Private jet charter to Belgium
Private Jets UK flies clients from Britain into Belgium on the shortest international sectors we operate anywhere: the crossing to Ostend is shorter than a good many of our domestic British sectors, and the aircraft is level for barely twenty minutes of it. Our customers have access to 6500 jets of all types and configurations available for rent. We will help you choose the best option based on your needs and objectives. Our catalog contains the models from the largest manufacturers: Gulfstream, Dassault, Embraer, Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, Learjet, Cessna, Beechcraft, Pilatus, HondaJet, etc. For 15 years of successful work, we have established partnerships with the world’s largest airlines and VIP terminals, which means we can offer you the most favorable flight conditions and a high level of service. Our experts will manage the organization of your flight - starting with paperwork, agreements, etc., and ending with a transfer and meeting at the airport. Our company provides a full range of business aviation and concierge services. The aircraft we put on Belgian routes sit mostly at Biggin Hill, Stansted and Luton, with several based at Brussels and Kortrijk that remove the positioning leg on a same-day booking.

At your request, the aviation consultants of Private Jets UK will help you choose the jet with the suitable technical parameters (production year, flight hours, and home base). The cost of the private jet charter in Belgium depends on many factors, such as the model of the business jet, the number of passengers, departure and destination airports, type of flight, duration of parking, additional services, etc. Therefore, we calculate the price of each order individually taking into account your wishes. You can use an online calculator to get an instant charter quote. Please indicate your real contact details to get the final calculation.
You can calculate the cost of your flight in several ways:
- using an online calculator on the website (however, it shows only the approximate price);
- via Messenger (WhatsApp or Telegram);
- by landline or cell phone;
- via e-mail (jets@private-jets.co.uk).
Please note that the above-mentioned price is indicative only. It is calculated based on the following data: departure from London Biggin Hill Airport, a Citation M2, two passengers. If you want to get a personal quote, just fill out the online booking form below. Our aviation consultant will make the calculation within 20 minutes, and then contact you to specify the details of the flight.
How long does it take to fly to Belgium?
Belgium is the shortest hop we operate, and on several of these lines the drive to the departure field takes longer than the flight. These are the figures gate to gate:
106 and 107 nautical miles across the southern North Seaabout 40 minutes
163 nautical miles from Stansted and 185 from Lutonabout 55 minutes
170 nautical miles from Biggin Hill and 191 from Lutonabout 1 h
250 nautical milesabout 1 h 05 min
289 and 287 nautical milesabout 1 h 10 min
413 and 436 nautical miles1 h 20 to 1 h 25 min
On a sector this short the aircraft barely changes the time
A very light jet and a heavy one arrive in Brussels within about five minutes of each other, because most of the hour is taxi, climb and descent rather than cruise. That makes Belgium the one country on this site where we almost never recommend paying up a class for speed. Choose the cabin for the party and the luggage, and put the difference towards the ground arrangements, which is where a Belgian day actually gets won or lost.
The exact flight time depends on the model of the business jet, as well as the speed of the tail or head wind. Our consultant will make a detailed calculation of the flight time for the chosen business jet.

Two things worth knowing about these figures
– On a crossing this brief the handling and the crew hours carry almost the whole figure, and the fuel barely registers. That is why the cheapest line here sits below what a light jet costs to almost anywhere else;
– This is business flying rather than holiday flying. The pricing holds flat across the year, the traffic runs Monday to Thursday, and the summer peak that shapes the Mediterranean routes does not exist here.
Private jet flights from Belgium across north-west Europe
Belgium is small enough that internal flying is a niche, and most of what we quote from Brussels goes outward rather than inward. The country sits at the centre of a dense corner of Europe, and that is what the aircraft is bought for:
| Route | Aircraft | Flight time | Price, one way |

Two things worth knowing about these sectors
– Nothing inside Belgium is worth flying unless the schedule is impossible by road, and the helicopter on these legs is bought for the timing rather than the distance;
– The outward legs are the real business. Amsterdam and Luxembourg are forty minutes and Paris forty-five, and those movements are where the empty legs on Benelux routes come from.
Prices depending on the type of business jet
We can clearly show the high dependence of the cost of the flight, on the type of aircraft - we have collected approximate data, at the price of 1 flight hour, for various types of business jets:
- Large jet (similar to Legacy 600) - from 5800 to 6800 EUR per flight hour;
- Business liners - from 12100 EUR per flight hour;
- Light jet - from 2500 to 3500 EUR per flight hour;
- Long-haul jet (similar to Global 5000, Gulfstream G550, Falcon 7X, etc.) - from 6800 to 10400 EUR per flight hour;
- Medium-sized jet (identical to Cessna Citation XLS+, Hawker 800XP, etc.) - from 3500 to 4400 EUR per flight hour;
- Turboprops - from 1000 EUR per flight hour.
- Large medium-class jet (similar to Challenger 300, etc.) - from 5400 to 6500 EUR per flight hour;
- Small jet, from 2000 to 2900 EUR per flight hour;

Also, we have prepared a table with the general prices of the most popular planes:

Private jets are ready to take off
Turboprops
For the internal legs and the short cross-border hops, and the cheapest way to move around the Benelux corner. On a sector this short they lose almost nothing to a jet.
Light jets
The volume class on Belgian routes and the one Antwerp is built around. From London the flight is about an hour whatever you charter, so this is usually the sensible answer.
Super-midsize
Where a board travelling together lands, and where the northern British departures settle. On this sector the cabin is bought for the meeting rather than for the flight.
Heavy jets
For a larger delegation and for the Scottish and Northern Irish departures. These use Brussels or Liege rather than Antwerp, which cannot take them.
Ultra-long range
Common at Brussels because the institutions draw intercontinental traffic constantly. Rare on the British sector, which is an hour and needs none of the range.

Business aviation airports in Belgium
Belgium fits more usable business aviation fields into a country the size of Wales than anywhere else we fly, so the question is never whether one is near enough but which one suits the aircraft. These are the fields a private jet from Britain actually lands at:
| Airport | Ground | How it operates |
|---|---|---|
| Brussels Zaventem BRU / EBBR |
11 km to the centre | The main gateway, and the field that handles the European institutions. Two established FBOs, full customs at any hour and the runway for any aircraft flying. Brussels is twenty minutes away when the ring road behaves |
| Antwerp Deurne ANR / EBAW |
5 km to the centre | Level with Charleroi as the closest field to a Belgian city centre, and the one most of our Antwerp clients use. A single short runway, so light and midsize types only, and a walk of a few minutes from apron to car |
| Ostend Bruges OST / EBOS |
25 km to Bruges | The coast, and the closest Belgian field to Britain. Takes any aircraft and serves Bruges and the Flemish coast |
| Kortrijk Wevelgem KJK / EBKT |
30 km to Lille | The Flanders field, and the practical way into northern France without landing in it. A base for one of the two Belgian operators and quiet at almost any hour |
| Liege LGG / EBLG |
10 km to the centre | The Walloon capital and a major freight field, which means long runways and round the clock operation. Liege suits the eastern half of the country and the German border |
| Charleroi CRL / EBCI |
5 km to the centre | South of Brussels and busy with low-cost traffic, so it is the alternative rather than the first choice for a private arrival |
| Ghent and the smaller fields EBUL and others |
Ghent and the Flemish interior | Small strips for light aircraft, used more for training and club flying than for charter. We quote them only where the aircraft genuinely suits |
Antwerp asks for a smaller aircraft and gives you the city in return
Deurne sits five kilometres from the centre of Antwerp, which is nearer than London City is to the City of London. What it asks in return is a smaller aircraft: the single runway is 1,510 metres, which suits light and midsize cabins and rules out the larger ones, and the field closes overnight. For the diamond trade, the port and the corporate offices that make up most of our Antwerp traffic, that trade is worth making almost every time. Where the party or the luggage will not fit, Brussels is thirty-two kilometres away and takes anything.
Which airport for which part of Belgium
The country is small enough that every field reaches every city, so the choice is about minutes on the ground rather than geography. These are the pairings behind most of our Belgian private jet bookings:
the Commission, the Council and NATO, and the field built to handle their trafficBrussels Zaventem, 11 km
if the aircraft fits the runway, the office is fifteen minutes from the apronAntwerp Deurne, 5 km
the canals, the Markt and the Flemish coast within half an hour of the apronOstend, 25 km
a Belgian arrival for a French destination, which occasionally suits the paperworkKortrijk, 30 km
long runways, freight hours and open at any time of nightLiege, 10 km
Summit weeks are the Belgian equivalent of a ski season
Brussels hosts the European Council and NATO, and when either meets the airport changes character. Parking fills with state aircraft, slots tighten, and the security perimeter reaches the business terminals. It is not that a private arrival becomes impossible; it becomes slower and less flexible, and a same-day change of plan stops being straightforward. These dates are published well ahead and we check them before quoting rather than after. It is the one thing about Brussels that catches out a client who books it like any other European city.
Three things that shape a Belgian booking
– Almost all of it is a day return, out in the morning and back the same evening, which puts the pressure on the departure slot rather than the arrival;
– On a sector this short the aircraft class barely moves the flight time, so the choice is about cabin and luggage rather than speed. A light jet loses you nothing in the air;
– The train is genuinely competitive from London and we will say so. Where the aircraft wins is a morning in Brussels and an afternoon somewhere the Eurostar does not go.

Flying to Belgium with a dog or a cat
Belgium is among the simplest European countries for an animal on a private jet, and the crossing is short enough that most of them are asleep before the aircraft levels off. The paperwork is the standard European set.
The one fact to read before you book
Belgium is a listed country, so coming home needs no rabies blood test and no waiting period. An Animal Health Certificate from an Official Veterinarian in Britain, dated within ten days of travel, covers the outbound leg and then stays valid for return journeys for six months. Dogs need a tapeworm treatment on the way back, given by a Belgian vet between one and five days before departure and recorded with the date and the product. Belgian practices handle this constantly and the appointment is rarely difficult, but on a two-night trip the window is tight enough that we book it alongside the flight.
- An ISO-standard microchip, fitted before the rabies vaccination rather than after;
- Rabies vaccination at least 21 days old on the day you land, given when the animal was at least 12 weeks;
- An Animal Health Certificate dated no more than ten days before travel;
- Tapeworm treatment for dogs on the homeward leg only;
- Up to five animals per booking without commercial documentation.
Cats need the same list without the worming. What makes Belgium easy in practice as well as on paper is the length of the flight: an hour from London means an animal barely has time to settle, and the temperate weather at both ends removes the apron problem that shapes a Mediterranean booking in August. There is no hold and no weight limit, so a large dog travels exactly as a small one does.
practices near Brussels and Antwerp deal with charter clients regularly, and we book the return appointment with the flightnot on the field
short enough that the certificate is more work than the journeyabout 1 h
a temperate climate at both ends, unlike the southern European routes in Augustrarely the constraint
which suits the client who travels to the same office every few weekssix months of return trips
Requirements for birds, rabbits and the less usual species, along with the countries where the timeline runs to months, are set out on our flying with pets guide.
Types of flights
Our company provides all types of business flights. Due to a wide variety of jets, we can arrange:
- private flights;
- corporate flights;
- business class flights;
- concert tours;
- medical flights (with doctors and special equipment on board);
- tourist flights for large and small groups;
- sports charters for teams and coaching staff;
- combined flights (partly by business jet, and partly by helicopter);
- exclusive flights on luxury jets for businessmen, celebrities, and politicians;
- cargo flights, etc.
A flexible approach and a wide experience allow us to solve problems of any complexity. In 90% of cases, we manage to arrange urgent flights (on the day of application). But to be sure, we recommend you send a request at least 2-5 days before the desired date of departure.

Empty Legs
Another way to fly cheaper is to use Empty Legs. This service allows you to save on regular charter rates. As you know, part of the flights is one-way (for example, when the passenger flies from England to Belgium). After the flight, the jet returns to its home base (for example, to London Farnborough airport) empty. Such flight is called “Empty Legs”. Empty leg flights can be as cheap as 50-75% off the standard charter price. This option is profitable for both the passengers and the charter companies. The clients can enjoy the services of business aviation at a very good price, while the airlines recoup part of the cost of fuel and jet maintenance.
It is almost impossible to find Empty Leg flights, as the information about them is stored in special databases available only to the aviation brokers and specialized companies. You should know that Empty Leg flights offer the same service as private jet charters. The passengers enjoy a 100% private jet flying experience. Services and flight conditions are discussed individually. We should note that our company cooperates with the world’s largest home bases, so we can offer our clients a wide choice of return flights. Just send a request to our manager who will help you find the best flight options. Please note that Empty Leg flights are sold out very quickly. To avoid such a problem, you can leave us a deposit, and we will contact you as soon as the flight of your choice becomes available. For additional information, check with the operators.
A selection of empty legs that have run on the Belgian routes recently. Dates are left off, since a leg lasts only until somebody claims it:
| Route | Aircraft | Capacity | Whole aircraft |
|---|---|---|---|
| Belgium (Ostend) - UK (Norwich) | Cessna Citation Mustang | 4 seats | 1,700 EUR |
| UK (London Stansted) - Belgium (Antwerp) | Cessna Citation M2 | 7 seats | 2,200 EUR |
| Belgium (Antwerp) - UK (London Luton) | Cessna Citation CJ3+ | 7 seats | 2,600 EUR |
| UK (Oxford) - Belgium (Brussels) | Embraer Phenom 300E | 8 seats | 3,100 EUR |
| Belgium (Brussels) - UK (Bristol) | Bombardier Learjet 75 Liberty | 8 seats | 3,700 EUR |
| UK (Leeds Bradford) - Belgium (Brussels) | Cessna Citation XLS+ | 9 seats | 4,200 EUR |
| Belgium (Brussels) - UK (Newcastle) | Embraer Praetor 600 | 9 seats | 5,000 EUR |
| UK (Glasgow) - Belgium (Brussels) | Bombardier Challenger 350 | 9 seats | 6,300 EUR |
How to read those figures
– Each price is for the whole aircraft rather than per seat. A Challenger 350 out of Glasgow at 6,300 EUR carrying nine works out at seven hundred a head;
– Set each line beside the same class in the tables above. A Citation XLS+ into Brussels at 4,200 EUR against 10,200 for a fresh charter out of Leeds is the saving in plain terms;
– These go faster than legs on any other route we run, because the figure is low enough that a client will take one without a planned trip. A standing window with us catches far more of them than watching a page does.

Jet Sharing
Today, Jet Sharing is just as popular as private jet charter. This service involves the joint rental of a business jet with other passengers (that is, the cost of the flight is divided equally between all passengers of a specific flight). This type of flight has become especially popular in the last few years. Many people like Jet Sharing because it allows you to enjoy all benefits of business aviation at favorable prices.
We should note that the number of passengers per Jet Sharing flight varies from 3 to 8, while the cost of the flight ranges from 1400 to 7100 euros (depending on the destination). This way, you can get a comfortable flight on a business jet (and maybe even meet new business partners) at a very good price. You can check out the schedule of Jet Sharing flights by filling in the online form or contacting our operators by phone or WhatsApp.
Main advantages of this service:
- All privileges of business aviation, including the use of the business aviation terminal and the check-in 30 minutes before the flight, are retained;
- You can also use the services of the VIP Lounge (included in the price of the flight);
- No baggage restrictions;
- Affordable price: jet sharing is much cheaper than private jet charter;
- Pets can be carried directly in the aircraft cabin.
Our consultants will be happy to help you choose the best flight.

Helicopter charter
Belgium is flat, small and densely built, so alongside the private jet the helicopter here does none of the work it does in the Alps. What it buys is timing: a meeting in two cities on the same morning, or the last mile when the ring road has stopped moving:
the two business centres, against an hour on a motorway that seizes twice a dayabout 15 minutes
the country houses and conference venues in the south-eastabout 25 minutes
the Flemish coast, and quicker than the road through Ghentabout 25 minutes
a cross-border leg that takes half the time of the driveabout 30 minutes
the one rotary leg here that competes with the aircraft rather than the carabout 45 minutes
The machines that work these routes
– Airbus H125 and Bell 407, the light singles behind most corporate and city transfers;
– Airbus H145 twins, which Belgian operators use on the cross-border and coastal work;
– Airbus H130 for a party of six where the leg runs beyond twenty minutes and cabin noise starts to matter.
Two points on Belgian rotary legs
– This is some of the busiest controlled airspace in Europe and the approvals reflect it, so a landing site away from an airfield wants arranging days ahead rather than hours;
– Low cloud rather than wind is what stops a leg here, and in November and February it stops a fair number of them, so a car stays arranged behind every transfer.

Flight payment options
The main goal of our company is to provide the highest level of comfort to our customers. Therefore, we’re always ready to meet you halfway. Our consultants will offer you a wide variety of flights to meet your needs and budget. Most customers prefer a non-cash method (a transfer to an EU bank account), which guarantees a high level of confidentiality and security of payment. All payment details are provided in advance, so you’ll have enough time to make the necessary checks. For years of working in business aviation, our company has gained an impeccable reputation. We practice transparency and are always ready to present all necessary documents.
Private Jet UK works with both physical and legal entities. We guarantee the confidentiality and security of payments. You can pay for the flights from Belgium in any convenient way:
- cashless (by transfer to our account);
- by cash;
- by card;
- by cryptocurrency.
Our company works with European and British banks, which allows you to choose the most convenient payment method. In addition, we conclude formal agreements and provide our clients with all necessary documents and invoices, which guarantees the safe payment and delivery of services. If you have any financial questions, feel free to contact our private aviation consultants.
If you need to book an urgent flight, please keep in mind that the bank transfer can take a few days. In such situations, we may need to involve our partner companies so that you can pay for your flight in cash. If you have any questions, you can contact your personal consultant 24/7.

What our clients say about flying to Belgium
A few words from people who have made these trips with us. First names only, and the wording is theirs.
DAY RETURN
“Shorter than my commute used to be”
Biggin Hill to Brussels · Citation M2 · Edward N.
“From start to finish, simply excellent. I have used them several times now for the Brussels day return and every time they go beyond what is asked. Forty minutes in the air, a day of meetings, home in the evening. It has become routine in the best sense.”
ANTWERP
“Five kilometres from the office”
Stansted to Antwerp · Citation M2 · Rachel V.
“Nobody could get me that price on the Belgian sector, and I compared. Then there is Antwerp itself: five kilometres from the office in the diamond district, and none of the Brussels traffic. I will happily work with them again.”
THE COAST
“Norwich to Ostend is barely a flight”
Norwich to Ostend · Citation Mustang · Simon B.
“I needed to fly at the shortest possible notice and Lenard made it happen. If you need service that is fast AND premium at the same time, this is the place. Our guests were looked after with real care. Fifteen minutes over the sea and we were on the coast.”
SUMMIT WEEK
“They checked the calendar before quoting”
Luton to Brussels · Citation CJ3+ · Charlotte D.
“My dates landed squarely on an EU summit week, slots were vanishing in front of me and the situation was genuinely stressful. They organised the flight with complete professionalism and, above all, kept me calm: the slot was locked in early rather than left to luck. A broker who looks at the Brussels calendar before quoting is worth the money.”
WITH THE DOG
“The certificate took longer than the flight”
Luton to Brussels · Citation CJ3+ · Marianne and Otto
“The level of detail was endless, right down to the rabies vaccination date and the window for the health certificate. In the end Otto’s paperwork took longer than the journey: fifty minutes in the air against ten days of preparation. But with that list in hand it all went through first time.”
EMPTY LEG
“Cheaper than four business class seats”
Antwerp to Luton · Citation CJ3+ · Peter H.
“The four of us took an empty leg home and per head it came out cheaper than four business class seats on the scheduled run. An empty leg is a moveable feast and you need to be flexible and ready to go, but if that is you, it is the best way to fly privately for very different money.”
Frequently asked questions about flying to Belgium
1How long does it take to fly to Belgium by private jet?
About an hour from London to Brussels or Antwerp, and around forty minutes from Norwich or Biggin Hill to Ostend. From Manchester or Leeds allow about an hour and ten minutes, and from Glasgow or Belfast an hour and twenty-five. These are the shortest international sectors we operate.
2How much does a private jet to Belgium cost?
From about 4,100 EUR one way from Norwich to Ostend on a very light jet, and 5,500 EUR from Biggin Hill to Brussels. Luton to Brussels starts around 6,400 EUR, Leeds around 10,200 EUR and Glasgow around 15,200 EUR. Short legs onward from Brussels start at about 2,200 EUR.
3Can a private jet land at Antwerp city airport?
Yes, and it is five kilometres from the centre. The single runway is 1,510 metres, so it takes light and midsize aircraft and not the larger cabins, and it closes overnight. There are no slot restrictions when it is open, which makes it unusually flexible for a city field.
4Which airport is best for Bruges and the coast?
Ostend, at twenty-five kilometres from Bruges. It is also the shortest crossing from Britain we operate: 106 nautical miles from Norwich and 107 from Biggin Hill, about forty minutes gate to gate.
5Does a summit in Brussels affect a private flight?
It can. European Council and NATO weeks fill the parking with state aircraft, tighten slots and extend the security perimeter to the business terminals. A private arrival stays possible but becomes slower and less flexible. The dates are published well ahead and we check them before quoting.
