services and FCG OPS Rzeszow Handling are listed alongside it. We ask the operator which it prefers and confirm the handler in writing before you pay.
Hours, slots and noise
Customs and immigration are listed as available round the clock, and slots as not required. The tower and the handling desk keep set hours with a gap overnight, listed in UTC in the published information, and service outside them typically needs advance notice agreed with the air navigation authority, so we convert the hours to local time for your dates and state the planned arrival and departure times to the handler at the outset. No noise abatement procedures are published for the airfield.
Operating conditions near the border
The airfield lies inside a military-controlled area along the eastern border, and the published notices have limited general flying around it while allowing arrivals and departures at Rzeszow on instrument procedures. Civil flights can also be suspended at short notice so that military aircraft have priority, usually for a matter of hours. We read the notices for your dates, tell you what applies and agree the fallback in advance.
Border and passport
Poland is in Schengen and Britain is not, so you pass passport control and customs on arrival. British passport holders need no visa for up to 90 days in any 180, with a passport under ten years old and valid three months beyond the day you leave. On a first visit the border registers a photograph and fingerprints, which adds time. A British and Polish dual national must enter and leave on the Polish passport.

Border, passport and the way home
Because Poland is inside Schengen, the first landing is where the formalities happen, and a hop on to Krakow or Vienna afterwards is free of border control. Operators from outside the EU typically need a permit from the Polish Civil Aviation Authority for a charter, which we arrange together with the operator. The way home runs the other way: Britain treats the aircraft as arriving from abroad, so a General Aviation Report is filed not earlier than 48 hours and not later than two hours before departure, and passengers pass the border at the British airfield. Visitors who need no visa for Britain still need an Electronic Travel Authorisation unless they are British or Irish citizens. We file the paperwork; you bring passports that are in date. Anyone planning an excursion towards the eastern border should also know that access to the strip along that border is restricted except at the designated crossing points.

From the apron to the Market Square
Rzeszow is a compact city on the Wisłok river, about 198,000 people and the largest in the south-east of Poland, and the airport is close enough to treat the city as a suburb of the runway. The distances that matter run out to the castle, the foothill towns and the mountains.

Five stops worth the drive
Most visitors to Rzeszow are there for business, and the region repays a spare day. The main sights lie within two hours of the apron, and the table above gives the driving times.
The region in five stops
– Rzeszow Old Town. The Town Hall dates from the late sixteenth century and was later remodelled, the Market Square is lined with townhouses and holds a Gothic church, and beneath the square a tourist route of close to 400 metres runs through merchant cellars. The Lubomirski Summer Palace and the castle are in the city as well;
– Łańcut Castle. A residence of the Lubomirski and then the Potocki families, with state rooms such as the Turkish and Chinese apartments, the Mirror Salon and the Ballroom, a park of about 31 hectares and the largest collection of historic carriages in Poland, more than 100 of them;
– Krosno and Sanok. Krosno is the glass town, with an Old Town square of Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque townhouses, the Portius Tower and the Glass Heritage Centre, and Sanok has the open-air Museum of Folk Architecture, with about 200 buildings from the Boyko, Lemko, Dolinian and Pogórzanie regions, and a castle holding the largest collection of work by the painter Zdzisław Beksiński;
– Przemyśl. An Old Town with Renaissance houses, a medieval castle and the ring of an Austro-Hungarian fortress that was once the third largest in Europe, close to the eastern border, so excursions here follow the border-area rules above;
– The Bieszczady. The south-eastern corner of Poland, with Tarnica at 1,346 m as its highest peak, a national park inside the East Carpathian Biosphere Reserve, bison, bears and wolves, the 750 mm gauge Bieszczady Forest Railway out of Majdan near Cisna, and Lake Solina, behind an 81.8 m dam, the largest artificial lake in Poland.
Flying to Rzeszow with a dog or a cat
For a pet the paperwork is the part of a Polish trip that needs planning, and the flight is the easy bit: the animal sits beside you in the cabin, never in a hold, and on a sector of two and a half hours most simply sleep. The date on the health certificate is the detail to get right, since it lasts ten days from the day it is issued.

What Poland, as an EU country, asks for:
- An identification chip fitted before or on the same day as the rabies vaccination. Polish veterinary rules say that the vaccination date cannot be earlier than the identification date;
- A rabies vaccination given when the animal was at least 12 weeks old, with 21 days elapsed after a first vaccination before entry, and boosters kept on schedule;
- No rabies antibody blood test is normally needed when travelling from Britain;
- An Animal Health Certificate from an Official Veterinarian, valid for ten days for entry to the EU and for the return to Britain as stated on the certificate. A British pet passport is not accepted for entry to the EU;
- A written declaration from the owner that the journey is not commercial and that the animal travels within five days of the owner, which on a private flight is simply the same flight;
- No more than five animals per traveller, entering through a travellers' point of entry, which our handler arranges at the terminal;
- For dogs, a tapeworm treatment from a vet between 24 and 120 hours before arrival back in Britain, recorded with product, date and time. Cats are exempt.
What catches owners out on the Rzeszow run
– Poland asks for no tapeworm treatment on the way in, only Britain asks for it on the way home, so it is a vet appointment you book in the south-east of Poland towards the end of the stay. Count back from the departure time, because the window is 24 to 120 hours and a Monday-morning flight needs a visit that falls before the weekend closes the clinics. If the stay is in the Bieszczady, find the vet before you travel up, since the mountain villages are two hours from the city;
– The order of the chip and the vaccine matters. A vaccination that is dated before the chip does not count, and an animal that arrives without a valid certificate can be refused entry or sent back at the owner's expense;
– A week in the mountains with a dog is an ordinary booking, and the Bieszczady are popular with walkers. Settle each hotel and the transfer before the quote, because each one has to accept the animal separately.
Requirements for cats, ferrets, birds and anything less usual are collected on our flying with pets guide. For the flight home, we confirm the entry point and the paperwork for the animal in writing before the flight.
The Rzeszow calendar: festivals, balloons and the mountain seasons
Rzeszow has no single peak season. The region runs a string of festivals from May to September, and the mountains have a summer of their own, with a narrow-gauge railway that runs only for part of the year. Knowing which week you want matters more than choosing an aircraft.
Why a festival week or a mountain weekend costs more
The aircraft are not the scarce item. Rzeszow has a single runway and a modest apron, and the places everybody wants, the castle at festival time, the lodges around Lake Solina in July and August and the few good cars, are limited. Ask for a jet a fortnight before and you will probably get one, flown over from Warsaw, Krakow or Prague and priced to match; ask five or six weeks ahead and the same trip is simpler and cheaper. Away from those dates Rzeszow is an easy city to charter into, often in a day or two, with the one extra step of checking the operating notices for the date.
Ways to bring the Rzeszow price down
- Shift the dates by a few days if the diary allows. A Tuesday arrival in early spring costs less than the Friday of a festival weekend, and September is calmer than July;
- Ask where the aircraft is based. An aircraft that already sits in Warsaw, Krakow or Prague costs less to bring over than one flown out from Britain, and on a sector this long the positioning is a visible slice of the invoice;
- Take the light jet only when the party and the bags are small. Three people with cabin bags save real money in a CJ3+; six people with hiking gear do not, and the quote that looks cheap on paper is often the one that changes.
Types of flights
Rzeszow produces a different mix from the resort and capital-city destinations we cover, because it is at once an industrial city, a heritage region and the gateway to the quieter mountains of the south-east.
- Business travel to the Aviation Valley aerospace cluster, headquartered in Rzeszow, whose members range from engine plants to helicopter makers, with fixed meeting dates, a small team and a wish to be home the same evening;
- Visits to factories, suppliers and universities in Rzeszow and Krosno, often as a delegation of six to ten travelling as one party;
- Mountain weekends in the Bieszczady and on Lake Solina, mostly families and groups of friends, with the jet landing at Jasionka and a car or helicopter doing the rest;
- Heritage and music weekends built around Łańcut, the Old Town and the festival calendar, with a party travelling to a date set by the programme;
- Trips that combine Rzeszow with Krakow or Lublin, often with a turboprop leg added at the end;
- Day trips from London, which at two and a half hours each way are a long day but a workable one.
Rzeszow stretches the day trip to its limit. Wheels up at seven, on the ground at about half past ten local time, and off again at six in the evening gives you about seven and a half hours in the city and puts you back in Britain around half past seven. The crew sits out the meetings at the airport and that waiting time is charged, yet the total is usually below two one-way charters, and we price the route both ways so you can compare.
Empty Legs
Some jets cross Europe with nobody aboard, moving to their next job, and the operator will sell that seat-free leg cheaply rather than fly it for nothing. That is an empty leg. On the Rzeszow route the supply is thin and follows the festival and holiday calendar more than the working week.
Where Rzeszow empty legs come from
– Mountain and festival weekends. Aircraft bring parties to Jasionka on a Friday and leave empty on the Saturday or Sunday, and that leg back towards London, Warsaw or Krakow is the one most often offered;
– Business visits. A delegation flies in on a Tuesday and the aircraft returns empty to a Polish or German base, which produces an outbound leg on the Tuesday or Wednesday;
– Regional rotation. Operators positioning between Warsaw, Krakow, Prague and Budapest put short regional legs on the market, and those short hops can be cheap.
Because the south-eastern corridor is thinner than the busiest London routes, a client who can name a few days rather than one has a far better chance than one who needs a particular evening. What you give up is the usual: the operator owns the date and the hour, and a leg can vanish when the original booking moves. Whatever is free is listed on our empty legs page, and we flag a Rzeszow match the day an operator releases it.

Helicopter charter
In Rzeszow a helicopter is a tool for the edges of a trip and not the middle. The Old Town is small enough to cross by car or on foot, and the place where rotary flight changes the journey is the road into the Bieszczady, where a drive of two hours becomes a short flight.
a transfer to a lodge or a marina with an agreed landing site, against 1.5 to 2 hours by roadtypically 30 to 40 minutes
a transfer towards Cisna or Ustrzyki Górne, against two hours or more by roadtypically 35 to 45 minutes
the Old Town, Łańcut and the Wisłok valley from the airtypically 30 minutes
Before you plan around a helicopter
– Rotary flight is limited by where it may set down. A landing away from an aerodrome needs an agreed site and the landowner's consent, so we check the status of a lodge lawn or a meadow before the quote is written;
– The Bieszczady National Park is a protected area, and protected areas typically restrict low flying and landing, so the landing site is chosen outside the park boundary and the route is agreed in advance;
– Routes near the eastern border fall into the same military-controlled airspace as the airport, so a flight in that direction is cleared with the authorities beforehand and may be refused or rerouted on the day;
– Weather sets the schedule. Snow, low cloud and fog can stop a helicopter on a day when the jet lands without trouble, so a mountain transfer needs a road alternative planned into the same day.
The machines used on this ground are the Airbus H125 for mountain work, the wider H130 for scenic and transfer flights, the H135 and the Bell 429 where a twin is wanted, and the H155 for larger parties. We book them alongside the jet so that both crews work to one timetable.

Rzeszow charters from the booking notes: six typical trips
What the corridor looks like once a quote turns into a flight. Six typical jobs of the kind that come through our booking notes, described in outline, with the particulars changed.
DAY TRIP · OUT AND BACK
A working day in Rzeszow and home for the evening
Biggin Hill - Rzeszow and return, Citation CJ3+, about 2 h 30 min each way · 4 pax
Four people left a London airfield at seven, landed at about half past ten local time and went straight into an afternoon at a supplier on the edge of the city. The aircraft stayed on the ground at Jasionka with its crew, and that wait was a line in the quote, but the total was still lower than two one-way charters. Home by about half past seven. A long day that does the job.
DELEGATION · TWO DAYS
A buying team visiting aerospace suppliers
London Luton - Rzeszow, Citation XLS+, about 2 h 25 min · 8 pax
Eight people, laptops, printed drawings and a request for a car at the aircraft door. The dates were fixed by the factory visits, so the booking went in six weeks ahead, the handler was told the planned arrival and departure times in writing, and the notices were checked a few days before. Nothing needed explaining on the day.
FESTIVAL WEEKEND · ŁAŃCUT
Concerts in the castle and a night in the Old Town
London City - Rzeszow and return, Citation XLS+, about 2 h 20 min each way · 6 pax
Two days built around an evening concert in the Ballroom at Łańcut and a morning in the Rzeszow cellars. One aircraft and one driver for the whole stay, with the flight home timed so that nobody had to rush the last visit. Booked as a single trip, it cost less than two separate one-way charters.
MOUNTAIN WEEK · A DOG ON BOARD
Four adults and a spaniel at Lake Solina
Southampton - Rzeszow, Citation XLS+, about 2 h 30 min · 4 pax + dog
The Animal Health Certificate had to be dated inside ten days of arrival, and the vet appointment for the tapeworm treatment had to fall between 24 and 120 hours before the flight home, in a town two hours from the airport. We booked both with the aircraft, the lodge took the dog, and the whole thing was settled in a single exchange of messages rather than three.
BALLOON FAIR · FOUR DAYS IN MAY
A group of pilots for the aviation fair at Krosno
Farnborough - Rzeszow and return, Phenom 300E, about 2 h 20 min each way · 6 pax
The date was set by the balloon contest in the first days of May. The aircraft landed at Jasionka, a minibus covered the 55 to 65 km to Krosno and the group stayed in the Old Town. The flight home was timed around the weather, and the date was held open at both ends in case the balloons did not fly.
EMPTY LEG · SUNDAY EVENING WEST
A jet already going your way
Rzeszow - London Luton, Phenom 300E empty leg, about 2 h 20 min · 3 pax
The aircraft had brought a party in for the weekend and was going home empty. The client gave us a three-day window instead of a date, which is what makes these work, and paid well below a fresh one-way charter for a Sunday evening departure to the London fields.
Frequently asked questions about flying to Rzeszow
1How long is a private jet flight from London to Rzeszow?
About 2 hours 30 minutes from London City or Biggin Hill in a light jet, and around 2 hours 20 minutes from Luton or Farnborough in a Phenom, covering roughly 868 to 901 nautical miles. From Birmingham or Manchester allow about 2 hours 30 minutes in a midsize cabin, and from Edinburgh or Glasgow around 2 hours 35 minutes to 2 hours 40 minutes. Rzeszow is one hour ahead of Britain, so a seven o'clock departure lands at about half past ten local time.
2How much does a private jet to Rzeszow cost?
From about £11,850 one way on a light jet out of London City or Biggin Hill. A Phenom from Luton or Farnborough runs £12,000 to £12,250, a midsize cabin costs £15,650 from Birmingham and £16,250 from Bristol, and from Scotland allow £20,850 to £21,450. Festival weeks in May and June and the summer weeks in the Bieszczady price above these figures.
3Which airport should a private jet use for Rzeszow, and are there restrictions?
Rzeszów-Jasionka (RZE / EPRZ), about 8 km north of the centre, with a 3,200 m runway, customs on site, handling listed as mandatory and slots listed as not required. The airfield lies in military-controlled airspace near the eastern border. The published notices have limited general flying around it while allowing arrivals and departures on instrument procedures, and civil flights can be suspended for a few hours at short notice. We check the notices for your dates and agree a fallback, usually Krakow (KRK), about 170 km away by road.
4When should I book a private jet to Rzeszow?
Outside the peaks a day or two is usually enough. For the festival weeks in May and June, the summer weeks around Lake Solina and the Bieszczady villages, and any trip with fixed factory dates, allow four to six weeks. Rooms, cars and mountain lodges all get tight in the same weeks, and a late booking tends to pay more for an aircraft positioned from another city.
5Can I fly on from Rzeszow to Łańcut, the Bieszczady or Krakow?
Łańcut Castle is about 15 km from the airport, a drive of roughly 25 minutes. The Bieszczady have no airport, so the plan is to land at Rzeszow and drive about 100 km to Lake Solina, typically 1.5 to 2 hours, or to take a helicopter to an agreed site. Krakow is 90 nautical miles away and Warsaw 135, so a Pilatus PC-12 does either in about an hour or less, with no passport control on arrival since Poland is a single Schengen country. Vienna is 255 nautical miles away and about 1 h 20 min in a turboprop.
6Can I take my dog to Rzeszow on a private jet?
Yes. The dog travels in the cabin with you, and Poland, as an EU country, asks for a chip fitted before or on the day of the rabies vaccination, a vaccination at least 21 days old and an Animal Health Certificate valid for ten days for entry, with the owner's declaration that the journey is not commercial. No rabies blood test is normally needed from Britain. For the return to Britain a dog needs a tapeworm treatment from a vet between 24 and 120 hours before arrival. Cats are exempt from the treatment.
