Embraer private jet charter

Embraer's position in light and midsize jets is unusual because it's backed by numbers that are hard to argue with. The Phenom 300 series has been the top-selling light jet every year for fourteen years running — GAMA confirmed this again in February 2026, covering 2025 data in which 72 were delivered, the highest single-year total the programme has seen. Over 900 are in service across 70 countries, accumulating 2.9 million flight hours. In the midsize segment, the Praetor 500 holds north of 40% of deliveries according to GAMA. NetJets signed for up to 250 of them in 2023; Flexjet followed in February 2025 with a firm order for 182 Embraer aircraft across three models at $7 billion — the largest firm order in Embraer Executive history. Embraer reached an all-time $26.3 billion backlog in Q4 2024. The company has been in aerospace since 1969.

Private Jets UK can arrange Embraer charter from any UK airport. All aircraft operate with a professional crew and are maintained to EASA airworthiness standards. Pricing varies by model, route, date and group size — get a quote via WhatsApp on +44 204 577-31-19 or at [email protected]

Embraer Executive Jets - models available for charter

The current Embraer Executive portfolio covers four active families from entry VLJ to super-midsize, plus the Legacy large-cabin series. The Phenom range uses the Prodigy Touch Flight Deck based on Garmin 3000 avionics; the Praetor series uses Collins Aerospace Pro Line Fusion with full fly-by-wire and Active Turbulence Reduction — both firsts for their respective categories. All models are certified for single-pilot operation. Praetor family deliveries grew 34% year-on-year in 2024, which gives some sense of where the institutional demand is moving.

Entry VLJ - Phenom 100EX - from £1,500/hr

The Phenom 100EX is Embraer's entry-level jet — four seats, Prodigy Touch Flight Deck, pressurised cabin at 4,600 ft at 41,000 ft, single-pilot certified. The 100EX replaced the earlier 100EV with updated avionics and cabin refinements. For two to three passengers on short UK and European hops where keeping the hourly rate as low as possible is the main brief, it covers the ground. Rates from £1,500/hr.

Light Jet - Phenom 300E - from £2,500/hr

GAMA has confirmed the Phenom 300 series as the world's best-selling and most-delivered light jet for fourteen consecutive years, with 72 delivered in 2025 — the highest annual total since the programme launched. Over 900 are operating across 70 countries. It also holds the record as the most delivered twin-engine aircraft for six consecutive years, which is a less-publicised figure but says something about the reliability profile operators are getting. The 300E is the fastest light jet in current production at 464 kt high-speed cruise and Mach 0.80, with a 45,000 ft ceiling, 2,010 nm range and eight passengers maximum. PW535E1 engines at 3,478 lbf each. The Runway Overrun Awareness and Alerting System was the first of its kind certified in business aviation and is standard fit. NetJets has operated 150 Phenom 300 series aircraft and has described it as one of its most requested types. Rates from £2,500/hr.

Midsize - Praetor 500 - from £3,400/hr

The Praetor 500 holds over 40% of midsize jet deliveries according to GAMA — a market share figure that's held up across several years of reporting. At 3,340 nm it covers London to Dubai non-stop, which is the relevant benchmark for this category. Full fly-by-wire with Active Turbulence Reduction is standard — the only midsize jet where that's the case. Collins Pro Line Fusion avionics with HUD and Enhanced Vision System, Ka-band Wi-Fi, flat-floor cabin at 7.31 m x 2.08 m x 1.83 m, nine passengers, all seats converting to flat beds. The Legacy 450-to-Praetor 500 STC upgrade is available for existing operators. NetJets began Praetor 500 deliveries in July 2025 — its first midsize Embraer after over a decade of operating the Phenom 300. Flexjet has had them since 2019 as launch customer. Charter a Praetor 500. Rates from £3,400/hr.

Super-Midsize - Praetor 600 - from £4,200/hr

The Praetor 600 can fly London to New York non-stop at 4,018 nm — something no other super-midsize currently manages, at least not at NBAA IFR reserves. Two belly-mounted auxiliary tanks add 2,928 lb of fuel over the Legacy 500 baseline. Active Turbulence Reduction is standard, as on the 500. All seats convert to fully flat beds; cabin altitude is 5,800 ft; seven windows per side run the length of the 8.38 m flat-floor interior. Flexjet's experience with the 600 in Europe was positive enough that it was added to the North American fleet in 2023. Praetor family deliveries grew 34% year-on-year in 2024. Charter a Praetor 600. Charter rates from £4,200/hr.

Large-Cabin - Legacy 600 and Legacy 650 - from £4,400/hr

The Legacy 600 and 650 seat ten to thirteen passengers in a three-zone cabin with two lavatories — forward and aft — and a 7 m³ baggage hold that's among the largest available at this price point. The 600 covers 3,250 nm; the 650 extends to 3,900 nm with additional fuel and six dedicated sleeping positions in the aft zone. Both share the same 12.93 m x 2.10 m x 1.82 m cabin dimensions. Charter a Legacy 600. Rates from £4,400/hr.

Why Embraer tends to lead light and midsize jet charter

  • The Phenom 300 delivery record is fourteen years and counting. GAMA confirmed the 300 series as the world's best-selling and most-delivered light jet for the fourteenth consecutive year in February 2026. Seventy-two delivered in 2025; 900-plus in service across 70 countries; 2.9 million fleet hours. It's also the most delivered twin-engine aircraft for six years running. That volume of operational data — across a wide range of operators, climates and utilisation rates — is something newer or lower-volume types simply haven't had time to accumulate. Highest residual value in the light jet category, according to Embraer;
  • NetJets and Flexjet both chose the Praetor 500, which is worth noting. GAMA puts the Praetor 500 at over 40% of midsize deliveries. In 2023 NetJets signed for up to 250 at over $5 billion — its first midsize Embraer after a decade of Phenom 300 operation, with first deliveries arriving July 2025. In February 2025 Flexjet placed a firm order for 182 aircraft across three Embraer models at $7 billion. That's $12 billion from the two largest fractional operators in the world, both arriving at the same conclusion independently. Whether that counts as validation depends on how much weight you put on operator preference over specification comparisons, but it's a harder thing to dismiss than a brochure claim;
  • Active Turbulence Reduction on the Praetor 500 and 600. Embraer's fly-by-wire system on both Praetors includes ATR: the flight control computers detect turbulence and apply corrective surface movements before passengers feel the disturbance. No other midsize or super-midsize offers this as standard. On Alpine, Gulf and transatlantic sectors where convective weather is routine, the difference is reportedly measurable in practice, though individual experience will vary depending on conditions and aircraft loading;
  • The Praetor 600 flies London to New York non-stop; competing super-midsizers don't. The Challenger 3500, Gulfstream G280 and Citation Longitude all need a fuel stop on the transatlantic crossing. The Praetor 600 doesn't, at 4,018 nm, because of the two belly-mounted auxiliary tanks. Flat-bed seat conversion throughout, 5,800 ft cabin altitude and seven windows per side make the sector more comfortable than the numbers alone suggest. Whether the non-stop capability is the right brief depends entirely on the route;
  • The order book is large. Embraer confirmed a $26.3 billion backlog record in Q4 2024. The Flexjet and NetJets commitments together account for $12 billion of that across three models. For charter clients, the practical effect is parts availability, crew density and aircraft availability at the fleet level — manufacturers with deep committed order books tend to keep the support infrastructure running at the scale that keeps aircraft out of AOG situations.

Embraer Executive history

Embraer was founded in 1969 in São José dos Campos, Brazil, as a state enterprise — privatised in 1994. The first Embraer business product was the EMB-121 Xingu turboprop, which entered service in 1981. The modern Executive Jets division launched in 2001 with the Legacy 600, derived from the ERJ-135 regional airliner — an unusual starting point for a business jet line, but one that gave it an unusually large cabin for its price class. The Phenom 100 and Phenom 300 entered service in 2008 and 2009; the 300 took the best-selling light jet title in its first year and has held it since. Fly-by-wire arrived with the Legacy 450 and Legacy 500 in 2015 and 2016. The Praetor 500 and 600 — upgrades of those Legacy platforms — entered service in 2020. Embraer delivered 130 executive aircraft in 2024 and 131 in 2025; the $26.3 billion backlog recorded in Q4 2024 was an all-time record for the company.

Frequently asked questions - Embraer charter UK

Which Embraer jet should I charter?
It depends on group size and how far you're going. For two to three on short UK hops, the Phenom 100EX from £1,500/hr keeps costs as low as any jet will. For six to eight on European sectors, the Phenom 300E from £2,500/hr — the most widely operated light jet in the market. For eight to nine on missions including London to Dubai non-stop, the Praetor 500 from £3,400/hr. For London to New York non-stop at super-midsize rates, the Praetor 600 from £4,200/hr is currently the only type that covers the sector without stopping. For ten to thirteen with large baggage and two lavatories, the Legacy 600 or 650 from £4,400/hr.

Why has the Phenom 300 been the best-selling light jet for 14 years?
GAMA has confirmed fourteen consecutive years as the world's best-selling and most-delivered light jet — the 2025 data released in February 2026 extended the streak. Three things likely explain most of it: 464 kt cruise (the fastest light jet in production), 2,010 nm range covering most European sectors non-stop, and the Prodigy Touch Flight Deck on Garmin 3000, single-pilot certified. The Runway Overrun Awareness and Alerting System was the first of its kind certified in business aviation. Embraer puts residual value in the light jet category highest for the 300E. NetJets has operated 150 units and calls it one of its most requested aircraft — which, at 150 examples from a single operator, is a meaningful data point.

Can the Praetor 600 really fly London to New York non-stop?
Yes, at 4,018 nm with NBAA IFR reserves. Two belly-mounted auxiliary tanks add 2,928 lb of fuel over the Legacy 500 baseline to make it work. The Challenger 3500, G280, Citation Longitude and Cessna Latitude all require a fuel stop on this sector. Whether the non-stop capability matters to a given client depends on the schedule — the fuel stop adds roughly 45 to 60 minutes on top of the flying time — but for clients where that time difference changes the economics of the trip, it's the deciding factor.

What are the Flexjet and NetJets deals for Embraer?
In 2023 NetJets signed for up to 250 Praetor 500 jets at over $5 billion — its first Embraer midsize order after a decade of Phenom 300 operation. First deliveries arrived July 2025. In February 2025 Flexjet placed a firm order for 182 Embraer aircraft (Phenom 300E, Praetor 500, Praetor 600) at $7 billion — the largest firm order in Embraer Executive history. Together those two commitments represent $12 billion from the world's two largest fractional operators.

What is the difference between the Legacy 600 and Legacy 650?
The Legacy 650 adds 650 nm range over the 600 — 3,900 nm versus 3,250 nm — through increased fuel capacity, and adds six dedicated sleeping positions in the aft zone. Both share the same 12.93 m x 2.10 m x 1.82 m three-zone cabin with two lavatories. Charter rates run roughly 5 to 10% higher for the 650 to reflect the longer range. For missions within 3,250 nm the 600 gives you the same cabin at lower cost.
