Private jet charter in Zurich
Under two hours separate the London fields from Zurich, and the part of the trip that needs planning is not the flying but the airport's own timetable: it is slot-coordinated, it shuts to ordinary traffic at half past eleven at night, and the Graubünden mountains begin an hour or two beyond the runway. Private Jets UK builds the charter around that clock. Our customers have access to 6,500 jets of all types and configurations available for rent. We will help you choose the best option based on your needs and objectives. Our catalog contains the models from the largest manufacturers: Gulfstream, Dassault, Embraer, Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, Learjet, Cessna, Beechcraft, Pilatus, HondaJet, etc. We have established partnerships with the world's largest airlines and VIP terminals, which means we can offer you favourable flight conditions and a high level of service. Our experts will manage the organization of your flight - starting with paperwork, agreements, etc., and ending with a transfer and meeting at the airport. Our company provides a full range of business aviation and concierge services. Kloten is a very good airport and a strict one, so the real decisions here are the slot, the handler, and whether the programme ends in the bank district, on the lake or in the Alps.

At your request, the aviation consultants of Private Jets UK will help you choose the jet with the suitable technical parameters (production year, flight hours, and home base). The cost of the private jet charter in Zurich depends on many factors, such as the model of the business jet, the number of passengers, departure and destination airports, type of flight, duration of parking, additional services, etc. Therefore, we calculate the price of each order individually taking into account your wishes. You can use an online calculator to get an instant charter quote. Please indicate your real contact details to get the final calculation.
You can calculate the cost of your flight in several ways:
- using an online calculator on the website (however, it shows only the approximate price);
- via Messenger (WhatsApp or Telegram);
- by landline or cell phone;
- via e-mail (jets@private-jets.co.uk).
Please note that the above-mentioned price is indicative only. It is calculated on this basis: a departure from Biggin Hill, a Cessna Citation CJ3+ and two passengers aboard. If you want to get a personal quote, just fill out the online booking form below. Our aviation consultant will make the calculation within 20 minutes, and then contact you to specify the details of the flight.
How long does it take to fly to Zurich?
About an hour and twenty-five minutes from Biggin Hill or London City in a light jet, close to two hours from Glasgow, and one hour of clock difference to add on arrival, because Switzerland keeps Central European time. At 422 to 725 nautical miles from the British fields we use, Zurich is a short sector: a light-jet trip from the south of England, a midsize one from the north. The table gives the sector from each British field we use.

Door to door, and the clock on the wall
Leave Biggin Hill at seven in the morning, British time, and you touch down at Zurich a little before half past nine local time. The airport lies about 9 km north of the city centre and Jet Aviation puts its terminal at roughly fifteen minutes from central Zurich, so a client who left a London office after breakfast can be at a lunch table on the Limmat before noon. Count the drive to the British airfield and the short formalities at both ends and central London to central Zurich comes to about three and a half hours. The other end of the day is less forgiving: the airport stops accepting ordinary traffic at 23:30 local time, which is 22:30 in Britain, and a departure after the desk closes at 22:00 has to be arranged with the handler in advance.
Light jet or midsize: how the choice usually goes on this route
– For up to four people with normal luggage a light jet is the answer. Ninety minutes in a CJ3+ or a Phenom is no hardship, and what you save against a midsize cabin covers the car and the hotel;
– Past four, or with ski bags for the Engadine, a week of formal clothes or a rack of presentation kit, we quote a midsize alongside so that you see both figures. On Swiss trips the hold fills before the seats do;
– Runway length is never the question here, because the longest runway at Zurich is 3,700 m. A large cabin is a matter of party size and of what comes after Zurich, and Zurich is the Swiss airport where aircraft performance is the least of the questions.

Onward from Zurich: when the aircraft wins and when the road does
Davos has no airport of its own. It is 148 km from Zurich by road, between 1 h 45 min and just under two hours depending on traffic, which is a perfectly reasonable drive for a party of four and a poor one for a delegation on a timetable. Samedan, the airport for St Moritz and the Engadine, is 81 nautical miles from Zurich on the chart and about 40 minutes in a Pilatus PC-12; the road to St Moritz is 202 km and two and a half to three hours. Samedan sits at 1,707 m above sea level, has no night operation, and requires crews to pass an airport briefing and test before they land, so it goes to an operator who has done it before. The practical plan for most guests is the jet to Zurich, then a turboprop to Samedan or a helicopter to the valley, with the road kept as the fall-back for a day of low cloud.
Before you accept a Swiss onward quote
– Which airport, and which rule applies there. Zurich needs a slot for every flight and closes at 23:30; Samedan needs a pilot briefing and test before every landing, with prior permission in Forum week, and has no night operation; Altenrhein has a lunch break and shorter weekend hours. A quote that ignores the rule of the airport it names is a quote that will change;
– Whether the legs are one booking. Zurich to Samedan, then Lucerne and home over four days costs noticeably less arranged as one trip, because the aircraft and crew stay with you instead of returning to base between stops.
Prices depending on the type of business jet
We can clearly show the high dependence of the cost of the flight, on the type of aircraft - we have collected approximate data, at the price of 1 flight hour, for various types of business jets:

The cost per hour indicated in the table is preliminary and does not constitute an offer or a commercial offer. Exact prices are available from the managers of the company.
Online Calculator
If you want to make an urgent calculation of the cost of a private plane flight, use our online calculator. Just fill in all the fields of the form with a note that you are interested in a specific model of the aircraft and get the final price. NB! - the figures are sent to you by email or messenger, please carefully fill in the contact details to get the calculation.
All our calculations are as transparent as possible for you. After receiving the request, we will prepare a beautiful offer - where the costs and the final price will be clearly described. The exact price is agreed in advance and is written in the contract, so you can be sure of the final cost.
Private jets are ready to take off
Our database contains over 6,500 business jets (about 3,500 in Europe and 3,000 in the rest of the world) of different configurations and production years. The list of models is constantly updated. Unfortunately, we can't post a full list of available jets on our website due to confidentiality issues. Please contact the managers of the company for more accurate information. We will help you choose a suitable model taking into account your wishes. These are the typical choices for Zurich:
Light jets, the usual choice for four or five people
At an hour and a half this is a short sector for a small party with ordinary luggage. Nothing here lacks the range, and Zurich has runway to spare, so the money is better spent on the car and the hotel than on a cabin you will not fill.
Midsize, for ski bags and a long weekend
The hold fills faster than the seats on a trip that ends in the mountains: skis in winter, hiking kit and suit carriers in summer, and the shopping from Bahnhofstrasse on the way home.
Super-midsize and large
For a team that wants to work in the air, a group travelling as one party, or a trip that carries on to the Gulf. Zurich is the Swiss airport where the biggest cabins are routine, and the General Aviation Centre can take them.
Turboprops
The right aircraft for the Swiss hops: Samedan, Bern, Basel and Altenrhein are about forty minutes or less in the air, and the saving over a jet on those distances is large.
Helicopters
Not for the flight from Britain but for the last stretch: the valley to Davos, a lakeside house or a chalet lawn. Where a helicopter may land is agreed before the quote, and near Zurich Airport itself the airport sets its own rules for rotary traffic.

This is a small part of what is available. Zurich sits in the middle of the Swiss and southern German fleet, and Geneva, Basel, Milan and Munich are each within an hour of the airport in a light jet, so outside the Davos weeks in January an aircraft is usually close at hand. That is often where the better price comes from.

Business aviation airports in Zurich
One airport carries almost every Zurich trip, and six more matter when the slot is out of reach, the meeting is in the mountains or the World Economic Forum in Davos fills the main apron. Which one is right depends on where the meeting is and what time it ends.
| Airport | What it gives you |
|---|---|
| Zurich Airport, Kloten ZRH / LSZH |
The answer for almost every trip. About 9 km north of the city centre at 432 m above sea level, with three runways of 2,500 m, 3,300 m and 3,700 m, so no aircraft type is a problem. Business aviation works from the General Aviation Centre on the eastern side, where Jet Aviation and Cat Air Service handle private flights and Jet Aviation also keeps two large hangars from its purchase of the former ExecuJet FBO. Customs and immigration are on the premises. The airport is slot-coordinated and the ordinary operating window is 06:00 to 23:30 local time |
| Dübendorf Air Base LSMD |
A military field east of Zurich, about 10 km from Zurich Airport on the chart, with an asphalt runway of 2,355 m. Civil use is limited. Operators report that during the Davos Forum it takes business jets whose passengers are going to the Forum, by prior permission and without a slot, with customs in the military terminal. Outside those days it is not an option to count on |
| Bern-Belp BRN / LSZB |
The capital's airport, about 100 km south-west of Zurich Airport on the chart, with a paved runway of 1,730 m and no slot requirement. Business and general aviation hours are listed as 08:00 to 19:00 local time, so a meeting in Bern has to be planned to finish by late afternoon. Customs are available on site |
| Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg BSL / LFSB |
The EuroAirport stands on French soil, 3.5 km from Basel, with a Swiss sector in the terminal where Swiss customs and police rules apply and a north-south runway of 3,900 m. Roughly 80 km from Zurich on the chart. The sensible choice when the meeting is in Basel and not in Zurich, and a fall-back for a large cabin when Zurich is full |
| St. Gallen-Altenrhein ACH / LSZR |
On Lake Constance, about an hour from Zurich by road, with a runway of 1,455 m by 30 m and a CAT I instrument approach on runway 10. A private terminal, crew lounge, hangar and customs and immigration are offered. Published hours are Monday to Friday 06:30 to 21:00 with a break from 12:00 to 13:30, with shorter hours at the weekend. The runway suits light and midsize jets, and larger cabins are checked with the operator. A quiet choice when the Forum crowds the main airports |
| Friedrichshafen FDH / EDNY |
A German airport on the northern shore of Lake Constance, 3 km from the town and about 80 km from Zurich Airport on the chart, with a 2,356 m runway. Several handlers work there. It is a useful alternative in the Davos week, but a German arrival means a road border into Switzerland, which is a customs border because Switzerland is outside the EU |
| Samedan SMV / LSZS |
The airport for St Moritz and the Engadine at 1,707 m above sea level. Not an alternative to Zurich but where many winter trips end. Daylight operation only, with a pilot briefing and test before the flight and prior permission in Forum week |
Four points settle most Zurich arrivals:
Choose the handler
Zurich's General Aviation Centre has two business aviation handlers on one site. Jet Aviation runs the executive terminal with a lounge, conference rooms, crew rooms, de-icing and its own Jet A-1 and Avgas fuelling, and its published desk hours are 06:00 to 22:00. Cat Air Service is the second business handler, on the eastern side between the cargo area and the town of Kloten. Handling is compulsory, so we name the handler in the quote.
Hours, slots and noise
Zurich is slot-coordinated: every arrival and departure needs an airport slot, and for an instrument flight it comes through your dispatcher or the handler. The ordinary operating window is 06:00 to 23:30, with the last half hour set aside for catching up on delays. Outside it, every aircraft needs a special exemption. Ask for a slot a week ahead in busy periods, and earlier for the Forum.
Border and passport
Switzerland is in Schengen and Britain is not, so you clear the border on arrival, and Switzerland is outside the EU, so its customs rules are its own. British passport holders need no visa for up to 90 days in any 180, with a passport issued less than ten years ago and valid for three months beyond departure. A first-time visitor may be asked for a photograph and fingerprints, which is free.
Car and late nights
Give us the handler and the hotel as well as the flight, because a driver told only the airport can wait at the wrong door. For a dinner that might run late, put the extended desk and the crew into the quote from the start: departures after 22:00 need the handler to stay, and nothing leaves between 23:30 and 06:00 without an exemption.

Permits, border and Swiss customs
A private flight and a charter are treated differently. Operators report that a private flight does not need a landing permit for Switzerland, while a charter on an aircraft registered outside the EU does. For individual charter flights the Federal Office of Civil Aviation allows up to three flights in three months on one permit, applied for at least 72 hours before the first flight, and a chain of four or more flights needs an operating permit applied for at least 30 days ahead. The published rules are written for non-EU and non-EFTA operators and do not single out British ones, so we check the aircraft paperwork with the operator and the Swiss authority before we confirm. For passengers the border is the Schengen one: Britain is outside the area and Switzerland is inside it. The border officers may ask for proof of accommodation, travel insurance, an onward ticket and enough funds for the stay, and goods that are prohibited, taxed or dutiable must be declared. For the flight back, the General Aviation Report for Britain is filed not earlier than 48 hours and not later than 2 hours before departure, and most visitors who are not British or Irish citizens need an electronic travel authorisation for the UK.

From the apron to the lake
Zurich is compact. The old town, the banks and the quays of the Limmat lie within a few minutes of one another, and the lake opens at the southern end. The distances that matter are the ones that run outward from the airport, to Zug, to Lucerne and, further, to Davos and the Engadine. The Street Parade fills the lake shore in August, and the New Year fireworks go up over the lake basin, which is why hotels on the water fill first.
Jet Aviation quotes the executive terminal at roughly fifteen minutes from the centre; the airport lies 9 km north of itabout 15 minutes

Flying to Zurich with a dog or a cat
Switzerland is not in the EU, and the Swiss pet rules are not the EU rules, which is what catches owners who assume they are the same. The flight is the easy part: the animal sits beside you in the cabin and never in a hold, and on a sector of ninety minutes most simply sleep. The paperwork is where a trip is won or lost.

What Switzerland asks for when a pet arrives from Britain:
- An ISO microchip, fitted before the rabies vaccination. Whatever the date of the vaccine, a chip that comes second does not count;
- A valid rabies vaccination: the first dose can be given from 12 weeks of age and becomes valid 21 days later;
- If the animal already meets the Swiss requirements, a valid Swiss or EU pet passport is enough. Otherwise Switzerland wants an official veterinary certificate issued by the authority in the country of departure, and we confirm in writing which document it will accept for a British animal;
- The animal is presented at the red customs exit on arrival. Zurich is one of the three airports, with Basel and Geneva, through which an accompanied animal may enter;
- Dogs with docked ears or tails may not be imported;
- For the return, a dog needs a tapeworm treatment from a vet between 24 and 120 hours before landing in Britain, recorded with product, date and time. Cats are exempt. A pet travel document and a declaration go with the animal.
What catches owners out on the Zurich run
– The order of the chip and the vaccine. A vaccination given before the microchip does not count, and an animal that arrives without the right papers can be refused, so we read the documents line by line before the flight is confirmed;
– The tapeworm window. The treatment is given by a vet between 24 and 120 hours before the flight home, so the vet appointment in Zurich is booked for the second half of the stay. A flight that moves by a day can move the window out of reach;
– The expectation that Zurich is automatic. It is on the Swiss list of entry airports, which is why we keep a pet trip on Zurich and not on Altenrhein or Dübendorf. For any other airport we confirm the entry point first, in writing.
Requirements for cats, ferrets, birds and anything less usual are collected on our flying with pets guide. We confirm the entry point and the paperwork for the animal in writing before the flight, and a quarantine of up to four months awaits an animal that arrives in Britain without meeting the rules.
The Zurich calendar: a Forum, a parade and a film festival
Zurich keeps a calmer rhythm than a resort and a sharper one than most business cities. January belongs to Davos, spring to the guilds and the marathon, summer to the lake and the parade, and the autumn to cinema and art. Knowing which week you want matters more than choosing an aircraft.
Why a Forum week costs more
The aircraft are not the scarce item; slots, apron space and cars are, and they run short in the same days. Operators report that Zurich does not allow a private jet to stay on the apron longer than two hours without prior permission in the Forum days, that it is not available as an alternate, and that Dübendorf takes only passengers heading for the Forum. Ordering a fortnight ahead is still possible, at a higher price and perhaps with an aircraft flown in from Geneva or Munich. Five or six weeks ahead is simpler and cheaper. Outside January a Zurich charter is normally arranged within a day or two.
Ways to bring the Zurich price down
- Shift the dates by a few days if the diary allows. The week after the Forum and the gap between the film festival and the October art fair are quieter than the peaks;
- Find out where the aircraft sleeps. One already based in Zurich, Geneva or Munich needs little positioning, while one coming from Britain adds a leg, and on a sector this short that leg is a large share of the bill;
- Check whether another airport works as well. On the same light jet from Biggin Hill, the sector to Basel is priced about £450 lower than the one to Zurich, to Geneva about £200 lower and to Altenrhein about £400 higher. Each has its own conditions, so let the location of the meeting decide.
Types of flights
Two things shape the traffic: Zurich is a banking and fund-management centre, and it is also the main gate to the Swiss Alps. The same aircraft can serve a boardroom on Monday and a ski chalet on Friday.
- Banking and fund meetings, where the diary fixes the dates, the party is small and the aim is to be home the same evening;
- The Davos Forum in January, flown to Zurich or Samedan, with a helicopter or a long drive for the last stretch;
- Winter stays in St Moritz and the Engadine, with ski bags and a lot of luggage, usually finishing with a turboprop or a helicopter;
- Business in Zug and Lucerne, both within an hour of the airport by road, which makes Zurich the practical airport for them;
- Lake and city weekends: Street Parade, the film festival, the Christmas markets and the guild festival in spring;
- Longer European loops that start in Zurich and carry on to Milan, Munich, Nice or Paris.
Zurich works well for the same-day return. Land a little before half past nine local time, finish by early evening and be home with an hour or two to spare before the airport stops taking ordinary traffic at 23:30 local time, which is 22:30 in Britain. The aircraft and crew wait on the ground, and that waiting is billed, yet the total stays below two separate one-way charters. Both versions go into the quote.
Empty Legs
An empty leg is a repositioning flight with nobody aboard, offered at a fraction of the usual price. At Zurich they follow the pattern of the Swiss calendar, and it helps to know what produces them.
Where Zurich empty legs come from
– The Forum and its aftermath. Delegations arrive on charters from across Europe, and aircraft that leave empty a day or two later put outbound legs on the market in the days after;
– Winter in the Alps. Parties arrive on the Friday and the aircraft goes home empty, or positions on to Samedan, Geneva or Bern for the next group, and those short legs can be cheap;
– The big weekends. Street Parade and the film festival bring aircraft in on the Friday and send them home on the Sunday, and the Sunday evening leg is the one most often offered.
Anyone who can offer a window of a few days has a much better chance of a match than someone who needs one particular evening. The price of that flexibility is plain: the operator decides the date and the hour, and a leg disappears if the booking that created it moves. Whatever is free is listed on our empty legs page, and we flag a Zurich match the day an operator releases it.

Helicopter charter
A helicopter in Zurich earns its place on the outer stretches of a trip rather than in town. The city is small enough to cross by car or by tram, and the places where rotary flight changes the journey are the lake shore, the Alpine valleys and the long run to Davos and the Engadine. Near the airport the helicopter is subject to rules of its own, because Zurich Airport is slot-coordinated for rotary traffic too.
a slot must be booked in advance, and none can be given for helicopters between 12:45 and 14:15 local timeslot required
148 km and 1 h 45 min or more by road; the time in the air is agreed with the operatoragreed with the operator
202 km by road against about 40 minutes for a PC-12 to Samedan, with a helicopter for the last milesby jet and helicopter
41 km and 67 km by road, both under an hour; a helicopter earns its place only when the roads are fullroad is usually enough
Before you plan around a helicopter
– A helicopter cannot land wherever it likes. A landing away from an aerodrome needs an agreed site and the landowner's consent, so we check the status of a lakeside lawn or a mountain pad before the quote is written, not after it;
– Weather sets the schedule. Cloud in the valleys can stop a helicopter on a day when the jet lands without trouble, so a mountain transfer needs a road alternative planned into the same day;
– Mind the airport slot. Rotary flights from Zurich Airport itself need a slot that the airport will not give in the early afternoon window.
For the mountains the usual choice is the Airbus H125, the wider H130 suits a lakeside or chalet transfer, the H135 and the Bell 429 are the twins, and the H155 carries a larger party. The helicopter is booked with the jet so that the two crews work from one timetable.

Zurich charters from the booking notes: six typical trips
What the corridor looks like once a quote turns into a flight. Six typical jobs of the kind that come through our booking notes, described in outline, with the particulars changed.
DAY TRIP · OUT AND BACK
A morning meeting in Zurich and home for dinner
Biggin Hill - Zurich and return, Citation CJ3+, about 1 h 25 min each way · 4 pax
Wheels up at seven, on the ground a little before half past nine local time, in the meeting by eleven and back at Biggin Hill in the evening. The aircraft and crew waited at the General Aviation Centre rather than going home, which is a real line in the quote and still comes in below two separate one-way charters. The departure was planned for early evening, well inside the 23:30 limit.
THE FORUM · DAVOS IN JANUARY
A delegation for the Davos week
London Luton - Zurich, Citation XLS+, about 1 h 25 min · 8 pax
The dates were set by the Forum and not by the client. Eight people, laptops, document cases and a request for a car at the aircraft door. The airport slot was requested well ahead, the handler arranged parking within the two-hour limit, the aircraft went to a quieter airfield for the days in between, and the road to Davos was timed in advance.
ST MORITZ · A WINTER WEEKEND
Six guests, ski luggage and a turboprop
Farnborough - Zurich, Phenom 300E, about 1 h 20 min · 6 pax
They had assumed one aircraft would take them straight to the village. We quoted the jet to Zurich, a PC-12 to Samedan for the Engadine, and kept the road as the fall-back for a day of low cloud. The Samedan airport test is the reason we chose an operator who had flown there before.
ZUG AND LUCERNE · A LATE DINNER
A team of five, two meetings and a deadline
London City - Zurich, Citation CJ3+, about 1 h 25 min · 5 pax
The first meeting was in Zug and the second in Lucerne, with dinner in between. The airport closes to ordinary traffic at 23:30, so the departure was fixed for 22:30 and the handler agreed to keep the desk open past its published 22:00. Everyone was back in London before eleven at night, British time.
A WEEKEND BY THE LAKE · A DOG ON BOARD
Four adults and a labrador for the film festival
Southampton - Zurich, Citation XLS+, about 1 h 25 min · 4 pax + dog
The entry airport for the dog was settled in writing before the aircraft was booked, and the vet appointment in Zurich for the tapeworm treatment was set between 24 and 120 hours before the flight home. The hotel took the dog, and the whole thing was settled in a single exchange of messages rather than three.
EMPTY LEG · SUNDAY EVENING WEST
A jet already going your way
Zurich - London Luton, Phenom 300E empty leg, about 1 h 20 min · 3 pax
The aircraft had brought a party in for the weekend and was going home empty. The client gave us a three-day window instead of a date, which is what makes these work, and paid well below a fresh one-way charter for a Sunday evening departure to the London fields.
Frequently asked questions about flying to Zurich
1How long is a private jet flight from London to Zurich?
About 1 hour 25 minutes from London City or Biggin Hill in a light jet, and around 1 hour 20 minutes from Luton or Farnborough in a Phenom, covering roughly 422 to 453 nautical miles. From Birmingham, Manchester or Bristol allow about 1 hour 35 to 40 minutes, and from Edinburgh or Glasgow around 1 hour 55 minutes to 2 hours. Switzerland is one hour ahead of Britain, so a seven o'clock departure lands a little before half past nine local time.
2How much does a private jet to Zurich cost?
From about £6,600 one way on a light jet out of Biggin Hill, and £6,700 from London City. Luton and Farnborough in a Phenom run £7,000 to £7,050, a midsize cabin costs £8,800 to £9,650 from the south and Midlands, and from Scotland allow £15,250 to £15,700. The Davos weeks in January and the busiest city weekends can price above these figures.
3Which airport should a private jet use for Zurich?
Zurich Airport (ZRH / LSZH) for almost every trip. It lies about 9 km north of the centre, has runways up to 3,700 m, customs and immigration at the General Aviation Centre and two business handlers, Jet Aviation and Cat Air Service. Alternatives are Basel for Basel, Bern for the capital before 19:00, and St. Gallen-Altenrhein or Friedrichshafen on Lake Constance. Dübendorf is a military field that takes business jets only for the Davos Forum.
4Can I land in Zurich late at night?
Not as a matter of course. Zurich Airport operates from 06:00 to 23:30 local time, which is 05:00 to 22:30 in Britain, with the last half hour reserved for catching up on delays, and any arrival or departure outside that window needs a special exemption. Every flight also needs an airport slot. The Jet Aviation desk publishes hours of 06:00 to 22:00, so a late departure is agreed with the handler in advance.
5How do I get from Zurich to Davos or St Moritz?
Davos has no airport, and by road it is 148 km, about 1 hour 45 minutes to just under two hours. St Moritz is 202 km and two and a half to three hours by road. The quicker route is a turboprop to Samedan, about 40 minutes in a PC-12, or a helicopter for the valley, with the road kept as a fall-back. For the Davos Forum in January, slots and parking are tight and we book early.
6Can I take my dog to Zurich on a private jet?
Yes. The dog travels in the cabin with you, and Switzerland asks for a microchip fitted before the rabies vaccination, a valid vaccination whose first dose was given at 12 weeks or older, and an official veterinary certificate from Britain unless the animal holds an EU or Swiss pet passport. The dog is presented at the red customs exit, and Zurich is one of the airports where an accompanied animal may enter. For the return a dog needs a tapeworm treatment from a vet between 24 and 120 hours before landing in Britain. Cats are exempt.
