Private jet charter to UAE
Private Jets UK flies clients from Britain to the Emirates, the longest sector on this site at close to three thousand nautical miles, where the paperwork takes longer than in Europe and the arrival field is a real decision rather than a formality. Our customers have access to 6500 jets of all types and configurations available for rent. We will help you choose the best option based on your needs and objectives. Our catalog contains the models from the largest manufacturers: Gulfstream, Dassault, Embraer, Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, Learjet, Cessna, Beechcraft, Pilatus, HondaJet, etc. For 15 years of successful work, we have established partnerships with the world’s largest airlines and VIP terminals, which means we can offer you the most favorable flight conditions and a high level of service. Our experts will manage the organization of your flight - starting with paperwork, agreements, etc., and ending with a transfer and meeting at the airport. Our company provides a full range of business aviation and concierge services. The aircraft we put on Gulf routes sit at the London fields, and several of the operators we work with keep aircraft at Al Maktoum itself, which removes the positioning leg on a short-notice booking.

At your request, the aviation consultants of Private Jets UK will help you choose the jet with the suitable technical parameters (production year, flight hours, and home base). The cost of the private jet charter in UAE depends on many factors, such as the model of the business jet, the number of passengers, departure and destination airports, type of flight, duration of parking, additional services, etc. Therefore, we calculate the price of each order individually taking into account your wishes. You can use an online calculator to get an instant charter quote. Please indicate your real contact details to get the final calculation.
You can calculate the cost of your flight in several ways:
- using an online calculator on the website (however, it shows only the approximate price);
- via Messenger (WhatsApp or Telegram);
- by landline or cell phone;
- via e-mail (jets@private-jets.co.uk).
Please note that the above-mentioned price is indicative only. It is calculated based on the following data: departure from London Luton Airport, an Embraer Legacy 650, two passengers. If you want to get a personal quote, just fill out the online booking form below. Our aviation consultant will make the calculation within 20 minutes, and then contact you to specify the details of the flight.
How long does it take to fly to UAE?
The figures below are gate to gate, and the spread between the nearest and furthest British departure point is close to three hundred nautical miles:
2,929 nautical miles, the shortest crossing from Britainabout 6 h 20 min
2,956 and 2,978 nautical milesabout 6 h 30 min
3,034 nautical milesabout 6 h 40 min
3,063 nautical milesabout 6 h 45 min
3,130 nautical milesabout 6 h 50 min
3,164 and 3,212 nautical milesabout 7 h
Out is faster than back, which surprises most people
Eastbound out of Britain the aircraft has the prevailing westerlies behind it for part of the route, and coming home it works against them. The difference across a sector of this length runs to twenty or thirty minutes, occasionally more in winter. It is worth knowing when a schedule is tight at either end, and it is one reason we quote the two directions separately rather than doubling the outbound figure.
The exact flight time depends on the model of the business jet, as well as the speed of the tail or head wind. Our consultant will make a detailed calculation of the flight time for the chosen business jet.

Two things worth knowing about these figures
– The table starts at super-midsize and there is nothing smaller on it. Every British departure to the Emirates runs past two thousand nine hundred nautical miles, which rules out the light cabins on range before anyone discusses comfort;
– The gap between the top and the bottom of this table is around sixty-eight per cent, and almost none of it is distance. It is cabin size on a sector where everyone is aboard for the better part of seven hours.

Private jet flights from the Emirates
Dubai works as a base for the whole region, and a good share of the flying we arrange there never touches Britain. These are the private jet sectors we quote outward:
| Route | Aircraft | Flight time | Price, one way |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dubai (DWC) - Abu Dhabi (AZI) 48 nm / 88 km |
Airbus H145 helicopter up to 6 |
about 28 min | from 2,400 EUR |
| Dubai (DWC) - Ras Al Khaimah (RKT) 60 nm / 112 km |
Airbus H145 helicopter up to 6 |
about 34 min | from 2,900 EUR |
| Dubai (DWC) - Muscat, Oman 188 nm / 348 km |
Citation CJ4 Gen2 up to 8 |
about 1 h 08 min | from 9,800 EUR |
| Dubai (DWC) - Doha, Qatar 195 nm / 360 km |
Citation CJ4 Gen2 up to 8 |
about 1 h 10 min | from 10,400 EUR |
| Dubai (DWC) - Riyadh, Saudi Arabia 461 nm / 853 km |
Praetor 500 up to 9 |
about 2 h 12 min | from 15,900 EUR |
| Dubai (DWC) - Mumbai, India 1,044 nm / 1,934 km |
Challenger 350 up to 9 |
about 2 h 40 min | from 24,600 EUR |
| Dubai (DWC) - Male, Maldives 1,634 nm / 3,026 km |
Falcon 900LX up to 12 |
about 3 h 55 min | from 36,800 EUR |
Two things worth knowing about these sectors
– The first two lines are helicopter transfers rather than jet sectors, because inside the Emirates the distances are too short for anything else to make sense;
– Doha sits a hundred and ninety-five nautical miles from Dubai, which is shorter than London to Nice. The Gulf is a good deal more compact than it looks on a map, and that is where a great many of the empty legs in the region come from.
Prices depending on the type of business jet
We can clearly show the high dependence of the cost of the flight, on the type of aircraft - we have collected approximate data, at the price of 1 flight hour, for various types of business jets:
- Large jet (similar to Legacy 600) - from 5800 to 6800 EUR per flight hour;
- Business liners - from 12100 EUR per flight hour;
- Light jet - from 2500 to 3500 EUR per flight hour;
- Long-haul jet (similar to Global 5000, Gulfstream G550, Falcon 7X, etc.) - from 6800 to 10400 EUR per flight hour;
- Medium-sized jet (identical to Cessna Citation XLS+, Hawker 800XP, etc.) - from 3500 to 4400 EUR per flight hour;
- Turboprops - from 1000 EUR per flight hour.
- Large medium-class jet (similar to Challenger 300, etc.) - from 5400 to 6500 EUR per flight hour;
- Small jet, from 2000 to 2900 EUR per flight hour;

Also, we have prepared a table with the general prices of the most popular planes:

Private jets are ready to take off
Super-midsize
The smallest class that reaches the Gulf from Britain at all, and the one where the numbers need checking rather than assuming.
Heavy jets
Where most of these bookings settle. Seven hours with a full cabin is exactly the sector these aircraft were built for, and the price gap to the class above is substantial.
Ultra-long range
For departures from Glasgow, Edinburgh and Belfast, for a full party, and for anyone continuing east from Dubai without changing aircraft.
Regional aircraft in the Gulf
Based in Dubai rather than flown out from Britain. The longer regional sectors use the same heavy and super-midsize types listed above.

Business aviation airports in the UAE
Seven fields take a private jet in a country the size of Ireland, and the three that matter each work on a different set of rules:
| Airport | Ground | How it operates |
|---|---|---|
| Dubai Al Maktoum DWC / OMDW |
36 km to Dubai | A 4,500 metre runway and five separate FBOs, which between them handle the bulk of Gulf business aviation. This is where we send most Dubai arrivals, for reasons set out below |
| Dubai International DXB / OMDB |
11 km to Dubai | Three times closer to the city than Al Maktoum, and correspondingly harder to get into at the hours anyone wants. Two private terminals operate here |
| Abu Dhabi Al Bateen AZI / OMAD |
9 km to Abu Dhabi | Closer to the middle of Abu Dhabi than any other field in the country comes to either city. A former air base, civilian since 2008 |
| Abu Dhabi Zayed AUH / OMAA |
28 km to Abu Dhabi | The main international airport for the capital, used when the party is large enough that the aircraft needs a long runway and full airline-scale handling |
| Sharjah SHJ / OMSJ |
28 km to Dubai | Closer to central Dubai than Al Maktoum is, and quieter. Worth asking about when the Dubai fields are full, which in season they are |
| Ras Al Khaimah RKT / OMRK |
81 km to Dubai | The northern emirate, its resorts and the Jebel Jais mountain road. A field in its own right rather than an overflow for Dubai |
| Al Ain and Fujairah AAN and FJR |
the interior and the east coast | Secondary fields, used for the Hajar mountains and the Indian Ocean coast rather than for either city |
What separates Al Maktoum, Dubai International and Al Bateen
Dubai International has been slot coordinated at the strictest level since 2010, which makes slots scarce at the busy hours and pushes a good deal of private traffic out to Al Maktoum. It is worth saying plainly that private jets are not banned there, whatever gets repeated online: two private terminals still operate and the permit requirements are identical at both fields. Al Maktoum works under a facilitation regime instead, stays open around the clock and imposes no restriction on aircraft type, which is why it has become the default. Al Bateen is the third answer and a different kind of airport altogether, given over to business aviation alone and sitting nine kilometres from the middle of Abu Dhabi. Where the meeting is in the capital, it beats both Dubai fields comfortably.
Permits here take longer than they do in Europe
A flight into the Emirates needs landing and overflight permits and, depending on the passports aboard, visa coordination alongside them. The handler arranges all of it, but the lead time is longer than anything a European sector requires, and it is the single reason a Gulf booking made on the morning of departure sometimes cannot be flown. Where a trip is genuinely last minute we will say at the outset whether the paperwork can be done in time rather than discover it halfway through the day. On a normal booking made a few days out none of this is visible to the client at all.
Which airport for which part of the Emirates
The country is compact enough that the answer is usually one of three fields, and the ground leg after the private jet lands is short whichever you pick:
the default arrival, and the road out of it is the quieter oneAl Maktoum, 36 km
ten minutes to the business district if the slot is thereDubai International, 11 km
a business apron all day, with no airline bank to work aroundAl Bateen, 9 km
or half an hour by helicopter from either Dubai fieldRas Al Khaimah, 81 km
the two fields with runways past four kilometres and full handlingZayed or Al Maktoum
Nearly three thousand miles changes what you are buying
Norwich to Dubai is 2,929 nautical miles and Belfast 3,212. On a sector of that length the cabin stops being a comfort question and becomes the whole product: a bed that is actually flat, a galley that can serve two proper meals, and a cabin altitude low enough that nobody arrives with a headache. It also narrows the choice sharply: a super-midsize will do it from the south of England with a light load, and the same aircraft from Glasgow with nine aboard will not, which is the sort of thing worth establishing before a deposit rather than after.
Three things that shape an Emirates booking
– The season runs backwards from the Mediterranean. November to March is peak and July is the bargain, which catches out clients used to booking European summers;
– The Dubai Airshow in November and the MEBAA show in December fill every stand in the emirate, and those two weeks price like the Monaco Grand Prix does on the Riviera;
– A return within the same week is often cheaper per hour than a one way, because the aircraft would otherwise fly home empty across five and a half thousand kilometres.

Flying to the Emirates with a dog or a cat
This is the one destination on the site where the animal needs its own paperwork well in advance, and the timeline is measured in weeks rather than days.
The one fact to read before you book
The Emirates require an import permit issued in advance by the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, alongside a health certificate and a rabies titre test from an approved laboratory. This is a different order of preparation from a European trip, where the certificate is written days before departure. Start the process a month ahead rather than a week. Certain breeds are restricted and a few are barred outright, which is worth checking at the enquiry stage rather than at the aircraft. Coming home to Britain is the simpler direction: the UAE is a listed country, so no blood test and no waiting period, though the tapeworm treatment for dogs still applies within the usual window before departure.
- An import permit obtained in advance, which is the step with the longest lead time;
- An ISO-standard microchip, fitted before the rabies vaccination rather than after;
- A rabies titre test from an approved laboratory for the outbound journey;
- Tapeworm treatment for dogs on the homeward leg, one to five days before departure;
- Breed restrictions that apply regardless of the paperwork.
On the jet itself there is no hold and no weight limit, so a large dog travels in the cabin exactly as a small one does. The sector is long for an animal by any measure, and we plan water and a walk at both ends accordingly. Heat is the other consideration: between June and September the apron is punishing at any hour, and we move these departures to the coolest part of the day as a matter of course.
start at the enquiry, not once the aircraft and dates are fixedweeks, not days
the list is specific and it is published, so the answer is quickchecked at the enquiry
long enough that water and a walk at both ends need planningclose to seven hours
the return needs far less preparation than the outbound legthe easier direction
Requirements for birds, rabbits and the less usual species, along with the countries where the timeline runs to months, are set out on our flying with pets guide.

Types of flights
Our company provides all types of business flights. Due to a wide variety of jets, we can arrange:
- private flights;
- corporate flights;
- business class flights;
- concert tours;
- medical flights (with doctors and special equipment on board);
- tourist flights for large and small groups;
- sports charters for teams and coaching staff;
- combined flights (partly by business jet, and partly by helicopter);
- exclusive flights on luxury jets for businessmen, celebrities, and politicians;
- cargo flights, etc.
A flexible approach and a wide experience allow us to solve problems of any complexity. In 90% of cases, we manage to arrange urgent flights (on the day of application). But to be sure, we recommend you send a request at least 2-5 days before the desired date of departure.

Empty Legs
Another way to fly cheaper is to use Empty Legs. This service allows you to save on regular charter rates. As you know, part of the flights is one-way (for example, when the passenger flies from England to UAE). After the flight, the jet returns to its home base (for example, to London Farnborough airport) empty. Such flight is called “Empty Legs”. Empty leg flights can be as cheap as 50-75% off the standard charter price. This option is profitable for both the passengers and the charter companies. The clients can enjoy the services of business aviation at a very good price, while the airlines recoup part of the cost of fuel and jet maintenance.
It is almost impossible to find Empty Leg flights, as the information about them is stored in special databases available only to the aviation brokers and specialized companies. You should know that Empty Leg flights offer the same service as private jet charters. The passengers enjoy a 100% private jet flying experience. Services and flight conditions are discussed individually. We should note that our company cooperates with the world’s largest home bases, so we can offer our clients a wide choice of return flights. Just send a request to our manager who will help you find the best flight options. Please note that Empty Leg flights are sold out very quickly. To avoid such a problem, you can leave us a deposit, and we will contact you as soon as the flight of your choice becomes available. For additional information, check with the operators.
A selection of empty legs that have run on the Gulf routes recently. Dates are left off, since a leg lasts only until somebody claims it:
| Route | Aircraft | Capacity | Whole aircraft |
|---|---|---|---|
| UAE (Dubai DWC) - UK (London Stansted) | Embraer Praetor 600 | 9 seats | 33,000 EUR |
| UK (London Biggin Hill) - UAE (Dubai DXB) | Embraer Legacy 650 | 13 seats | 36,100 EUR |
| UAE (Abu Dhabi AZI) - UK (London Luton) | Bombardier Challenger 605 | 12 seats | 37,400 EUR |
| UK (London Gatwick) - UAE (Dubai DWC) | Dassault Falcon 2000LXS | 10 seats | 38,600 EUR |
| UAE (Dubai DXB) - UK (London Luton) | Bombardier Global 6000 | 13 seats | 44,500 EUR |
| UK (Manchester) - UAE (Dubai DWC) | Dassault Falcon 8X | 14 seats | 47,500 EUR |
| UAE (Dubai DWC) - UK (Edinburgh) | Gulfstream G550 | 16 seats | 50,000 EUR |
| UK (Belfast) - UAE (Dubai DWC) | Bombardier Global 7500 | 14 seats | 55,000 EUR |
How to read those figures
– Each price is for the whole aircraft rather than per seat. A Global 7500 out of Belfast at 55,000 EUR carrying fourteen works out just under four thousand a head for close to seven hours;
– Set each line beside the same class in the first table. A Praetor 600 home to Stansted at 33,000 EUR against 79,000 for a fresh charter is the saving in plain terms;
– An aircraft that has carried a party out to the Gulf has to come back whether or not anyone is aboard, and on a sector this long that repositioning is expensive enough to be worth selling.

Jet Sharing
Today, Jet Sharing is just as popular as private jet charter. This service involves the joint rental of a business jet with other passengers (that is, the cost of the flight is divided equally between all passengers of a specific flight). This type of flight has become especially popular in the last few years. Many people like Jet Sharing because it allows you to enjoy all benefits of business aviation at favorable prices.
We should note that the number of passengers per Jet Sharing flight varies from 3 to 8, while the cost of the flight ranges from 1400 to 7100 euros (depending on the destination). This way, you can get a comfortable flight on a business jet (and maybe even meet new business partners) at a very good price. You can check out the schedule of Jet Sharing flights by filling in the online form or contacting our operators by phone or WhatsApp.
Main advantages of this service:
- All privileges of business aviation, including the use of the business aviation terminal and the check-in 30 minutes before the flight, are retained;
- You can also use the services of the VIP Lounge (included in the price of the flight);
- No baggage restrictions;
- Affordable price: jet sharing is much cheaper than private jet charter;
- Pets can be carried directly in the aircraft cabin.
Our consultants will be happy to help you choose the best flight.

Flight payment options
The main goal of our company is to provide the highest level of comfort to our customers. Therefore, we’re always ready to meet you halfway. Our consultants will offer you a wide variety of flights to meet your needs and budget. All payment details are provided in advance, so you’ll have enough time to make the necessary checks. For years of working in business aviation, our company has gained an impeccable reputation. We practice transparency and are always ready to present all necessary documents.

What our clients say about flying to the Emirates
A few words from people who have made these trips with us. First names only, and the wording is theirs.
THE PAPERWORK
“They told me the permits would not be ready”
Luton to Dubai · Legacy 650 · Sebastian K.
“I wanted to leave the following morning. They told me plainly the permits would not be through in time and offered the day after instead. Another broker would have taken the booking and kept quiet until the last moment. Here the permits came through exactly on schedule, and on the day of the flight they told me about every movement, down to when the car left the hotel.”
AL BATEEN
“Nine kilometres from the office”
Luton to Abu Dhabi · Challenger 605 · Rashid M.
“For years I had been landing in Dubai and driving to Abu Dhabi, ninety minutes each way. Al Bateen sits inside the city, nine kilometres from the office, and nobody had ever once suggested it. I have used this company for a few years now: whatever the task, they always find a solution, and now the routing is right as well.”
THE CABIN
“They talked me out of the smaller aircraft”
Glasgow to Dubai · Gulfstream G650ER · Fiona A.
“I asked for the cheapest thing that would make the trip. They explained that from Glasgow with nine of us aboard it would be marginal, and put us on a machine that carries that load without caveats. The aircraft they recommended was lovely and nearly new, and seven hours passed unnoticed. I would rather be corrected at the quote than reassured all the way to a fuel stop.”
THE SEASON
“July cost half what February would have”
Stansted to Dubai · Praetor 600 · Douglas W.
“The broker laid out the economics of the flight straight away: demand for the Gulf peaks from November to March, while in July the same aircraft sit free with their operators, and the rate on the same Praetor came out nearly half the February figure. The slots were confirmed instantly and the departure never moved a minute. They took my numbers seriously, negotiated on my behalf for the best rate, and it showed in the final quote.”
ONWARD
“Dubai to the Maldives on the same aircraft”
Luton to Dubai, then onward · Global 6000 · The Harkness party
“Three days of meetings, then a week on the islands. The aircraft stayed with us, the second leg took under four hours, and when the dates shifted because of a client meeting, the new itinerary was rebuilt quickly and without a single hitch. On scheduled flights that trip would have taken two days and two changes.”
EMPTY LEG
“Home from Dubai at well under half”
Dubai to Stansted · Praetor 600 · Nadia P.
“My return date was floating: a week earlier or later made no difference. That is exactly the trip empty legs are made for. The aircraft comes back to Europe regardless, and the only question is whether it flies empty or with us. I left them a flexible window, the alert about a suitable leg came within days, and the flight home cost less than four business class tickets.”
Frequently asked questions about flying to the UAE
1How much does a private jet from London to Dubai cost?
From about 78,000 EUR one way for the whole aircraft on a super-midsize cabin out of Norwich or Stansted, and 87,500 EUR from Luton on a heavy jet. A large-cabin aircraft from London runs to around 106,000 EUR and an ultra-long-range one to 112,000 EUR or more. From Edinburgh, Glasgow or Belfast expect 119,000 to 131,000 EUR.
2How long is the flight from London to Dubai by private jet?
Around six and a half hours from the London fields, which sit between 2,949 and 2,988 nautical miles from the Emirates. From Manchester or Edinburgh allow closer to seven, and from Belfast a little over that. The outbound leg is usually the quicker of the two, since the prevailing westerlies are behind the aircraft on the way out.
3Which airport do private jets use in Dubai?
Al Maktoum, in most cases. It has a 4,500 metre runway, five FBOs, no slot queue and no restriction on aircraft type, and it stays open around the clock. Dubai International is three times closer to the city but has been slot coordinated at the strictest level since 2010, so it works when the slot is available and not otherwise. Private jets are not banned there, despite what gets repeated.
4Can a private jet land in the middle of Abu Dhabi?
Very nearly. Al Bateen Executive sits nine kilometres from the centre of Abu Dhabi and is given over to business aviation alone, with no airline schedule, no slot restrictions and round-the-clock operation. For a meeting in the capital it beats either Dubai airport comfortably.
5What paperwork does a flight to the UAE need?
Landing and overflight permits, and visa coordination where the passports aboard require it. The handler arranges all of it, but the lead time is longer than a European sector needs, which is why a same-day booking to the Gulf is sometimes not possible even when an aircraft is free.
